As a first time home buyer, this is one of the worst decisions I've ever made. I worked with Chour Pietrek and her team was unreliable. She rushed my family and I into choosing a house that wasn't functional for us. My family and I trusted her as our agent and we feel like we were scammed. First of all, Chour had no knowledge of the house's past history and couldn't answer any questions we had about the houses that we looked at. When my family and I had settled for a house, Chour told me that I should offer more than the actual price. Chour had also told me not to hire an inspector. This was terrible advice coming from a realtor. I had trusted her word and didn't hire an inspector which turned out to be a bad decision. As a first time home buyer, I trusted her very much. That very day Chour immediately told us to go to her office to sign the papers and was insistent that we buy the house right then and there. Upon financing to buy the house, her team was awful to work with. The financial person she recommended us to work with was disorganized and was asking for unnecessary documents that weren't needed for financing. Then when it came to the day my family and I were moving in, the financial person gave us the wrong down-payment amount, which we did not find out until the day of closing. He miscalculated the total price and I had to quickly go back to them and pay the remaining amount. I would never go back to Berkshire Hathaway nor their agents. Just this interaction alone tells me how inept Berkshire Hathaway employees are.

Because I went through a different agent to purchase a house the agent that my agent had to deal with undermined the sale. I went 19000 over asking and somehow the owner went with a less offer. I was told that the realtor from Berkshire Hathaway was not only racist but undermined the sale by not being completely honest with the owner. What a horrible company.

I had an experience with Berkshire in regards to renting. I had a broker, basically the third party between the landlord and I (the tenant). She works for this company and went through the walk in but neglected to write certain things down, told us to cover live wire, and went over went over our lease but neglected to mention certain things in the lease. We were first time renters and got taken advantage of by Stacy Brooks from Berkshire. We had to leave our house early due to mold everywhere. She was basically a car salesman renting a slum lords house taking advantage of younger adults. I would not recommend this company.

I was the only person in the entire State of Connecticut that lost money on my home becuase I had the worst realtor in existence. I threw her out of my home at one point, she spent the entire time un-selling my home, was never taught features & benefits are good. I hope she changes professions so no one else has to go through what I went through

I really have o problem with one of your agents trying to go around the laws of Texas on community property rights. She apparently got a lawyer to vacate my 50% in proceeds if property sells. I feel as an all man of 75 she not only violates my property rights but come under the laws of elderly abuse.

I was trying to purchase a home; Cassandra Black with Berkshire Hathaway, did not explain to her client that the age of the roof could impact the sale, and I don't believe she did her due diligence on the homes value. I offered full price for the home listed at 425K.
The first delay was when I could not obtain hazard insurance due to the age of the roof, and apparently the seller was reluctant to replace it or Casandra was not advising him properly because it took a few days until they agreed the roof would be replaced. Then the appraisal came in at 45K under the list price. I had no more money to offer and they didn't want to drop the sale price to 380K. After days of waiting for the seller to say what he was going to do I had to have my agent submit a cancellation. I didn't have the funds they wanted and therefore I could not get the financing. Well the cancellation came after the expiration date, and now they do not want to refund my full $10k. Without these funds I cannot purchase another home. I need it for closing. Maybe logistically the have the right to hold the funds, but they have jeopardize my ability to purchase another home, and I am now frantically looking for a rental in Orlando as my son will be attending UCF.
I tried reaching out to her but she did not return my call.

No child under 5 can attend the CHI without a Covid card? We got turned away because my 6 month old was not vaccinated during Berkshire 2022 event. 1. A baby can not get vaccinated 2. No where does it state 5 and under has to be vaccinated 3. The person that authorized this should be fired and everyone that agrees to this or just follows it is a complete idiots.

Horrible, uncaring, unsympathetic untrustworthy, back stabbing company you could ever do business with.

Presently have an umbrella policy and 2 autos insured by Geico. Purchased a car for my son today and they would not write a policy with liability coverage suitable for the umbrella policy requirements. Found a company that would write adequate liability coverage. Attempted to include new auto in umbrella policy. Was told cannnot add a vehicle to umbrella policy unless insured by Geico. GREAT
Now I a forced to find new insurance for my 2 cars, house, and boat. I will also replace my umbrella policy with a new company. Somehow I thought an insurance company was in the business to sell insurance. I was obviously WRONG!

They do not respond to any requests or repairs on rental properties. Broken exterior lighting, security lighting, mold in bathroom, broken water lines. Terrible. Do not do business with Berkshire Hathaway, they dont care.

I rented a condominium in a golf community in Naples Florida through Berkshire Hathaway. The broker clearly misrepresented material expenses that I will incur as part of my rental. The broker told me that i would get full golf privileges for my 90 day stay if I paid an extra $400 membership transfer fee. Days before my rental begins and long after the rental check cleared, i learned that the golf privileges do no include full member benefits and that I must incur significant additional costs in order to use the golf facilities. I called the broker to complain and tell him that he clearly misrepresented the financial arrangement. He just said that everybody does that.

