I made a reservation at your hotel in Memphis,TN for 3pm on line after no early check-in, I still had to wait an extra 45 minutes for the room. The clerks were VERY RUDE about it!! If the on-line time is 3pm,the hotel should ensure a 3pm check-in.

On March 1st I called and booked a room for my wife and my self seeing it was her birthday surprise. I was very specific about the room I wanted which was a jacuzzi for us to sit and relax in and something romantic. We got to our room in Grove city Columbus Ohio at 11:00 pm. We went up to our room and I almost passed out looking at what was called a jacuzzi suite! This tub, I couldn't even fit in let alone me and my wife! We traveled 40 min to get to this place, we paid 209$$!!!! Not only was this room nothing more than a regular room with a bath tub with jets, it was also seriously dirty with a pubic hair in the tube😡. I went down stairs and requested a refund which the manager gave me. This room was AWEFUL!!!!!! I have to tell you it will be a long day before I try another holiday inn.

I Am A Platinum Elite Member And This Is By Far The Worst Holiday Inn I Have Ever Stayed In. Little Rock Arkansas. They Did Not Tell Me When I Checked In That There Was No Laundry Available, Tuesday Night There Was No Hot Water I Had To Call And Then Wait 30 Plus Minutes, One Elevator When I Tried To Get To My Room Thursday And Im Staying On The 8th Floor, For Three Days They Have Not Replaced The Keurig Coffee That I Used And Items In The Bathroom, When I Finally Get To My Room Today Batteries Were Stolen From An Open Package I Left Sit On My Desk. This Is Unexcusable Behavior. Your Response To These Issues Will Determind Whether I Ever Choose A Holiday Inn Express Ever Again. Im Staying In Room 822 I Need To Know Who Cleaned My Room For The Last Three Days, They Deserve To Be Fired I Am Done With This Hotel Chain Forever I Spend Thousands Of Dollars A Year Over The Last 3 Plus Years Unbelievable How That Can Be Ruined In 1 Stay With Multiple Customer Service Issues Theft Being The By Far The Worst Check It And See Rewards Club Number

I didnt want to place this where everyone could see it, but due to the lack of email address here we are
...Our travel team stays at your hotel once a month. Our last visit was jan 10th. On the 11th i was the only one to eat the hotel breakfast cheese omelette and gravy. I was the only one to come down with a violent food poisoning. Just letting you know so the problem can be fixed. Still not sure we are coming back. I lost 2 days of work due to it.

Holiday Inn Richmond, Ky assigned our FIVE night reservation to a PET ROOM/FLOOR WITHOUT our requesting a pet room. My husband is a heart patient with severe pet allergies and we were basically told that's too bad that is all we have. Our reservation was made over a month in advance and we never knew that any hotel would DEFAULT to assigning a customer to a pet area WITHOUT. A pet request. We were left to try to find another hotel and there were none available except a terribly rundown old comfort Inn. We do many road trips due to our health issues, but I will make sure that Holiday Inn IS NOT lodging that I will reserve. A CUSTOMER SHOULD NEVER EVER BE FORCED TO STAY WHERE ANIMALS HAVE BEEN UNLESS THEY CHOOSE TO. THIS COULD HAVE BEEN A SERIOUS MISTAKE FOR MY HUSBAND! Shame on Holiday Inn for ruining our Kentuck vacation!

I stayed in Holiday Inn in northlake/tucker area on 12/31/16 and the room 414 was infested by bed bugs.Although the clerk on duty handled the situation very professionally and refunded my money,im still appalled that they are continuing to book the room out. I went to the reviews and holy grail another complaint for the same room and same problem. Those issues need to be taking seriously. No one wants to take bed bugs home or even biten by those nasty little things period. That room need to be condemned asap

I booked a stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Lenoir City, TN. The booking and the payment was handled by Hotels.com. In the last 7 days, I have been billed by Holiday Inn 7 times (including the "incidentals fee". 3 of the 7 bills have gone from pending to posted on my credit card. The hotel manager(s) in Lenoir City, TN claimed to have "handled" the problem, but it won't go away. Out of control with no resolution and credit cards fees and phone calls are adding up.

