Who ever is the corporate officers of this company or shareholder
must have a big hold on the legislatures . They have them snowed if they think we are getting a better deal with Medco. I haveChrohns disease and my medicine is never on time so far this month they have had to give me free medicine due to the fact do one there knows why my meds where not sent out on time. Our meds come from Las Vegas, TAmpa , New Jersy and God knows were else
I wonder who's pockets these people is padding. I tried to find the corporate officers and this is not public information
Does that tell you something/.

This Is The Worst Experience Ever...a Complete Headache. The Medications Come Dang Near 2 Weeks After I Need Them. They Serve No Purpose To Me...i Enjoyed Bioscript And Chronimed Pharmacy....i Pray We Get More Options Oppose To This Nightmare....

The truth doesn't exist in this company. After waiting a week for my meds I called and was told one of them was being held until my doctor called them back, but they did not contact him until I began calling. They were suppose to send the remainder and after doctor approval they would send the last one. I received an email saying they had been sent but I still had to go back and order the last one so I guess I will wait another 2 weeks for it. Even though they can access your accounts why is it every time you call someone else gives you a different answer. The best is I still haven't received anything yet but a charge to my credit card.

I called medco to have my Rex refilled on feb27,2013 it's now march 14 ,2013 still do not have my med this is the the worst ran co I have had to deal with I have made complaints and they have gone unanswered I HATE DEALING WITH THEM GM NEEDS TO CHANGE TO A BETTER CO THIS IS NOT WORKING NOT TO SAY THIS HAS HAPPENED THREE TIMES

Sub standard service - deductions from checking account unauthorized....takes WAY to long to get Rx refills. Wish I could go back to my local pharmacy and get 30 day refills.
Consumers have no choice especially if you are on Medicare. Think Express Scripts/Medco smacks of monopolizing Rx market.

Hi,

I would just like to file a formal complaint due to the hassle that I have had to go through in order to obtain my medications. I think that it is absolutely rediculous that a medical company can allow for someone to go without medication for an extended period of time. I tried to refill a prescription last week, and was only able to speak to someone and have it processed today! Now my order won't be processed for another 2 days, and it's going to take 3-5 days to get to me AFTER that... Thats a full week that I have to go without medication. I know in my case it's not THAT serious of an issue, but it's my mental health that is being effected by this! and that is unfair to me.

I also know that I am not the only one of my friends that has had similar problems getting medication on time. I'm not a happy customer, clearly and I find it hard to believe that this is supposed to be the more convenient option for obtaining prescriptions...

However when I finally reached someone on the phone, they were extremely helpful and did what they could to help me, but it should have never come to this point of disatisfaction with the services provided by Medco.

Medco should be shut down and out of business. I have never experienced such inefficiency, inept employees, gross negligence and incompetence. My physicians office, the local pharmacy has had the same frustrating experiences. SHAME SHAME SHAME ON YOU...from the top to the bottom....furthermore my calls were all routed to the Philippines.....hire an English speaking American! I've also received incorrect medication.....frightening to deal with.

Medco has one price on the website and a higher one that you will be charged. Web said the Rx was $10/year, later in the day it was changed to $20/year. Supervisor agrees that it what the website says, but that is not what it means! Humpty Dumpty (Lewis Carroll) couldn't have said it better!!

this company if you can call it that! is by far the worst run where i'm sure there are people dying due to their inefficiency I have made a formal complaint I wish we could all get a class action suit against them for all the money wasted . my husbands meds have been handled so poorly by this co. i hope to GOD he doesnt have a problem

This is the worst experience I have ever had. Ordered my meds 2nd week of Dec 2012 it's now the end of Jan 2013 and they still haven't shipped the meds to me. If this was a med I needed to stay alive i'd be dead. Simply the worst company I have ever worked with. Tried to get my prescription filled at my local pharmacy and they couldn't because it shows in their system that Medco is filling it, and it doesn't give my local pharmacist the option to override. I will never use this service again and I will make sure to tell all of my colleagues how horrible they are.

Medco mail order prescriptions are unreliable! I have had to remove 4 prescriptions over the past year due to their inability to complete refills. Their Worry-free refill program does not work - prescriptions not refilled in timely manner, do not contact physician to renew refill, etc.. I am moving prescriptions back to Walgreens. They have now changed their name to Express Scripts most like due to the poor service.

I called Medco customer service to complain about the cost of a 90 day supply of L-Tyrhxine because they charged me $24.11 and I was getting the same prescription at Walgreens for $17.25. The gentleman asked incredulously We're more expensive that retail? When I said yes and explained he didn't offer to Match Walgreens price, didn't offer some other discount. He said we shipped it you owe it there is nothing I can do.
I will never use Medco/Express Script again.

I have had the worse possible experience with Medco. On Dec 30th I placed an online order for my high blood pressure medication, it is now Jan 8th and I still do not have my medication. My doctor must write a small px in order for me to go to my local pharamacy to get the medication I need for a short term basis, costing me additional money. I was told by Medco that they faxed to my doctor a request for the px at least twice. My doctor's office has not recieved any request from Medco. When I asked a supervisor why can't someone call my doctor's office for the px, I was told it is not Medco's policy to call. You would think if you are not getting a reply from a fax you would put forth the effort to call. Medco has terrible customer service and should be reported to the Federal Trade Commission, remember no company it too big to fail

Worst service provideer in the health industry. Give up trying to communicate...give up trying to get your scripts filled. Two thumbs down (because I only have two thumbs). Sooo sorry I missed open season :(

This is the worst service company ever. My mother has to use this company due to her union contract. For the past 2-3 years, about every 90 days I am on the phone because they have mismanaged her medications. This has resulted in extra out of pocket expenses and missed medication. I hate the thought of even having to contact them. The conversations are unreal. They tell me my mother was never on a medication that she has taken for years, that we never signed up for auto refill, etc., etc., I wish there was a way we could just go to our local pharmacist.

