sent in my 2.5 year old shotgun just to receive news that it'll cause me $250.00 to repair due to rust in the mechanism. the gun was never abuse nor dropped into any pond or water. gun has always been wiped down and brush thru with gun oil. when i requested for them not to do the work because i'm not willing to give that company any more money and ask for a return on my gun. they said it would take up to 2 weeks to return my gun. when ask for a tracking number to be email to me, customer service said i'll have to call back when they shipped the gun for them to provide that. i've asked them to attached my email so that when the tracking number is generated it would email me. they said they couldn't do that. poor customer service and cheap parts. this is the last time i'll ever buy any browning products

Sent my mint condition O/U to Browning service. It had less than 500 rounds shot through it. It is an older gun that never fired consistently. This made it to dangerous to shoot. It set in the safe for years.
When I finally decided to have it looked at with Browning service, I was informed it needed a total rebuild at a cost of over $500.
After telling me they did not receive the gun, I sent them the billing receipt with the person's name who signed off on it. Another two months go by. They now had it well over six months.
When I finally got it back, it looked like it was thrown in the bottom of a duck blind, I could nor count the scratches & dents in the stock. I asked for my old parts back but, did not receive them. Over $500 for a few springs that I have no proof were even chsnged out. The gun still misfires.
Very disappointed to say the least

I contacted browning customer service to make sure I got the correct scope mount for my new browning rifle.
Who would know best but the dealer right.
Wrong.
They sent me the incorrect number, I ordered it and now I have a scope mount that doesn't fit.
Browning customer service sucks.

I just threw away my fifth Browning camera. One would not shut off and would run down in three hours. One on/off switch failed and would only work upside down. One stopped accepting the SD card and would give a message to insert the SD card. Two had the detector scree crumble. Customer Service said that it was caused by a "wood pecker". The camera was covered in dust so I tried to wipe the lens cover off. My finger went thru the lens cover. Customer Service gave me long list of things on how to get the camera to shut off. Nothing worked. Customer Service's method was to send a letter giving me 30% the next camera. Browning cameras have a 18 month life expectancy. After that, don't expect the camera to last.

If you are looking for a company with good customer service, this is not the one. I would recommend not buying their product if you are expecting customer service.

I bought a pair of new Browning hunting boots from cabelas 2 years ago. I had surgery the following year and never got to wear them so the 2nd year on the 1st day of hunting season I wore them out to the field and the grass was wet from dew and after 15 minutes my feet were soaked. I immediately contacted Browning and because they were over a year old there was nothing they could do I contacted them over and over and over and after about a month they said they would give me a pair of new Browning seat covers for my truck Which were worth $30 less than what I paid for the boots. They told me that they had taken those boots off the market which tells me that obviously they were no good to begin with. I told them unless I could wear the sea covers on my feet for boots that they could take dosea covers and shovel where the sun don't shine. I am almost 60 years old and I remember when Browning's name actually meant something in the hunting world but I'm starting to have my 2nd thoughts and I can guarantee I will never purchase another browning product in my life. Too bad a person couldn't actually talk to someone in management instead of these people at customer service because it's obviously they don't care one way or the other. All of their apparel is made in a 3rd world country and equality is about as poor as it possibly could be. I wrote numerous letters and yet nothing has changed so that's the end for me and Browning.

Bought a .22 buckmark and it wasn't rifled. Out of the box shot wild and dangerous. I had to send it back immediately after buying it on my dime and still haven't gotten it back or even and update. Customer service is crap and I totally got screwed. Dont buy browning anything!

I have a Browning BPS shotgun. The dura-touch finish deteriorated and so they were require to hydrodip a new finish on the gun in compliance with a class action lawsuit. I received the gun back 5 months after sending it in. The pattern on the stock does not match the action and barrel. Edges are ragged and rough. Pin spots in several areas indicating a poor hydro dip. Shell plug reinstalled incorrectly. Sent them pictures for an assessment with specific comments about where my concerns are. They said they won't talk to me without receiving the gun first. Att first they lied saying they didn't get pics because files were too large, which was false. I called them out on the lie and they would not respond. Selling my Brownings.

The stock on my Browning 525 Over/Under 12ga. shotgun cracked along the grain in the wood. Given the fact that I take extremely good care of my guns and this stock didn't have I scratch on it, it was clear that there was a defect in the stock. Browning refused to warrant the defective stock and charged me $722 to replace it. Once I received the gun back the quality of the workmanship was extremely poor with regards to matching the stock to the action. Even the shoulder pad was put on crooked. To add insult to injury, the new stock has a deep scratch on it. I own several Browning rifles & this shotgun but I will never buy another Browning product.

I have been on back order on a forearm for 12 months to make my Silver Hunter 12 gauge functional. At this point, my only recourse is to purchase a different style of forearm AND stock. Spent way too much on this company's products for this kind of customer service and parts.