I called this morning to inquire about a cancellation policy, I spoke with an individual by the name of Roberto I believe from the Orlando location. As soon as i was transferred to him he was short, rude and unhelpful. After I finally got my issue resolved, after 15 minutes, i asked to speak to his direct supervisor. He refused me and said he would not transfer me to his supervisor to complain. After arguing with him he finally said he would transfer me to his supervisor and transferred me to another colleague instead of the management department. This individual should be fired and I am still waiting on them to call me back regarding my complaint. Hands down worst customer service experience I've ever had.

The Hoilday inn express in Lawrenceburg In.
To whom might be concerned I am a platinum member as I have been for along time. I've stayed in holiday inn for 22 years I am well accustomed to what a holiday inn is like. When it's time to use my reward points I still expect a holiday inn when I check in and not a dirty run down hotel comparable to a bad super 8. This was the experience that I had last night the sheets the pillow cases nothing at all like a holiday inn. Very disappointed and likely to stay that way

I am sick and tired of hearing that you must let people with service dogs stay and now even "comfort" dogs when you can buy that certificate on line for $49. A few lawsuits may change that. I guess you don't mind if I bring my "comfort" sheep or "comfort" rattlesnake. Or surely you can't discriminate against my monkey virus infected monkey. My girl and I carry an epi-pin since we are allergic and could die, but let's not upset those dogs.

I have stayed at Holiday Inns for over 40 years and I always have been treated with respect and I have never complained about any services. I have been a Holiday Inn rewards member for at least 25 years.
In July we decided to go to the Albuquerque Balloon festival which is held on the first weekend in October. So we made reservations for 2 rooms at the Airport Holiday Inn in Albuquerque New Mexico. One room was for our friends, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Stoddard, and other room was for us.
On October 6th we drove 8 hours from Phoenix to Albuquerque Holiday Inn. The desk clerk said that we had reserved a suite with one queen size bed in the bedroom and one pull out couch in the living area. We told her that we did not like the pull out bed and we preferred two rooms each with a queen size bed. We showed her the confirmation which listed that we had reserved two rooms. She informed us that they were full and that was the only room available. We argued with her. Another desk clerk (did not get his name) overheard the discussion and said that his computer showed that there were rooms available. She said that she attempted to locate the rooms but was unable to do it. The other clerk called back to the office to get another clerk to help. A person came out from the office and showed her how to do it. We finally received two rooms with queen size beds on two different floors. I asked her to look up my rewards number and she told me that she couldn't look it up and that I would have to call it in when I get home. I never carry my rewards card with me and I always ask them to look up the number. When we went up to our rooms, neither of the keys worked in the doors. Both the Stoddard's and us had to go down and get new keys. By the time we eventually were able to get into our rooms an hour had passed.
While we were in the process of getting the two rooms, the kind desk clerk that said that rooms were available told us that the Holiday Inn offered free shuttle service to the Balloon festival shuttle and he gave us a sheet which described the service. He explained that The Holiday Inn shuttle would take us down to another hotel where we would catch the bus to the balloon festival. He said that the first balloon festival bus would leave at 4:30 and we should be in the lobby 15 minutes before that. We agreed and signed up for the Holiday Inn Shuttle for 4:15 AM. He added our names to the Holiday Inn Shuttle log.
In the morning, we were in the lobby at 4:15 and the shuttle driver took us and dropped us off at the Hampton Inn and told us where to pick up the balloon festival bus. He gave us a business card and told us to call the number on the card and someone will come and pick us up since it was a long walk up the hill.
We had a great time at the balloon festival and were in a very cheery mood when we returned to the balloon festival shuttle parking lot. My wife called the Holiday Inn and the person she talked to said that the Inn did not offer shuttle service for the festival. My wife explained to her that the shuttle brought us there at 4:15 AM. And that we were told to call this number and we would be picked up. My wife explained that we signed up on the morning shuttle sheet and that the Holiday Inn shuttle driver told us to call this number when we get back. My wife explained the situation at least 4 times and all the desk clerk said is that we don't offer this service. Both my wife and I had knee replacements in the last year and the other couple is handicapped. I said that I would walk up and get the car and drive back to pick them up. My wife agreed to walk with me.
We stopped 2 times on the walk up the hill so my wife could catch her breath. I was getting madder by the minute. So when we got to the top of the hill, I regret that I decided to go talk to the agent before picking up my friends. We got into a major argument and I lost my temper because of her uncooperative attitude. She continued to say that they didn't offer the service and she refused to listen to any of the facts. I threw the paper that described the balloon festival shuttle down on the desk and said that is what we called about and asked to speak to the manager.
She went into the back and no one came out for over 5 minutes. When the manager came out he told me that I was wrong and that I was being aggressive to one of his employees and that I should pack my bags and I should leave the hotel. After picking up my friends at the other hotel, we said that we would not check out of the hotel and miss the other plans we had for Albuquerque. My friend talked to the manager and explained the situation and that he has known me for over 50 years and that he has never seen me lose my temper before. The Manager agreed to let me stay however he told my friend that I should not have thrown the papers at her and that I owed her an apology. I never threw the papers at her and I have never thrown anything at anyone. I was President of a 250 man professional engineering company and I have been complimented on my interpersonal skills. On the last day of our visit, I bumped into the shuttle driver who took us to the festival bus and he asked how things went. I told him what happened when we returned and he could not believe it.
We were not the only ones with problems with complaints about the service at the hotel. The Stoddards had to get new keys every day of the 3 day stay. Two other people told us that they had trouble with their keys and one person had problems with one of the desk clerks and she said she was a Holiday Inn Rewards person and that she was going to go to her room and email a letter to the rewards department.
All the other staff at the hotel was very pleasant and friendly. It is my opinion that the Manager is not qualified to be a Manager of a Holiday Inn. He should have come out and talked to me and listen to my side of the story rather than just her side of the story. His responsibility should be customer satisfaction and he needs to get all the facts before he throws a frequent visitor out of his hotel. His name is Ruben Abeyta.
Please let me know how you addressed this problem. Bob Helenbrook

