Why isn't something being done to regulate Eversource's outrageous prices???? I was charged $400 for one month when I wasn't even using my washer and dryer because the washer didn't work, and I wasn't cooking so I didn't use the oven or stove, and I had all the lights off when I wasn't in certain rooms...obviously Connecticut's officials are being paid a lot of money to look the other way....it's greed at its finest by both parties!!!! Hopefully they all go to hell as soon as possible!!!!!

These people are thieves. Delivery charge is more than usage. I will kick these jerks to the curb in one month. There should be a serious investigation into the blatant theft from the consumers of CT

I've come to hate Eversource. Greedy bastards! My bill after the double price hike, from 300, should have been 600 dollars. But since January, it has been 1500 a month!
I hate the guts of this company, running my household to the ground! I'm switching and never looking back! Will join any class auction suit against this awful company!

Emailed and mailed the deliqquish 3/10/23 and mailed 3/11/23 now 3/23/23 as Eversource requested still in the governors hardship program. My electric bill because of governors change has nearly doubled. Retail suppliers can not help me because Eversource blocked my acct. CAN ANYONE HELP?

Days have gone by still paying Eversource 24.72 a KW I feal like a hostage or being discriminated. Why does it take Eversource so long to update me as not a hardship as Governor said? I am nor a hardship and never was. Recent bill $426.00 vs $370.00 month. Die to Eversource 24.72.

Watch out. CT gov Lamont issued about 4 $25 credits through Eversource March through June 2023. Lamont associated many as a hardship and proceeded. A Scam? Eversourse then tells your supplier to shut down your acct. Which they do.

Now after many calls to Eversource and my supplier said I don't qualify for another supplier cause I get financial aid. Kw 24.72 vs 13.1 I had. Eversource says they will email me the cancel the hardship form to sign within 72 hours. 8/7/2022 Eversource had me listed as getting financial aid and shut down my supplier it took me 4 months to rectify Eversource's error. There was no financial aid. Seems all to assist $$$$ to Evetsourse to me.

I will never forget getting that exhorting bill from this awful company. I barely have 500 sq ft and they hit me for $350. I'm never home. I switched companies immediately, like anyone would. I'll never go back to them.

I am so done with eversource i been trying to f pay my account balance but can't my debit card doesn't work for them my account number doesn't work either how the f are they are helping me my bill is so frickin high and they can only say sorry i demand for them to do something about it i am done i don't even know if they are fake at this point they take forever to answer the phone because they have a big long line of people who want help and they half-arse them i am so mad that i don't even care for my beautiful french.

Disgusting that Eversource raises rates 100% as natural gas is hitting new lows 3.30 today from 9.30 5 months ago. I chose another energy supplier but my bill from you for January was 412 versus 147 the month before. Starts February. No one in Connecticut willl ever talk fondly of your company and the way you treat Weston Connecticut especially after storms makes you the worst utility there is.

So frustrating. Eversource applied our electric payment to our gas account then turned off our electric for lack of payment. Their Customer Service is terrible. An endless string of options that leads you nowhere. I just need to speak to someone who can fix this. I have tried a multiple occasions over several weeks and get frustrated every time.

Please stop saying that NH is finding the assistance that is now needed because of Eversource doubling the rates overnight.

The people of NH that do not qualify for assistance, now are not only paying these prices BUT we also have to pay more in taxes to provide assistance.

Unlike the people who have contracts with other electricity providers that also co tributes to the doubling e of rates!

June 22,2022 my husband and I paid our 340.00 on the payment plan 7 days earlier but was wondering why it didn't show on our bank. We received a letter stating the payment was returned because of the wrong banking number well when I called about this eversource had the wrong debit card number. Well we had to pay 185.00 to stay on the payment plan. How is that our fault. WE are 66 years old and don't have that kind of money. It was eversource's error not ours.

Eversource seems to be purposefully obstructing my installation of a solar system on my property. Our solar project was approved and interservice agreement signed & submitted to Eversource on June 30 2022. Solar installation was completed on my house and building inspection passed by July 27 at which point Eversource was contacted for SmartMeter installation and attachment to the grid.

