I cannot believe that Difinitive is not standing behind their products.regardless of buy outs ,mergers,and re-structuring ,any brand name faces immenant doom with poor consumer relations and entire lines of faulty sub-par equipment .especially at the current price point and with other new names waiting to take the stage .it pains my ears to know that the sound I love may very well be a thing of the past .

my sub woofer from Definitive Tech model W studio stopped working. After trouble shooting with a rep it was determained that it was defective. I was given an incident number and told a rep would be in contact with me with in a few days. They didn't. I called back 2 weeks later to get another rep who assured me that someone would be in touch for sure this time. That weren't. Today I called again, finally got through only to be told the agent that needs to help me is too busy. I need to call back. I tried to send an e mail about the matter to their website. It would not go through. What really gets me is their tech support was really good at first, now, about 3 years later its worse than horrible. What happened???? Bottom line,,, pick another product. from another company.

I purchased a Definitive Tech Pro Sub 1000 Subwoofer over 10 years ago, brand new. It was expensive, but complimented my system. I have a Yamaha YSP-4000 sound bar. I used the sub with mediocre quality for a decade before I started having problems. I sent the sub away for repair. It needed a power amp module which was replaced. When I got it back it was outstanding and had way way more bass than it ever had before. I told the company, to which no reply. Beware of sub-standard new equipment from DT

I own several DT systems bought a set in early 2000 product was great and good customer support. I have been trying to get parts for a product I bought in 2018 still under warranty. the order was placed in May 2020 i still did not get anything from them and I keep calling every month and I am on hold for more than 40 min. before some one picks up, always the same person and nothing gets done

Poor Customer Service and quality control on the Def. Tech. Studio Micro W 3.1 soundbar. Rude and unfriendly customer service! I have had (3) Micro W soundbars.
Two of them I have had not but trouble and just quit working! I advise not to purchase their products they are technical junk!!!

Terrible customer service! Rude non-professional and dis-courteous!It's a wonder they are still in business . . . Poor quality control leading to many defects!Had to wait forever on the phone!

When you do select to have a rep call you back after calling their customer support number they hang up on you as soon as you answer. The soundbar we spent more on compared to other products because of how the Best Buy sales agent was plugging it does not work, we can't get service on it and at this point is a complete loss. I would highly advise NOT PURCHASING ANY PRODUCT WITH DEFINITIVE TECHNOLOGIES NAME ON IT!!

This company has total contempt for its customers. There is virtually no customer support. I have called their support line five times and have been told to leave my phone number. But nobody calls you back. I finally got an email after about a week that didn't fix the problem. I emailed back but of course got no response. I am thinking of writing to Best Buy to advise them to stop selling Definitive products.

Have been waiting for weeks for my replacement w serious speaker system.
I'm being told it's an IT issue and there is nothing leaving the warehouse. So I'm without a system and out the money I spent. Not real happy at the moment with this company.