I had reservations at the Holiday Inn Duluth in Minnesota last night.I had to prepay for this room. I also paid over $200 for a single room. First TV/Remotes didn't work, but that was just an inconvenience. But wait until what came later!

I turned the heater on mainly to get the fan on - it was stuffy. I immediately started sneezing, coughing and having other allergic reactions. You could see there was dust on the uderside of the vents that you could only see if you werern't looking directly down on them.. Given my reaction and the face that housekeeping could not clean the 'dust' makes me believe there was mold, mildew or some other thing rather toxic. I called down to the front desk after having asked for both the cleaning and more Kleenex since my nose was streaming.
I will admit I yelled at the desk person on my last call down, I was frustrated and they just were not taking me seriously.
What came was the Manager and a Security Guard asking me to leave the hote.
I am a single women over 60, in ill health, sent into an allergy spiral from your rooms and I was asked to leave, even AFTERE I explained I was in no condition to drive 300 miles to home. He didn't care, just get out

Then to add insult to injury the cut off the parking pass I had so I had to pay the lost ticket fee to get out even though I had only been there a few hours.

Today I am still dealing with lung issues - thank god I don't have actual Asthma or this could have been a fatal experience.!!!

The Holiday Inn Brand has slipped beyond what I had imagined. The room was shabby, window will ringed from glasses with pieces missing from the wood. The linen was put on backwards so the tags were at your neck.

NEVER EVER AGAIN WILL I STAY AT A HOLIDAY INN AGAIN.

