This is my second attempt to reach the cancellation department.

FYI, I have tried repeatedly today, calling both , trying to reach the cancellation department, and I am on hold FOREVER, to the point of my phone becoming "hot" to the touch.

This notice is to inform you that I am CANCELING my netzero account, as of October 1, 2015. I do hope that you can forward my emails for the next 2 weeks to my new email address:

I want a written confirmation of this cancellation notice from you, please. Thank you.

We had NetZero internet services, and for a few months, it was low speed but worked ok overall.They told us that for $20.00 per month we would have 1 GB what was iqual of 40 hs usage. A few weeks ago the internet was not working, we called them they said that we had to buy more data if we wanted to use it. We did not agree since we knnew that we did not use all, they tried to convince us till we spoke with the superviser who ended up giving us 1 GB. In a few days the internet stopped working, we called them and we had to buy 1 GB if we wanted to have the service. After using internet for a couple of days the internet went down again! We were 100% sure we had not used 40 hs! Not even 20 hs!! We called them, they said the same. We bought 1 more GB, and this time we tracked the hs, we had used about 14 hs only of internet and it went down, by then we were so bothered with this company and all the agravation that it had caused us from calling and being without services that we decided to get another company, which would take a few days to connect the service... And we had to buy 1 more GB from NetZero and guess what ??? The story continued... - in 2 or 3 days the internet was down! They tried to convice us that we were downloanding to much programs, watching movies, or playing games, what we did not do for sure.

Today we got the services from the other company, we are so glad and relieved!

OUR EXPERIENCE IS THAT NETZERO IS ONE OF THE WORST COMPANYES TO GET SERVICES! THEY CAN STILL YOUR MONEY AS THEY DID TO US! ARE YOU WONDERING WHY THEIR RATES ARE LOW AS ONE STAR ONLY? BECAUSE IT CAN NOT GET LOWER THAN THIS. IF YOU GET THEIR INTERNET SERVICE YOU WILL KNOW. WE WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE! KEEP AWAY FROM THEM IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO GET RIPPED OFF, WASTE LOTS OF TIME ON THE PHONE WITH THEIR WORKERS AND BE FREE OF AGRAVATIONS! IT WAS A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!

Paid for 3.5 and recieved 525. never sped up over 1.2 and that was rare.

From a very unhappy former customer of Netzero. I paid for high speed internet, it got slower and slower finally none of the three browsers I use could get anything but a rectangle with a funny guy that had two options; 1) kill 2) wait. Sometimes I waited 3 times but never got what I wanted. No good to complain, they just want to raise the price for all those freebee they advertise. Now they are attaching trash to my incoming emails and any I send. DO NOT TAKE THEM AS YOUR PROVIDER UNLESS YOU WANT TROUBLE. Former customer

I have used NetZero for many years, but I absolutely hate the way it is working now. I want to speak to a NetZero agent about this and I don't expect to pay for the time.

Net zero wireless sucks. And after numerous calls and telling me repeatedly it was my new computer.
I had to argue with a representative to return the modem and get my money back. Their customer service is terrible.

For the past couple of months, when I go to open my email account I am told I have to go and change my password or email address. When I try to do this, I have had to end up paying for the assistance. This when I did not cause the problem. Yet my bank account is charged over 200 dollars for paid assistance for something that I did not do. your technicans tell me that it is because someone is trying to hack my email account, well that is not my fault but netzero does nothing but charge its customers for something we are not at fault for. I should not have to pay over 200 dollars for getting assistance from netzero, where is the service to your customers for free ????? SOMEONE PLEASE ANSWER THIS . GIVE ME A NUMBER WHERE I CAN CALL A PERSON AND TALK TO THAT PERSOON. ASAP. PLEASE.

This is the worst internet service I have ever had. They never explained to me if your not using the internet turn off the hotspot, and I moved to Washington State from California within two days receiving the device in the mail and I had it on the whole 10 hours I was on the rode within 5 days of getting it I ran out of data. I called to explain and complain and they gave me a extra 2gm big deal that was gone in one day. I spent $136 for nothing I might as well have just threw it in the trash. Never again will I get this service or recommend it to anyone. I ended up with Comcast. All I wanted was internet for streaming.

WHAT A WASTE NEVER EVER AGAIN.

THERE A BUNCH OF LIAR'S AND THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS BECAUSE THEY DON'T KNOW WHAT THERE TALKING ABOUT.

Net-zero stole all my personal important emails, i sent them a request for the second time to fix the issue with no results. Best advice do not trust them they are Back Stabbers. You will lose your personal private emails, or who knows what else.

