Note:The Power go out at the wind blowing from the North 99% of time the tree limbs rubbing against power wire lines, like of maintenance. Why is every customer paying for this service when there no maintaining being done thorough out Baton Rouge Area. Power Outage when wind blows

they have owed me over $200 for more than a month now and even tho i have called twice to check on it and verify they do in fact have all my correct information each person I spoke with gave me a different date and a different policy and procedure as to why it hasn't arrived yet. The first person told me it was sent out on the 13th of September. The second person told me it was sent out in two separate checks and the sixth and seventh of October m. September 9th we stopped service with them but we paid in advance so at they owed us for what we didn't use. We are now about to move into November, still have not received a check and now they're telling me to wait till the 17th before I can file a complaint and at that point we would have to wait another 30 days for them to cancel the first check that never arrived before they could send the next one and have another 60 days to run us around. I'm still unable to find the policies and procedures online through their website regarding refund checks. THIS COMPANY IS STEALING MONEY! BE CAREFUL!

I have partial solar, all lcd, turn off everything in site and bill goes up. Screwing the customer is priority 1 for these idiots. I just spent $700 for backup electric power. What is wrong with this picture?

It is truly sad that there are no storms and it's scorching outside and folks that pay their bill on time or early have no lights. Y'all really need to make serious changes. Entergy borderline stinks but I bet your gonna keep making billions by jacking up peoples bill even when they lose power. It's no fun to flip a switch and nothing happens when you've paid your bill but you get no credits or thank you'd or anything. I think people should go solar and shut you down!!!

Entergy customer service is ridiculously horrible. No one on the same page about anything. Cut off power in July and been almost a week trying to get them to turn it back on. Were supposed to just change name and the 8 different peopIve spoken with have no clue why it's not on or know when someone will be there to turn it on. Just keep saying they see a work order. No help at all! No water or electricity due to being on a well and no one knows anything. Wish there was an alternative in my area. I'd pay more to have a different company than these clowns. Completely ridiculous!

Terrible company if there was any other option for service I'd take it but sadly there isn't. I stay in a duplex style apartment. There are 2 power meters on top of each other (one for me and one for my neighbor) on the building. I work away from home on 24 and 48 hour shifts. I'm only home around 12 days in the month. When I'm gone everything is shut off. When summer started I noticed my bill getting higher and higher (the latest one is $270!!) and I called to get someone out to check the meter physically because there's no way that was correct. Well they came out and deemed everything was fine. So I started looking around myself and found that if I flipped the shut off to what should be my meter my neighbors power cuts off. And if I flip his my power cuts off. So the meters are obviously crossed and I'm paying my neighbors power bill. Cool. Called on the 14th and made an appointment for someone to come out and confirm the issue. Got a confirmation email and everything saying a tech would be out on the 19th. Called back today (the 18th) to see if I could get a time for tomorrow and I was told there was no appointment scheduled and got told they could make me an appointment for the 21st. So I ask to speak with a supervisor since I've already taken tomorrow off work because I'd like to be there when the tech comes and I'd like to get this resolved before I end up paying someone else's bill again. When I ask for a supervisor the representative hangs up on me. Call back and somebody different who connects me with s supervisor only to be told that nothing could be done and I'd have to wait till the 21st. Company is absolutely terrible the reps don't know what they're doing and don't care enough help you resolve your issues. I pray that one day we have a better option for power In Louisiana.

This freaking company.

Our power went out at 11:30pm, we were initially told it would be back on at 1:30am. Then 3:11am. Now 5:30am.

I went into town for food and passed the Entergy truck SITTING AT A FREAKING WALMART. Their power was on and never actually went out. When I called and explained this, I was told "The technicians don't let us know what are they're working in". Freaking JOKE of a company and even worse customer service.

The monopoly on electricity in areas needs to freaking end.

Apparently I've had the misfortune of moving to one of the only places in the Houston area where you're stuck with one company and it's this one. The service is awful. There are regular outages and good luck getting any updates when they happen. But you can bet that bill will still be coming and no, there won't be any sort of credit for the fact that you're not getting the service you're paying for. If you call in, good luck finding a way to get to a human as it appears the phone tree is designed to prevent that. Long story short, if Entergy is the only electric provider, don't move there. I never would have thought I would move over an electric company, but they proved me wrong and now I'm going to move away from an otherwise very nice area because of them.