I'm a gold elite customer and can't believe you can't resolve a problem. I'm extending stay at a hotel and roughly ever 6 weeks I have the hotel check me out and then check me in the same day. That way I can find out if I'm getting my points. When I call your lousy customer service they can't get it resolved and all I do is argue with no points being updated. I'm at the point I would rather sleep in my car than stay at your Holiday Inn. The hotel is fine its your lousy corporate office

There is a manager at the Holiday Inn in Bridgeport Connecticut on Main Street across from the court house, has a horrible badly done haircut, she is rude, unfriendly towards white people, and was smoking IN FRONT OF THE BUILDING UNDER A SECURITY CAM TOSSING HER CIGARETTES ON THE SIDEWALK IN FULL VIEW OF CUSTOMERS.inside,I asked for a too.,her demeanor was extremely rude and unprofessional, especially for customer service.I told her i didn't think her attitude was very professional and a bit disrespectful, and she told me to go ahead and report it,so here I am.She needs to be reprimanded and told how to dress for a profession as serious as Hotel manager and needs to perhaps work at dunkin donuts where her mode of dress, and sour attitude doesn't get paid as well.

Kari, who works the Duluth MN location needs to go to manners training. I had to call back after being hung up on as she was not wanting to answer questions. Her tone is snippy, no knowledge of courtesy.
I would never recommend Holiday with her at a desk or phone.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Ft. Washington, PA July 21st through July 26th. The bathroom toilet took about 4-6 flushes to evacuate the contents (either low flow or low water pressure) The bathroom exhaust was not working. Because of no bathroom exhaust, anytime we took a shower all of the walls, ceiling and floor was sweating with moisture. The odor was so bad that we had to keep the bathroom door shut at all times. Brought this to the attention of the service desk several times. Holiday Inn took no action to addressing the problem. The price of staying at the Holiday Inn Express is not worth it. In the survey that Holiday Inn Express sent me I gave low grades for the room and service because of a non-functioning toilet and a failed bathroom exhaust system. I also sent them gross photos of the 3rd flush and 5th flush. Next time that I am in the area I'll stay at a Residence Inn, Marriott Courtyard, Hilton or Double Tree. At least I know that their toilets and bathroom exhausts are working, and the prices are better.

The holiday Inn at Pueblo Colorado sucks, they broke into my truck and stole 10,000.00 of equipment, they don't have no camera, very little lighting in the parking lot. Do not stay there, this is the worst holiday Inn I have stayed inn.

Holiday Inn has implemented a new rule, refusing to give points for stays at the hotel that are booked on any internet site other than their own. I've lost five nights of points - two in Yakima and three in Bellingham. Since the vast majority of reservations must be coming from sites from Tripadvisor to Expedia, this means the rewards program is cheating most rewards program members of the points that are due them, and therefore cheating them out of the free nights they would otherwise earn. When I posted this complaint on their review page, they refused to post the review - there are only fawningly positive reviews posted there. What a ripoff.

Dear Corporate:

You have a manager who goes by the name "Stormy" who is dating one of her employees.

The employees name is Erin Somvella a African American male and she is very attracted, and bias to him. Every where Stormy goes she has this particular employee with her. The other employees say that she is dating him, but is truly obvious.

Stormy is 25 years of age Caucasian female and not fit to be a manager. I have been in the hotel and over heard one of the front desk ladies call her for change because they didn't have any to do transactions with the customers, but Stormy never called back and didn't care whether they had change or not.

Corporate needs to be aware that the management at Holiday Inn Express is not supervised by a person who cares about the needs of the operation. To not answer your phone when your staff calls because you don't care.

In conclusion this establishment needs to be aware of hiring young management because
clearly they do not take their job seriously. Be Aware!

Sincerely,

A concerned citizen

June 5 & 6 Pueblo, Co. The second night my husband and I were at the hotel our van got stolen out of the parking lot. Staff wasn't very helpful-They did call 911 for us but did not offer any other kind of help. I asked that the security camera tapes be pulled only to find out that the only security camera in use is at the swimming pool.(The website indicates there are cameras in use). We needed to find a rental car so I was going to use the computer in the lobby. It didn't work either! We moved to a different hotel after the police came to take a report. The room we had was filthy. Sticky and dirty carpets-couldn't walk on the carpet without getting feet or socks black.
