I am VERY interested in bringing a civil lawsuit against GreenDot/Walmartmoneycard.
My money was held hostage for almost 3 weeks. There are only 2 ways to try and contact anyone to try and get assistance. EVERY agent I chatted with online as well as those I spoke to on the phone were extremely rude. They were only interested in giving me the same information over and over and over. They refused to listen, and when I tried to explain why their resolution wasn't working or, asked a question I was told that I refused to cooperate, and was being unreasonable. Then the chat was disconnected or they hung up on me. This included Supervisors, managers, and basic Tier 1 agents. I was left on hold for 2 hours at a time only to be hung up on. I got absolutely zero help and they wouldn't budge on sending me a replacement card to replace the replacement card that they claimed was at the post office and I needed to check with the ones (plural) in my area and retrieve my card. Since I was unwilling to help myself they would send another replacement that takes another 15+ days to arrive. That is just the tip of the iceberg.

I would love to speak to the person who mentioned the lawsuit and hope that even though that comment was left over a year ago someone will give him my email so he can contact me. The only reason these companies get away with outrageous treatment of customers is because no one will take the steps to make them accountable, so, they do whatever they want.
Green Dot/Walmart's actions are at the very least, in some cases, criminal. Everyday, people all over the country refuse to shop in the store, and deposit money into a Green Dot account, That number gets larger each day. Alone we can't do battle with such a large corporation, but together we can make them pay the price for their egregious behavior.

Worst customer service I've ever experienced I'm currently on the phone for 1 hour 18 minutes waiting on disputes dept.to answer and this is my 3rd call of over an 1 hour waiting!! Pathetic

I have never fought so hard to get MY money from a bank as hard as I have fought these people. Sent a picture of my ID in 4 FOUR friggin times and was told that my account would be reactivated on Monday Feb 27th. Here it is the 27th and I had to RESUBMIT my photo ID AGAIN. And I have to wait two days for the fraud department to check the pics and make sure they can see my ID clearly. I am calling a lawyer on Wednesday, March 1st if the account isn't reactivated. And I'll also be call FDIC on them. They are holding my money hostage cause supposedly I made a fraudulent charge of $0.00 on Google.

Hello Everyone my name is KeeKee. I have a little legal knowledge and I too have funds being held hostage by green dot. I have researched our rights and we can file a civil lawsuit even though we may reside in different states. It is no cost and everyone has the same access to handling their personal case. I reside in Texas, if you are interested in more details there will be information below. What most people don't know is that to bring a corporation to public focus only requires a petition containing 3000 signatures. I hope to hear from you. I began this petition one week ago because after sending ID, letters for resident lease proof and still no response. I am now homeless because my last paycheck has been held for over six months. What they are doing is allowing the monthly fees to consume my money. I began with around $398 and am currently at $305.

GREEN DOT STOLE MY MONEY! They blocked my account without telling me why and now they don't have any intention to unblocked and give me my money back! I have lost my doctors appointment and my baby's appointment because that was the money that I need it for my pregnancy.

This isn't the first time this has happened but I used my overdraft and I got charged the $15 before the 24 hours was up and it was like three or four times and it wasn't even 24 hours yet and I called and the guy hung up on me and he told me that I'd use my card 10 times already that I couldn't and I only used it like three or four times and it's always the same man that he wouldn't transform me to a supervisor and he hung up on me and he's done this before and they said they were going to refund the money which I know it was going to go on there anyway you know in a few hours you know but that's not the point you know I woke up in the morning and it was already on there and it hadn't even been 24 hours yet so I just wanted to comment about that thank you my name is Ivy Lee montsinger Gallegosmy phone number is 520-771-4634 thank youI also want to say that I finally got through to another person which I've had her before as well and she said it would take 24 hours for me to get credited and the 15th of the $45 or whatever it was and I just I don't understand why they just couldn't reverse the charges there and this has happened before that they say they credit my account but they don't I added up and it doesn't it doesn't add up my account hasn't added up for a while I would like to seek an attorney on this but I was going to give you know someone the chance to call me back you know and ask him why my account is being tampered with the way it is and why I'm not getting you know the services that everybody else is getting and it's like somebody's monitoring you know my account you know like it's personal or something and you know I know where the call center is and I know the people that are calling they're answering my calls you know they're here local so it's just really really disturbing that I'm being put under a microscope like this and you know my money is used as whatever you know they take it or they you know they don't ever put it back I have had credits that haven't even gone into my account but they said it says on my account yes it has but it hasn't cuz I added up and it doesn't make sense you know somebody's mixing numbers here moving them around so I was just giving you a chance to call me back you know to let me know what was going on and whether I get your call or not is that remains to be seen