I sent a brand new Browning Buckmark .22 pistol in for repair. It would no cycle and would jam so bad that I could hardly open the slide. Sent it in and never heard anything from them, except that they had received it. I had to call to see when it would be ready. 30 days goes by. HORRIBLE customer service! When I finally did receive it, it was NO BETTER than when I sent it in. I called them, sent it back with a detailed let asking for a New Pistol or a refund. This was 8 weeks ago. NO ONE has contacted me. I have had to call them. "Your refund is on the way"... For a company as big as Browning is, I am shocked at the level of inconsiderate, poor quality of customer service. At this point I would NOT recommend a Browning firearm to any as a result of this. Too bad.

I own a Browning Buckmark .22 pistol. I have had it 10 years and was always my favorite. I sent it to browning a month ago to have to replace internal parts due to non ejects and other small internal issues. I asked them not to repaint or touch the gun up because although the paint was not in 100% perfect condition it was close and did not need any touch up. I paid them 218 for their work and when I received it I was literally brought to tears for its condition. The paint job was totally destroyed, it looks exactly like someone took a #1 Philips screwdriver to it, Stab and scrap stab and scrap, all over the gun. I counted around 45 gouges in total, and when I say gouge I don't mean a paint scrap I mean deep enough and hard enough that whoever did it cut into the steel of the gun. There was also liquid rust forming on the slide, so what they charged me 215 and didn't even wipe it down after someone spilled water on it?? I am almost OCD with my guns and they are kept safe and clean in a humidity and temp controlled environment. I would say with the physical evidence its impossible to say it was a mistake and the best I can imagine is a disgruntled employee. I called the service department and the guy told me "You just want something for nothing" and "says here the gun was trashed with it came in". He did tell me the package arrived undamaged. I've never been so rudely brushed off by customer service before and I've never had such a serious issue to bring to a company's attention.

I've contacted your company before. I spent a lot of money for one of your a5 slaker models. Nothing but problems. I've accually went to gunsmithing schools. I'm not a young man. I've been around. Your product is worn-out after a 1000 rounds. Tolerances just don't work after that. Bad design. Going back to Remington. They won't let you down.

I purchased a new Browning X-Bolt High Grade Hunter with a fluted barrel (instead of the standard octagon offering) in .270 Win. I ordered medium 1-piece Browning X-Bolt mounts (nothing but BS from your customer service about details on exactly what objective end scope diameter will work but that is another story for later).

The forward most pair of scope base tapped holes in the receiver will ONLY allow the 6-48 (why not 6-40??) screw to makeup 3 turns. Furthermore, with the base in place, the screw only makes up barely TWO turns before it is snug! This is unacceptable.

The other six holes allow a scope mounting screw to makeup 6-1/4 turns. With the base in place, the screw makes up 4-5/8 of a turn.

The forward pair of mounting holes (closest to the muzzle end)are drilled and tapped through. It appears that the center-line of the forward pair is in the same plane as the rear face of the barrel. If the barrel threads had a proper chamfer, perhaps there would be adequate room for makeup for the forward two screws. Having 4 screws per base is a decent idea but if only TWO are functional, how silly is that?

I purchased the 0.50" (medium) bases. One base mikes at .536' and the other mikes at .602". On closer examination, it appears that perhaps a taller base is needed at the rear BUT there is absolutely NO mention of this in the manual and NO instructions come with the mounts! The manual says to properly tighten the screws BUT no torque is specified! The manual says use the proper length screws BUT NO length is specified.

Adding another 25 cents worth of material in the right place on the top of the receiver would have solved all of this. Either that, or changing the placement of the scope mount screws. Why some "engineer" chose a 6-48 thread is just goofy.

This rifle was not cheap. Someone needs to wake up in your engineering department here. I am ready to return this rifle because this whole thing is a can of worms.
Please advise ASAP. Thank you.

Bought BL22II in '06 and never taken apart to clean, bore cleaning not withstanding, now I find it impossible to take the stock group apart from the receiver group! Should be a simple take a screw out and pull apart, but no can do, is there some secret I'm missing?

I just purchased a 1911 380 Black Label handgun. I am somewhat disappointed with the quality of the finish, the slide had some scratches and the finish seems to be thin. I have not fired the weapon yet,so I am not sure of its performance.

I purchased a Browning 725 sporting on November 23 2012. By December 24,2012 it was on its way back to browning because the trigger pulled extremely hard on second shot. Gun was repaired and back to me by febuary 2013. I haven't shot 725 until July 7, 2013 Guess what the same problem started all over again. It also was hard to break open a few times [this was a new problem]. I've owned several citori's and never had these kind of problems in a new shotgun. What gives?

Just got off the phone with customer service and the rep I talked with was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Answered all my questions with a great deal of accuracy. Thanks so much. Note: I think it was either Ryan or Todd.

I had a Bps turkeygun. The durotouch camo had an issue. Customer Service was excellent to deal with. Turn around was less tham two weeks. You are part pf what makes browning first class. Keep up the good work.
