The turntable in my DACOR microwave-convection oven stopped working. It was under warranty. Our salesperson - who has been great - said DACOR customer service would call me. They did and asked me to describe whether a certain part was plastic or metal. He said he would send a replacement part...as though from the phone call he knew the problem. The wrong part was sent. A different company texted me to schedule a service call. They seemed to have no clue about the part issue. They scheduled a date and then cancelled it because no service people were available. When I inquired about the part issue...again through texting (not impressive), they directed me to "DACOR's customer service center." Turns out it is a call center in the Philippines. I could not understand the woman because it was so noisy with all the other call center employees talking. Over and over again I asked her to repeat herself. Finally, I asked for a supervisor. Took forever to be connected with one. Nice guy but....he asked me to send him a photo of the part that needs replacing. How do I know? I am not the service technician. This has been nothing short of ridiculous. And I still sit here with a non-functioning microwave. I am just off the phone with the salesman to start this whole process over again.