NetZero mail pages are jammed with advertisements that have such bandwidth-hogging scripts that they often render the application non-functional...and this is with the supposedly 'fewer-advertisements' Platinum service. Multiple freezes and browser crashes per session--often with loss of work--are the norm, and response time to mouse clicks navigating around/between pages is often 15-20 seconds per click or more. This is an unsatisfactory waste of customers' time, and a ridiculous way to do business. Honestly not sure how they continue to operate. Their customer service phone system is a joke, but this is another topic, and one that I won't even get into here. If you're considering NetZero as an email provider, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

Melanie, thank you for the number for the FCC. I am using it. NetZero are nothing but crooks. I have the NetZero Stick with no access and they keep charging my credit card for service I do not get.
Their customer service is a disgrace. Their Technical Service are just no speaking English people from another country who could care less and are extremely stupid and ignorant. They could care less and are stupid besides. NetZero is a big headache, please do not use NetZero.

This company is literally stealing from consumers. The ftc needs to investigate this company they are running a scam. They charge for services you don't receive.They prorate for days you don't Use.The customer service is incompetent they don't speak or understand English. The netzero WiFi is a scam.you don't get your money worth.They nickel and dime Consumers which is stealing.don't Use these crooks.You over pay for their plans.

Just want all you to know I,m finally rid,over, don,t have to deal with netzero ever again. I had to cancell my debit card to keep them from drawing 4.95 a month from my acc., last resort. I,d called them for 5 months, several times a month, the rep. that answered the phone today, checked back , and said yes I SEE WHERE YOU,VE CALLED SEVERAL TIMES. But he wanted to transfer me to the cancillation dept, because I had a balance. I had service with them 10-15 years ago. I just noticed an annual charge of $11.95 on my December 2014 credit card bill. I cancelled my service with them 10-15 years ago and they slid an annual charge into the busy Christmas shopping season activity. I challenged the charge with my card company. They looked back and saw it on 2013 December bill, which slid by us. I called Netzero, and think I have in the past but can't document it, to cancel and challenge Netzero charges..and to give them a piece of my mind. They can say anything - that I never cancelled and how can I dispute that?? It is a slimy way to insert a charge onto past clients' bills. I have not used their service for 10-15 years!! And they cannot prove I have, which they should since I would have to access it via a password system, right? And even though the dollars are not huge, it is the principle of companies STEALING. If one can steal $12 from a hundred thousand people one time a year, that is A LOT OF MONEY: $1.2 million dollars!!!! They rely on people not remembering, being busy and letting things slide through. Heck, if they shoot higher and go for 300,000 people and only get 50% through, that is ALMOST $1.8 MILLION PER YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!! I probably can't get my $120-180 back but class action is starting to sound more likely. My card company has locked this company's charges out of my account for future activity so hopefully that will take care of future attempts to steal from me. However, it is slimy scummy business practices like this that make people scared to do business with ISP's or on the internet in general.

Netzero customer service is not trained at all on the information regarding their services, they can't explain anything to you,I have tried to cancel my account 4 times and got no where, they gave every excuse that they could to not cancel me, I will not go near netzero again.

Please don't get →Netzero I was a new costumer in 4 days I paid $96.ººdollars I watch one movie on Netflix and Facebook using my cellphone.Omg this is ridiculous and inaudible paid for something for me and my kids.
Netzero costumer services in Philippine explain you have to turn off the device when you not using the internet. ..*ok (me) no body tell me to ' turn off the device when i'm bot using it.
But cool I want my money back and I know how to win this legality case

Netzero has messed up my computer with their netzero sick and are refusing to fix the problem or my computer. I am actually on the phone with the FTC I suggest everyone who has had an issue with them to call them and file a complaint their number is 18773824357. I just filed my complaint, maybe netzero will get the message.

Every consumer site has the same complaints about net zero. I do not know how they still remain in business. I, too have been a victim of paying for service that I have never had access to due to their faulty devices or services. I was told that I could not get a total refund for no apparent reason.

my experience has been terrible!!!!! Ii cancelled and still being charged $6.95 for Norton. this account was closed in august, but you all stole $6.95 from September, October, and november. will not advise anyone to use this crapy system......

I was a customer since 2004 and wanted to close the account since I had not used them for several months. I started off explaining that I was no longer using the PC it was working on. The service rep asked about performance and I said it was too slow but that issue may have been my old PC. He tried to sell me faster service, I made it clear I was not longer using PC and therefore not interested. He asked if I could wait for him to come back in 90 seconds, at which point I explained I wanted to close account and not interested in nothing else. He came back in 90 seconds and said they were closing the account, but would retain the Norton anti-virus service for $10.95 per month, thereby ignoring several things I had already stated. I have cancelled my credit card and disputed today's bill for another month's service.

My email has not been working all day. It will not display the messages. Also, for the past several days my net zero keeps knocking itself off - net zero is not responding. If these issues cannot be fixed I will look for other suppliers.
