Absolutely Horrible!!! I was unable to get anyone to help me with an overseas fraud on my credit card. The "supervisor" is in the Philippines and doesn't care at all. I'm getting rid of my chase cards and will only use Amex!

I am trying to send a $400 wire from a five-figure Chase account to a domestic bank account. The wire has been rejected 3 times, locking my account 3 times and in 15 phone calls speaking with 19 people no one can tell me why and no one can offer help. I don't know which of the morons I have spoken with are less helpful. I question if chase has the money to cover the $400. All they can say is that I have to find another way to pay my recipient. They have graciously offered a PayPal account (since Chase is incompetent) for a 6% fee ($24) and Chase will not even pay that. They have probably incurred close to $300 in the 5 hours of phone calls that I have made so far. And I am a Sapphire member! When I get the time my only choice is to withdraw my money and find a bank capable of sending a wire.
Lol. Fraud department blocked my small business account. Customer service are a bunch of clueless clowns. Hung up on me. Went to my branch for help. The lady who set up my account reached out Customer service in fraud department. Trying to set up the app to take credit cards. Apparently I did something wrong. They closed my account. No longer will do business with me. What's even better. Can't get MY money from closed account for 10 days!!!. The lady at the bank was in shock. She had no answer and could not get an explanation. Absolutely amazing. Obviously bad day for someone in fraud department. Screw the little guy!. Garbage Customer service. Garbage company.
Worst customer service ever, my account got locked for sending money to my own account! I'm currently overseas, this happend almost 8 months ago. Every week I call twice, every single time they tell me its going to take some time to get unlocked or stay on the line. Also, they hang up on your face!! Horrible terrible service every single time. They told me to visit the nearest branch, but I'm overseas due to covid situation. Absolutely worst of the worst service, imagine a bank like chase where they should help you with your account and my money! Instead they make it impossible to solve the problem. As soon as I activate my count again, im moving all my money and closing my account with chase bank. Honestly I'm shocked of how bad and how difficult they make it for a client to access his/her own account. Imagine almost 8 months to access my account and still no solution! Shocking really!
Not the best by far. I opened a normal checking account, set up direct deposit and deposited $ 100.00. No other transactions were done. Chase locked my account for suspicious activity. Upon calling them, they had me on hold for nearrly an hour to tell me they couldn't help until I went into a branch. Really? They couldn't have told me that in the first five minutes of the call?
They are impossible to get a hold of. I've been trying to reach a "customer support specialist" for over 4 hours. Literally, 4 hours. They also always say expected wait time is "over 50 minutes". There is no queue, so who is even in front of me? I believe they have about 2-3 people working. When someone answered the phone, they would hang up on me without warning, and I would have to wait another 80 minutes just to be hung up on again. They also refuse to give me extension numbers and keep routing me to the wrong departments.
Ronnie Bruno has zero bank knowledge as well as professionalism. The most simplest questions were not answered by her and she had to ask her coworkers. Apparently she is the bank manager in the East Northport branch or so she claims. She doesn't act nor does she dress the part.
Chase is the worst bank in terms of fraud management, a fake check was drawn on my account twice and the careless bank paid the same cheque number twice, they put me on hold for several minutes transferring me from one representative to the other, at the end of the day closed down my account without total refund of the full amount illegally drawn on the account. Bank with chase bank at your own peril.
Chase bank is the largest by assets but it really is a horrible bank to deal with.
I think that they are arrogant enough to disregard customers complaints and basically don't care. I lost my Debit card on Dec 8th and reported it two days later. I was told a new card would be sent to me in a plain white envelope to be received within 3 to 5 days. It's now Dec 27th and still no sign of this card.
Twice I have called and Chase/India says it will be there tday or even tomorrow,
I told the customer agent that Citibank ca send a replacement debit card by Fedex in two days. This agent told me I could have had it sent via UPS for $10.00!!
If I would have know I would have had it sent for a measly $10.00. But I dont want Chase to worry about it as we are mere premier custom!! But they sure know how to reward their top executives,Sir Jamie Dimon will probably get a $10-15 Million Xmas Bonus this year?
they are f****** trash, locked my account for no reason and them made me change my password and username before I can give get my account back, but when I said "no Ill do that later", the m*****f****** account my account again right after I got it back. f****** the worst customer service I've every had.
I'm am unable to log in my account.Site tells me every time I need to change the password and I need a onetime code.Incidentally the code never arrives,customer service is unpredictable and spotty.Totally frustrating.Thinking of changing Banks after all the years that I have been with them.
The bank will lock your account for no reason. You try to fix that. Local branch is too busy to take your call. They will talk to you by appointment only, next week if you lucky. So you call the 800 number. You are on hold for 58 minutes. Then you get a guy in India - heavy accent and the phone constantly breaking up. After about 2 hours of answering all kind of questions and a parade of incompetence, negligence and total lack of basic care, the problem is fixed. And it only took 2 days and about 3 hours of my time.
Oh, don't ever exchange foreign currency at this bank - they will rob you blind.
So this is not a bank, but a disgraceful pathetic institution. AVOID like a plague.
Worst bank besides Suntrust! I moved to where there is no local branch. A phone representative told me to drive 3.5 hours to go to a branch! Tries to wire funds to close on a house!!!!!.....they rejected the wire to the title company due to potential fraud....I almost lost the house!!!!! HORRIBLE!!!!!! They also NEVER answer the phone!!!
Chase you are horrible. I have tried twice now to get my password reset and I am being told they can't help me and I have to drive 5 hours to the nearest branch. Your customer service isn't allowed to give me a OTP or help me reset it. You only provide 1 branch in the whole state of arkansas or we have to drive 5 hours away. Thank you for NOT HELPING ME AND PROVIDING HORRIBLE SERVICE. I am on the phone for 20 mintues and then I am hung up on.
Called Chase to check on a domestic wire that was returned. My other bank stated Chase deducted $50 from the transaction. Called Chase to check on the charge. The representative sounded like they were from an Indian call center. Was not friendly at all. Customer service was really bad kept replying back that I was repeating the same things.
