I ordered a pair of shoes online on 5/13. I added expedited shipping so I would have them on 5/18 at the latest. On 5/16 I received an e mail my order was cancelled due to shoes not being available. I checked their web site and the shoes were available. On 5/17 I called jc penny and asked what happened. After being transferred numerous time I got someone who agreed to send my shoes via overnight air as I need these shoes for a very important affair on Friday 5/19. Today no shoes 5/19. I got an e mail on 5/17 saying my shoes were shipped air express that day. Tonight 5/19 I got an email saying my shoes would arrive Monday 5/22. I again called jc penny. Told them what happened. Asked for supervisor who they wouldn't transfer me to and stayed there was nothing they could do and they wouldn't cancel my order. Told them I was not near a store to return them and I wasn't paying to ship back to them. No compensation and nothing except"I am sorry" what kind of business is this? I am so angry I don't know what to do.