We get the worst service from energy Mississippi. Our power is out at least every two months . My address is 5438 Tatum pond road Tillatoba ms 38961. We are a rural area that is 75% minority ( black ) community . We are always last to get our power restored. We have been out of power for 9 hours this time . We are being discriminated because we are a minority community. We ate down more than any are in Mississippi. Check your records , it will show what is going on . Very dissatisfied with our service.

Going 3-7 days without power while they put one or two trucks on a problem that is an emergency that deserves a ten-twenty man crew. They don't seem to understand that no power is a health hazard and an emergency. they don't give credits for the emergency outages that last for days and this happens on a monthly basis at this point. Why don't they update these power lines properly so they can be maintained correctly?

Attempting to get connected to Entergy as we have no choice if we want power. Currently we are being told our connection is on hold for permitting. I spoke to the city and based on our address there is no permitting. Even after relaying this information to customer service our account still shows a work order submitted and work will be completed 12/6/2023 - six months to switch the power that is already metered and was working when my builder was building home. What a terrible service. Please give us more choice of energy providers.

My lights were cut off in neighborhood and they gave me no apparent reason. We did mot have downed lines or trees from storm. The lady I spoke with couldnt find a reason. I called 3 times yesterday starting at 10:30 Am. And numerous times online. Our streets have lights everywhere except on Beeson past Tolliver. Two truck were out yesterday in neighborhood around 3 pm and left. Did not restore our lights. There are several houses here without lights. My stuff has a thawed in the refrigerator and I would imagine my water well will have to be primed to pump water.You are saying 8 pm to restore power today. That is way too long for people and an area without problems.You cut us off around 10 AM yesterday. 1 day and 10 hours is your est. To restore. Thank you.

Been waiting 6 months for a transformer which finally came in 2 weeks ago. Now they have no idea where or when I will get my meters for a commercial job of 37 needed meters.

I spend multiple hours a week in the dark because of how incompetent Entergy and it's teams are. I live in the Cushman, AR, area and have to be without power at least once a week, usually more for whatever reason could be possible. They always take all day to fix the problem and it seems to be always when I'm home and off for the day that I have to deal with this company's laziness and BS. Absolutely ridiculous, I'm once again without power right now. Entergy and their linemen are the biggest bumbling idiots I've ever seen or they just completely do not care about doing the job right. I will spend 4+ hours a week in the dark because of these incompetent fools.

My lights have been off since 3 p.m. yesterday!!!!!!!!! Obviously there was a power outage that got fixed but my lights are still off! I've called numerous times only to be told that my lights are the only ones out and won't be back on until 8 a.m.!!!!!! Why haven't a entergy truck come out to my residence to see what the issue is?????????

I spoke with a customer service representative om April 6th and she was very rude. She got on the phone with an attitude from the very beginning. The first representative was very cordial but I asked to speak with a supervisor and was transferred to a lady named Kim. After she got short with me and got short with her because as someone who also works in customer service I know you don't speak to customers that way. We went back and forth and she hung up on me. I could understand if I were the one who started the conversation on the wrong foot but as I stated she came on the line with an attitude. As a supervisor she should know better.

Have Entergy Arkansas. Have never had so many power outages in my life. Every windy day. Or sometimes does fine on severely windy days only to go out the first nice pretty still day. I have more outage report texts from Entergy than I do texts from friends and family in my phone. Many days it flickers all day which is terrible for electronics or working from home.

Entergy contracts in Louisiana should be reevaluated or terminated. Bills continue to increase no matter what season it is, no matter how less you use the main sources of electricity in your home such as heater, air conditioner, electric dryers. There is no true customer serive as no one takes the inflation of these bills seriously. They are not for communities they service at all!!

I have been requesting a security light for over a year now. I spoke with a representative and a supervisor who were both extremely rude to me. The supervisor basically told me in so many words that they don't have time for that. I understand other task take priority, but it's been 14 months of me begging for this security light installation.

My Entergy digital meter caught fire in December and almost burned my storeage shed down. Now they want to charge me for electricity on the non existent meter. My daughter has tried to explain to them the absurdity of the situation to no avail. My next step is to file a complaint with the bbb and get a lawyer to intervene.