Why do you refuse to change or correct my login info the number and email were changed but not by me then I try to login nope so I call xuxxing phillipines and they can't change it they said I have to log in to do it well genius how the fxxk can I do that when you won't do your job ! And I cant dispute any of the missing funds because they need transactional information only available online when you LOGIN fxxxing changed the email finally for me I was told to wait 2 to 3 hours for it to be updated so I did and when it says chose were to send validation code only option is a phone number that is NOT mine and the email address well since they use xxxxxxx.ccom and block all but the first and last letter it looks like they are also illiterate and cant spell or they created the gmail account to accommodate the seemingly purposeful misspelling of my email to use themselves so I will be filing a complaint with FDIC's secretary of state office of the comptroller of the currency CFPB AND BBB ..... FxxKNBULLSxxT Asx BANK

I'm still waiting for my account ! I have you on complaint bizz as well everywhere on social media
Also it will be on the news ! I still have my account numbers and card number as well and how much you blocked on me , due to this I lost my home my car and I've been sick with my Ms ! I will also let them know how it was deposited wrong by mistake and you just lock me out , card ending in ! How can you let a 55 year old be homeless Lise everything your cold harded as well my friends will bring telling there friends !!! When you go to the store and deposit on the card it's okay but make a direct deposit on it by mistake and your holding me back

As well I left for call backs and no call back and your staff is cold hearted this is wrong , can't wait to see you sued fir how many times now , your bank is rip offs , and as my friends will tell there. Complaints how you took there deposit as well !!! I want a call from someone ceo or someone who can give my money !!!

Really needs to answer the phone and instead of them cutting my old card off it's still active and my stimulus went on the old one and now I can't access my funds

This is the worst company they tell you how to spend your money I rented a car the car company did not ask for a deposit green dot did . The other thing is they blocked my acct and said another company put the block and the other company said they didn't so who is lying I have enough to deal with and there are other companies that don't charge you a month fee to have the card and 3.00 service charge everytime you withdraw monies and the other thing they barely speak English so you can't understand the answer they are giving you and all customer service is overseas where they pay almost nothing but charge us high prices they are making money hand over fist

This is the By far THE WORST CARD TO EVER USE ! I got my unemployment sent to this card and GREEN DOT thinks they have the right to block it for no damn reason ! And when calling the stuoid customer service you CANNOT GET THREW ! And if you do then you cant understand a single word they are saying, then they so happen to just hang up on you! I have MYYYYYYY MONEY ON THERE CARD ITS BEEN OVER A WEEK THAT THEY HAD IT BLOCKED AND I CANT TOUCH A PENNY ! DO NOT WAIST YOUR TIME WITH THESE PPL .

I need to use my card to pay my insurance but you restricted my card to only in store purchase
I got the card only to pay my insurance Ava was not told I could not pay by phone or on line ! I want my money or I will file a complaint with the BBB to local Pasadena chapter of the chamber of commerce

I am very satisfied with greendot and their customer service representative. I have had fraudulent activities one my card and every time i reached out to them i have had money returned to my account. I love my greendot bank.
