These people are complete crooks! If you end up not being able to keep up with the number of massages you have already paid for they make it very difficult to catch up. If you try to freeze your membership to catch up they make you pay a monthly freeze plus fee (partial monthly payment with no accrual). After dealing with this for a while I tried to renew the arrangement and they changed their rules, to require a full month fee before allowing a partial monthly fee, or loose all past massage credits. Such crooks!!! How in the hell are they still in business? I don't know anyone that trusts them at all, and for good reason.

I received a gift certificate to massage envy for Christmas . I finally made an appointment a couple of weeks ago unfortunately, the morning of my appointment I was in a car accident. I called the massage envy where I made my appointment in Sun Valley, Monroe, North Carolina, and canceled. On my next bank statement I noticed a $60 charge. Apparently they charge you if you don't cancel within 24 hours I was not aware of this. Of course I was thinking as a new customer they might offer a little leniency for such emergencies I'm very disappointed that they do not. I'm gonna use my gift certificate and then we'll part ways. Thank you.

I called on 6/23/2023 at 3:40 pm to cancel my membership and was told that I would have to wait a few weeks for them to contact me to cancel that. Why couldn't I just cancel it over the phone? My monthly charge of $70.00 comes out at the beginning of every month, so I asked the lady if I would be charged again if THEY don't contact me before my monthly payment comes out. I was told "I will put a note on your account to contact you as soon as possible".
My sister, also, had this same issue and was charged the next month as well, that's the only reason I brought up the situation. My sister had to contact the manager to finally get it cancelled and she got it cancelled right away. After not receiving anything from Massage Envy.
I asked for the managers number in case I wasn't contacted. I was told to contact them during the week, during the day with the standard front desk phone number. Which I had called at 3:40 pm and was told the manager wasn't there. I called during the week and during the day.
Cancelling a membership should not be this difficult nor should still be taken out of my account, considering I was trying to cancel it on the 23rd. This should not be a few weeks process.

My rates have increased twice in just a few months. Zero communication of "warning" that this would happen. No email. No phone call. Just a bank statement showing I am paying more. Is this even legal? I have been with a membership for a good 10 years and never have I ever had an increase! Why has this suddenly happened? When I joined, I was suppose to be locked into my rate. As new members would join, and rates would increase, I never saw the increase on my end because I was LOCKED into the rates from the time I joined. This is breach of contract on ME end and really needs to be addressed by corporate.

As a ME member since before Covid. I have accumulated many sessions that I can't possibly use by myself. I would like to share them with my daughter but was told that she can only use one session every 6 months. I now have put my membership on a hold status which is still costing me $20 per month. Is there anything I can do Toto solve this problem until my 23 sessions are used up and the. Go back to my normal once a month plan

I visited the Massage Envy on 4/15/23 located at 2880 E Germann Rd in Chandler, AZ. The massage therapist was named Tim. The purpose of my massage was to focus on my lower back. For 90 minutes Tim focused on every area but my lower back. After the massage was over, I mentioned that he never touched my lower back. He stated that because I had on waist beads (they can be removed or raised) he couldn't massage my lower back. When asked why he didn't say anything, he sated that Massage Envy policy would not allow him to say anything to me. Needless to say, I was very disappointed because the entire reason I went to get a massage was to have my lower back focused on. I also paid for EMT enhancement and I honestly do not that that was included. The worst massage experience ever!!!

I'm disabled and scheduled an early morning massage at massage envy marketplace, because I'm disabled I have to depend on mobility,, I called early and left a message not to cancel but reschedule later in the day but was told no and in addition I would be charged anyway. I'm visiting on a family emergency from Tucson I can't wait to get back home where professionalism and compassion still matters

I am not able to use my membership due to health reasons. I have only used it once, and I am paying $60 a month. I called to transfer my membership to my daughter until it ends in July 2923. If I am still paying, I do not understand why this cannot be done

Massage Envy in Ellicott City, Md has the worst "wellness consultants". They are inept, patronizing, rude, and appear to not know the meaning of customer service. Massage Envy in Ellicott City has a practice of making it easy to give them your money but extremely frustrating and difficult to book massages. Maggie Envy in Elliott City,Md is ripping off Seniors buy selling services they cannot provide. I give a 4 star rating to the massage therapists that work there and 0 for Massage Ency itself.

Hello
I have been extremely frustrated with the massage envy in Gibsonia PA. I make my appts for the next month directly after my massage. Two times now I have made appointments and somebody cancels them. The one time I showed up because I knew I had an appointment and they said you have no appointment it was canceled and they can't tell me by who so two times this happened to me and it is almost impossible to get an appointment, no one works after 5 o'clock and I work all day so after work appointments are the best for me if I continue to not be able to make appointments, I will have to cancel

I had a horrible experience at Massage Envy in Annapolis, MD. I decided to get the membership after receiving a monthly add on perk with each monthly massage. I went into get my massage and the front desk employee told me that she did not know what the monthly add on was and that she needed a physical copy of the add on. I did not have it with me (no one told me I needed it with me to get the benefit that I paid for), so I called my husband to ask him to take a picture of it. When I showed the employee the picture, she said she still could not accept it. It was just for aromatherapy (literally some essential oil) and she seriously could not add that on for me even though it was my benefit as a member!? When I questioned it, she called her manager, who agreed that I simply could not get the aromatherapy without a physical copy. I have been to tons of massage spas and have gotten aromatherapy for free with no membership or anything! It's very petty of Massage Envy. Because of this rip off experience I will be telling all of my friends/family to not waste their time going there and I will never come back after my membership expires.