I am a property manager in New Orleans. A field technician contacted me alerting me that he had an order to turn off the gas in one of the buildings that I manage. I was confused because I wasn't sure that we had a gas meter in the building. After much research, conversation with his supervisor and weeding through the previous tenants' accounts this technician solved our problem and found answers for the origin of this meter. His name is Craig Bartholomew and his supervisor is Paul Coari. These two employees of Entergy went way above and beyond what was expected of them and provided amazing assistance that exhibited a level of service that, unfortunately, is very rarely seen these days. It was much more than just a job to them....they cared. As a manager I am extremely impressed by their performance and I hope someone in Entergy's management team reads this review and rewards these two men for their outstanding service and performance for the company.

So, a pole fell and lit the backyard on fire. The young man that came out here from Entergy was very nice, even thought I was a bit impatient. I appreciate his courtesy.

The crew dropped the pole in the ground nad the wires strung, power on, within an hour. Bless them.

We just had a great experience with Entergy.
Our power had dropped. Our AC was dead, and it was HOT!!!
I filled out the online report and in less than an hour, I was firing up the AC

I Have Been Requesting My $86 Dollar Refund Since January 4th And I Have Yet To Receive It. I Have Called Numerous Times And Atp My Hands Are Tied! Only Thing I Get Is 2 To 6 Weeks. Three Weeks Ago I Got A 7 To 14 Business Day Sent By A Manager. At Least That Wascwhat The Agent Was Relaying To Me. Entergy Not Only Are The Lights Out, I Cant Get The Money That I Am Rightgully Owed. In The Blink Of An Eye Your Loghts Will Be Disconnected But My Refund Can Not Be Received. Its Been 6 Months Entergy, Really?? If I Needed Services I Bet You Guys Would Put The $86 On My Account Immediately. Gots To Do Better.

A Star Customer Service Representative Experience: This morning I called into Entergy Louisiana at 8:23am. I was greeted by an amazing human being! She was engaging, refreshing, and pleasant first thing in the morning. She resolved all my questions, concerns, and matters needed today. Unfortunately, when I was attempting to take the brief survey, I was not close to my phone to select the 5's she deserved, the automated survey hung up. I tried everything to remember what she told me her name was, I even called back to see if another representative could look it up, but she couldn't. In a world of automation and technology, she connected and brought humanity back to customer service. I am grateful to have spoken to her at the start of my day. Kudos to Entergy for hiring such a light in a world of haze and busyness. I am working on remembering names for all my interactions. This representative should be rewarded. Thank you!

Entergy is good about letting me know when I have an outage. They are slow at fixing them over the last year or so and the power outages seem more frequent. I don't know if they are or they just seem that way because it takes Entergy longer to fix them than it used to. I am currently without power and have been since last night and the only update I get is that Entergy is aware and will fix it as soon as possible. I understand that there's a hurricane affecting people right now and am trying to not be selfish. But you would think Entergy would leave some assets locally to fix problems here. Overall I don't have many complaints about Entergy, just their lack of timeliness in fixing power outages.

Entergy in Baton Rouge does an amazing job of keeping customers informed of outages and always seems to get us back on before the time given - obviously would always wish my bill was lower than it is but compared to 4 other states I've lived in, this is the lowest rate for electricity - nice!

As a customer of Entergy thanks to the crews for their work on New Years Day in Grenada Ms. Power out at 2am and restored at 3:30 pm. A long day but on a holiday with power poles down thanks to those who was out there. Most don't have a clue what it takes to do the job.Thanks again!!

I cannot give my name as I am a current Entergy employee. First off I will start by saying that as a company, Entergy does only what the local Public Service Commission allows. So if you don't like additional deposits, or deposit amounts, that is not a complaint for Entergy, as the Public Service Commission permits Entergy for those amounts and regulates Entergy's rates and storm rider increases. Secondly, your services are never disconnected the next day after failing to pay a bill. So complaints that state this are simply liars. Entergy releases a bill with 3 weeks to pay it. After that due date is passed by 5 BUSINESS DAYS a disconnect notice is issued with 5 MORE BUSINESS DAYS to pay before being disconnected. Furthermore, any additional deposits added to accounts are done so by permission of the PSC as well as are the customer's own fault for not paying on time. I understand certain complaints here are legit, but most of them are caused by the customers themselves.