This is the WORST system ever, call to follow up on an asthma medication after an hour of talking to three reps calling my doctor's to confirm they place an order to be told we have nothing for you. By the time i got off the phone i needed blood pressure meds that F@@@ing automated system is so frustrating the only way to combat this is to take it up with your employer or union. this presciption plan is terrible. they claim to save you money. when i was able to go to my local pharm. i got my three month supply of symbicort and combivent 3 inhalers of each for $85 by mail they sent me the wrong dosage for sybicort refused me from exchanging it for the proper med. but i could get the proper one if my physician would write a new scipt and pay FULL price. The combivent for three monthes 3 inhalers for $40 instead they give me 1 for $30. something has got to change,

I received a letter from Medco that I am required to go to a mail order program for any of my long-term prescriptions. The letter did, however, included the option of contacting a customer service representative with the offer, "If you'd like, we'll even contact your doctor to order your 90-day prescriptions". Well I contacted a rep and was told that option was no longer available. I was told that 4 days AFTER I was in to see my Dr. and could have asked him to write me new prescriptions. Your reps DID NOT COMPLY with the letter that Medco sent out. I AM THOROUGHLY DISGUSTED WITH THIS KIND OF CUSTOMER SERVICE AND PLAN TO INFORM OLDCASTLE OF MY EXTREME DISSATISFACTION. Furthermore, from the looks of your Customer Service Scoreboard, I am not the only one who feels this way. VERY INTERESTING THAT TO BE HEARD, YOUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS REQUIRES THAT I AGREE TO HAVE MY SUBMISSION MODIFIED??????

Like the other reviewers, it seems Medco has found many ways to cheat it's customers. Like making prescription limit rules that do not follow physician prescribing patterns. For example, I cannot get a prescription filled because, although the medication is prescribed 4x per day, they randomly issue a once a day limit which corresponds to no doctor recommendations of which I am aware.

I thought Comcast had bad customer service. Medco beats them hands down. I have experienced just about all of the issues mentioned in other posts. For years I have been getting prescriptions at Walgreens, but Medco will now only allow three refills of a long-term med from a retail pharmacy. a fourth refill MUST be obtained from Medco, or you will pay full price. I've received many calls from their sales people trying to convince me to switch to mail order. I gave it a try and it has been a horrific nighmare. Wrong meds, wrong quantities, ineffective meds. One post mentioned "clandestine meds from India". There is nothing clandestine about it. "Made in India" is printed on the box or bottle. Some of the meds they ship simply DO NOT WORK! I am going back to Wallgreens until they stop allowing purchasing from retail completely. Then I will switch insurance.

Medco has found a new way to cheat. They simply ship a prescription and bill for it. They don't ask they just shiip and bill. Here is how the process works, they call your physician and ask for a prescription, the dr complies, Medco ships and bills. Did you notice that Im not included and that the process begins with Medco initiating and ends with Medco getting paid. I have reported this to the Fraud Department of my insurance company.
This is very similar to the long distance companies who switched consumers to their service without having permission. It is called slamming.

I have a prescription that my parents do not need to know that I take. But since we are unable to get more than two refills, they sent numerous letters to the house stating the specific name of the prescription in the letter. Then without authorization or a refill request they sent a refill to my house and my mom received the shipment.

Medco is difficult to deal with. But the most disturbing thing is that you can get a message from Medco for "Wendy", as I did, and have no idea who Wendy is. This kind of complaint isn't something that fits into their automated system. When you finally get a person, they don't seem that interested. I'm afraid they will try to call me at the wrong number.

My husband received medicine that was not his.Call the company to report the error was told drug could not be sent back.Told to check with his doctor who said it was not prescirbe for him. Pharmacist instructed him on how to disgard the medicine. Received an invoice for $150.00 dollar called the Billing department spoke with a supervisor named Tanya explain to her the error on Medco or the doctor office and was told my husband is going to have to pay this invoice. THIS WAS NOT THE PATIENT'S ERROR. NOTED ON INVOICE IF YOU HAVE A BALANCE ON YOUR ACCOUNT ORDERS MAY NOT BE PROCESSED. MY HUSBAND IS A LIVER TRANPLANT PATIENT AND HAVE TO TAKE A DRUG FOR HIS IMMUNE SYSTEM FOR THE REST OF HIS LIFE. IF HIS MEDICINES ARE STOPPED THEN HIS LIFE STOPS. I CAN NOT GET ANY HELP WITH THIS MATTER . WE DO NOT HAVE THE $150.00 DOLLAR TO PAY FOR SOMETHING WE DID NOT ORDER. THIS COMPANY IS NEW WITH OUR OFFICE OF STATE GROUP HEALTH PLAN. WHERE CAN WE GET HELP NO ONE IS ASSISTING US THEY HAVE TURN A DEAF EAR. WE HAVE BEEN TRYING FOR 2 MONTHS NOW.