Campbell Hausfeld is a Berkshire Hathaway company. They make air compressors, including portable ones you can carry in your car for emergencies. I've had one for quite a while and recently had reason to use it. It pumped my tire up one time and then died. The compressor was new in the box and I GOT TO USE IT ONE TIME BEFORE IT DIED. A Campbell Hausfeld engineer said it died due to age and lack of use. The Campbell Hausfeld slogan is "Built to Last". I translate the engineer's comments into poor engineering, poor design, poor construction and a total lack of interest in his job. The very nature of the product would indicate it would not be used often. If one had to use it often it would be wise to buy new tires. Don't buy this cheap crap. You are just making Warren Buffoon richer.

My fiancé has been waiting 3 weeks for his pension payout. First, they sent wrong wire transfer number. Second, they finally sent corrected number, but still hadn't transferred the money. Third, after another week of waiting, He was told they only transfer on last business day of the month. Called them on last business day, they said they were working on it and it would be sent by end of day. First business day of next month, money still not there. Called them, and now being told it will be another week because they have to take out the taxes. Still waiting. Biggest liars and holding onto HIS money. He put the money in there, not them. It's his, not theirs, now give it to him. What scammers.

As the parent company of Forest River you need to be aware of the very sloppy workmanship of Travel Trailers Forest River produces. You Tube shows the construction to be very fast with little regard to the quality of work. I purchased a new Wildcat in Tampa to use for my move from GA to WA. Before I could use it I had to take it to a local dealer in GA to repair the clogged water tank which wouldn't drain. It was clogged with plastic shavings. There were several other irritating flaws which I had to deal with during my 3000 mile trip to WA. The microwave vibrated back inside its cabinet because an assembler stripped 3 of the 4 retaining screws and they fell out. The sink drain and faucet both had loose connections which caused two separate water leaks. There was a water stain on the ceiling of the super-slide. On the exterior some of the undercovering was torn and the retaining nails were only partially driven into the frame. Wood dust and chips fell from the ceiling during the first 1000 miles or so. Once I arrived in WA I had to take my trailer into a dealer for warranty work and they took 2 months to fix it because it took most of that time to get parts from Forest River. It's a shame because the trailer design is quite good, but the workmanship is 3rd world with no apparent quality control relying on the customer and dealer to fix what should have never left the factory. Please feel free to forward this to Warren Buffet. I'm sure quality would improve dramatically if he knew what junk they turn out at Forest River. This is not an isolated incident. Even the dealers admit they have many flaws from the factory.

I am dealing with a discriminatory issue with my Geico claim and the Dallas claims office. I've made several attempts to get satisfaction but after speaking to 3 supervisors I'm getting the same disrespectful acts. I am the insured and I'm trying to get justice before I go to the media

We had a very bad experience while we were buying our home with berkshire in Mount laurel NJ especially with our realtor Anwar Eskaros as he is very tuff and aggressive and not friendly at all and he is a lot of mistakes which is not acceptable. ...first he gave us a couple of houses codes to go by ourselves which is unlegal I think....second he hide some informations from us as we are buyers as he hide the termites certificate until the last day in our attorney contract review !!!!!
Third he didn't attend our closing as he came last 10 minutes and even he didnt apologize....a lot of others mistakes and honestly he is very tuff and he didn't help us a time all just let you know and I will complain him at the board of Realtors in new jersey

Our realtor with Berkshire Hathaway in Mobile Alabama was the worst. She did more for the sellers than us. She didn't show up at our closing because it was too early in the morning. Never thanked us or checked to see how the closing went. Thanks

Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Results Realty Kissimmee Fla. THE WORST COMPANY EVER! horrible staff. We are aware that landlords may charge for any cleaning or repairs necessary. However, landlords may not use our security deposit to cover the costs of ordinary wear and tear. Landlords by law cannot deduct the cost of repainting or replacing carpet from the security deposit for normal wear and tear, or even when the walls and carpet have met the useful life terms. I emailed Debbi Browning to let her know I had documents of professional cleaning. She said it was nothing they could do. The unit was completely clean. THEY WILL DO ANYTHING TO KEEP YOUR MONEY! stay away from this place or you will be sorry. THEY HAVE HORRIBLE service and uneducated people.

Made several calls to a listing agent from BH by the name of Darrell Stirewalt in Hattiesburg Mississippi regarding a residential property, with zero response from this agent, as he appeared to be controlling a property for other buyers. I have purchased several large commercial property's in the Hattiesburg area and Will never call these good ole boys for anything in the future. People like this are not only stupid business people but also have the appearance of being to lazy to return a phone call, the basics!

the agent called me to show my home last minute so i said yes, she said 4- 430 never showed up called 505 pm and said she is not coming today, i live in the home and put my dinner on hold, realtors today can't do the job at hand lazy bunch of people that don't have any info about your home but they want that money, and show people homes they don't have money for.

Scheduled a showing for one of my homes for sale then after not showing up they requested an extension that I reluctantly granted. Failed to show up again and then later posted a review of my home stating that the outside was filthy and they didn't want to go inside. They never showed up and the outside as well as the inside is immaculate.

Kim Moyer did a great job of helping me get a home in a tough market to buy a home!