At that point Eversource began delay and obstruction of the process. First they demanded that we pay $6000+ additional dollars for equipment upgrades when our system only seemed to run .66KW over the limit. Then when we agreed and PAID this amount, they came back and declared that we would need to replace the entire electrical pole. This pole is one from the street (property of Eversource) and they are now saying we have to replace the entire pole even though the existing pole already delivers electricity to our home. This will cost us thousands more dollars on top of our existing solar and infrastructure investment (designed only to make us more energy efficient and decrease carbon emission.)

In addition, Eversource has been extremely slow to communicate on this matter, often not answering questions at all, or waiting days/weeks to answer. We have invested 50k+ in this project and just want it turned on so we can stop burning coal/oil money and our own dollars on inefficient energy. It is 4 weeks since the bulding inspector passed our system and Eversource continues to drag the process and ask for more and more money to upgrade equipment that is their responsability.

This treatment of Massachusetts most energy conscious citizens is outrageous.
It is folks like us that should be treated with the most respect, deference and alacrity by the utility and it seems we are hearing the opposite.

SHAME ON THEM. WE PAID THEM, FINISH THE DANG JOB.

Eversource charges far too much for their service that is forced upon you. They charge more in fees then the amount of electricity used and yet their fees and rates keep going up. It's awful and their CEO should be ashamed for taking advantage of people. Especially the elderly. They even have the audacity to some how set boundaries on how many solar panels one can place on their homes to escape their horrendous fees. If I could choose another provider I would. I'm looking at moving just so I no longer have to give them another dime. When looking at a new home do yourself a favor and ask who the electric provider is, if it's eversource keep looking, look in a different town.

I would give zero stars if it were possible. Never have we had an electric company (forced upon us I might add) that was so thoroughly terrible. Their rates are astronomical and their customer "service" is deplorable in the extreme. In 17 years of living here and having PSNH I never had any of the issues that we have had to deal with with eversource in a matter of months. The very first bill we received was over $400 for a month and we knew something was seriously wrong. It took repeated phone calls before they admitted they had "misread the meter" and rectified the situation. About a year ago, they again overcharged us $30. and a lady on the phone admitted we did not owe it, and it would be removed. It never was. It's been a year and dozens of phone calls and broken promises and every bill still reflects that $30., and every month we write a note on the bill and pay the bill BUT NOT THE $30. Despite all of this, it's still on every bill.
We called them several times over electrical lines laying on top of tree branches right over our driveway (car), and they have never done a thing or returned a car. We also called them because the spot where all the lines are connected and go into the house is just above and inches away from a LEADED, diamond paned casement window. When you open the window, there is a chance it will come in contact with the live wires. Someone could get hurt. They have never returned calls about this either or done a damn thing.
We have had a job loss. Previously we have never once been late with payment, and they sent a nasty note saying we had to pay the bill by such and such a date or we would also have to pay a deposit! Seriously??? First of all if we can't pay the bill, how can we pay a deposit in addition to that? Secondly, We owed a total of less than $200. Surely they have real deadbeats that owe tons more that they could spend their time dunning.
Go online and check out the salaries of the top mucky-mucks at Eversource---It's public record. These guys make MILLIONS per year plus benefits.
It is appalling that we have no choice in this society of several energy companies to choose from. We have filed at least 4 formal complaints with the State of New Hampshire against Eversource and of course nothing is ever done.
If there was any way to choose another power company we would, or better yet, get off the grid completely. The system is corrupt and stinks to high heaven, and Eversource is the WORST!I

I needed a tree taken down that was growing into the power line. The men arrived on time, dropped the line and offered to help us take down the tree. The task was completed safer and more efficiently with their expertise.

Greg, Norwalk, Ct., Gas Division Street Supervisor, Responed to our last minute call to raise a curb box for a Asphalt Paving project scheduled for the following week. The crew was dispached and arrived shortly after and were very polite and friendly to accommodate us, and had the knowledge, equiptment and materials to complete the work request. All of the Employees of Eversource were helpful. Thank you.