Horrible company to get a membership with. I will never recommend anyone to your company. I was gifted a membership, of which you cannot book appointments for because they're constantly booked. And now I cant cancel the membership because I'll lose all the points I have. But to keep it on hold it's 10/month. Absolutely ridiculous how this is handled. And when I asked for the manager she did nothing about it. I either want all my money back from what we spent, or I want to stop paying without losing everything we paid for.

I ended my contract with massage Envy but they're still charge me anyway now that I wanted to use of the services that I had left on my Account now they told me that I pass the 60 days but they had no problem taking my money when I had already ended the contract but now they won't do the services, When you end your service with this company they should tell you that you only have 60 days to , this company has so many bad reviews I can't believe that they're still in business. 49 bad reviews zero good reviews

I have had a membership with you at the location in Columbia, MO. In the past year, I have had several appointments cancelled and rescheduled. Most recently, my current appointment is now scheduled for the 4th time. Due to the constant cancellations and inability to schedule a session, I currently have at least 8 months of credit on the books. I find this totally unacceptable as a person who is making monthly payments with the understanding of having service at least once a month. I would like to be compensated for my time and the lack of service I have received.

I bought my husband a $100 gift card and when he went to make an appointment after Christmas it was a two month(!!!!) wait. That was not my expectations when I bought the for card. And it's very disappointing. They sell these gift cards with their $20 promo crap and they don't have the staff to handle the appts. Nobody buys a gift card for somebody thinking they won't use it until 2 months down the road. Way to take advantage of people. You should be proud of yourselves. You got our money in a NON-REFUNDABLE gift card. And now we are stuck.

I have cancelled my membership with massage envy in Arlington Highlands. I had another massage envy trying to help me through this entire process as the one in the highlands customer service is awful. The other massage envy looked at my membership and said it was not cancelled. I called the highlands they informed me the other location couldn't tell me that and it was cancelled. I called back a week later to make sure it was not frozen as that is what I was told the next time I visited the other location and the highlands manager once again informed me it was cancelled. This weekend I am being billed once again from massage envy highlands. How is it okay they can continue to bill my credit card without permission? I even have the cancellation documentation.

I recently requested a firm massage at Massage Envy, it was basically an all over body rub with location. It cost $125 for 50 minutes. Absolutely ridiculous. I have paid more for a 60 minute massage at a resort spa... but that was complete with a pool, sauna, hot tub, and available food and beverages. The prices were not posted anywhere on their website. Had I known, I definitely would not have scheduled.

I am not a client, I was a therapist working at the franchise located at 5615 Concord Pike, Wilmington Delaware 19803. I am pursuing a discrimination case with the City of Wilmington Department of Labor. Thanks for the support

They no longer accept cash transactions at any of their locations. But they make clear you can still leave CASH gratuitities for their therapist. What a joke! You have lost our business permanently MASSAGE ENVY! I don't trust any corporation that will not accept U.S hard currency!

I am very more than upset. I had a complaint and was trying to chat with a Massage Envy complaint recipient on CHAT and they said ok I am connecting you with a Lawyer and it will be $5.00 This is crazy. All because I asked today if the person doing my massage, and I spoke directly to her, had had her two Covid vaccines. The manager came in and told me, I HAD NO RIGHT ASKING THAT QUESTION AND THAT IT WAS AGAINST HIPAA. Needless to say the girl doing my massage said NO she had not had the vaccine. That is ok we all make that choice. But I as a client have the right to ask. Don't tell me I don't, and come in the room like a school teacher punishing a child, telling me I was out of line

I had cancer and they kept charging us. We decided to try to use them up. When I call to get an appointment they are booked up for two weeks

After being a customer for 10 years and supporting my center through Covid, my therapist refused to make more appointments with me when I asked her to lighten the pressure one day. No other good therapists in that center.

Do not join. It is impossible to get appointments unless you go months out.

Horrible Service! you cannot speak to any customer service representative on the phone. I have left four messages since October with only one call back and the person didn't leave any contact information. Corporate representative promised to send me an email that I never received.

Today I went to buy a massage for my husband. I gave the manager a $100.00 bill. She said it was $98.00. I had my grandsons with me and ended up getting distracted. When I returned to the register she asked for my credit card. I ended up double paying. Upon my arrival home I called and spoke to the manager who said she waited on me and refused to listen to me. She said their was no $100 in the register. Well of course not because she stole it. She refused to watch video footage and told me I was a liar. I called customer service and left a message. Nobody returned my calls. Do not buy from this company they are rude and the rooms are very small.
