We have had our Ranger 1000 for a year. The doors that came on it the zippers broke and we turned in a claim now this set of doors are doing the same thing and Polaris will not replace them because we are out of the warranty . They don't stand behind their product.

I was able to contact Polaris customer service without difficulty. However, the person I talked with did not know much about Polaris off road vehicles and needed to refer to Polaris technical support.

Ultimately Polaris agreed to provide me with a kit to fix the issue but never followed through.

Wow! I was considering buying a new high end sxs from Polaris, but now I'm having second thoughts. With all the negative comments and complaints and no positive reviews about their customer service, I don't think it's a good idea. Why would I spend $30,000-$35,000 on a new machine and not expect to be taken care after the sale?!
The only reason I checked on Polaris's customer service reviews is because two of my friends have similar experiences and I didn't want to believe them. I am very surprised and disappointed.

The worst customer service I have ever had they dick you around lie say they will be done it took 2 months and my atv just sits out in the rain at there shop while they could have been done so long ago

I would never ever ever recommend Polaris you will never get proper service. Soon as they sell you there trash. There done helping you basically

I purchased a 2021 RZR XP 1000, was backing it out of the garage and the reverse chain broke, called polaris spoke with there tech, he was useless and rude, cost me $over a thousand dollars to have it fixed,did some research this seems to be a common problem, I have owned several other Polaris vehicles with no problems, first Razor no happy with this one, Polaris customer service the the worst offered no help, once you purchase it it's your problem not theirs,

Polaris customer service is amongst the worst i've ever encountered. I have a 2021 RMK PRO as part of the recall. I live in a remote area. Even though lots of other owners are getting their repairs done. Polaris wont even call me back to let me know where to ship my sled or if they will send a tech. Its been months. My case worker hasn't returned my calls for 3 weeks now. ive talked to every one I could. Rude Unprofessional and refuse to address the issue. Im currently making payments on this lawn decoration. Polaris has completely dropped the ball. They admitted that they dont know what they are doing. they claim they dont even know where they shipped the repair kits too so i could just send my sled to that dealer. Its going to cost me close to 2 grand to ship it to a dealer and back myself if i want to get it fixed. winter is here and Polaris wont even return a call. Complete BS

I purchased a 2021 RZR PRO XP from JT Motorsports in Frederick, MD in December of 2020. I am a 64 year old male who has been riding off road vehicles such as motorcycles, ATV's, and UTV's since 1970 so I am aware of the limitations and potential hazards of these machines. I have also attended safety classes for ATV's. As stated, I purchased this vehicle in 12 of 2020 for approx. $24000 from JT Motorsports. I put another $6000 of accessories on it myself. It still has under 500 miles on it - not even broken in. I took it out riding in May of 2022 and went through some heavy mud (as this vehicle is designed to handle). Upon leaving the mud in a turn, the vehicle hit some hard dirt and SLOWLY tipped onto its passenger side. No issue - a Polaris UTV should be able to handle this with no problem. It took 7 people to lift it up onto its wheels. The passenger side door was out of alignment and did not open correctly. There was also "little" things but I kept on riding it the entire day. I later discovered (upon cleaning the vehicle) that there was more damage (seat, mirror, etc.) so I took it in for repair at JT Motorsports. They kept it for almost 4 months (the entire summer of riding) and the repair bill came in as $13,115.80. It turns out that the frame bent (from this little tip-over) and since Polaris recommends replacing the frame, the entire vehicle had to be torn down and re-assembled with a new frame. This is INSANE. For Polaris to make an engineering mistake this severe. These vehicles are MEANT to be run hard. I tried to call customer service at Polaris for the last 2 weeks and they will neither answer their phone nor call a customer back. I am seeking some financial reimbursement from Polaris to cover the costs that I have incurred with respect to this vehicle. This damage is above and beyond what to expect from a machine of this "quality" and price.

MY RESPONSE TO BBB

I am rejecting this response because: This is such a cop-out. This vehicle was immediately taken to an authorized Polaris dealer in Frederick, MD. Let me re-iterate. Polaris will not respond to requests for customer service. The only reason that they called me was to say that they "care" about their customers on BBB. The first excuse was - insurance took care of your vehicle so Polaris does not have to. Second excuse was "the vehicle is not designed to tip onto its side". The third and most ridiculous excuse was in their BBB response. How is it MY responsibility to have the authorized Polaris dealer get Polaris involved?

This company is horrible and cares nothing about their customers.

I ride a 2015 chieftain. Absolutely a gorgeous bike.
What the new chieftain elite looks is horrible! It looks like a cheap cookie cutter generic bike.to chopped.lost its flowing classic styling.awful harley looking front fender .stunted squarish bags etc yuck .
Complete swing and miss...i'd shop elsewhere at this point.
Never thought i would think that.
Please revisit what got to where you are in such a short time

I have owed Polaris ATVS SINCE 2003 . That was the first one , My second in 2006. I had that one for 15 years. Now I sold my 06 and traded up to 2 2021 machines. My biggest complaint on both machines is the front storage box. Really that's the best Polaris corp. can do. That engineer should be fired. Garbage design My 2006 had a better design and more stable.
Complaint number 2 , the 2021 don't have the hard plastic guards in front of the cv joints to protect them, Sorry your being cheap
Complaint number three the rear storage box is gone again cheap . This was a good spot for a first aid kit or tow straps bottle of water, something.
Last but not least the radiator reservoir is in the strike zone of flying rocks or branches . Don't take this the wrong way I love my new ATZ'S but you all could have done a better job on the quality end and paid attention to the details

Worst experience I ever had.. ((DONT BUY POLARIS))I brought a new unit at the beginning of sept. About 3 weeks later it stop working properly. I brought it back to the dealer in the beginning of October & it been in the shop since then. I talked to the manager @ dealer & they said they can't do nothing to unit without corporate techs permission. I been calling cooperate every month & they can't tell me nothing new. They don't communicate with the dealer at all. I feel like I've been robbed. Polaris corporate is crooks. I ask for my money back & He (Dustin) say "he don't ever give money back". I never imagined being treated like this. I asked how much longer will they have my bike they said they don't know, it can take a year. It already been 6 months. I suggest everyone DONT BUY POLARIS!!!!

I have had a Polaris VR 1 850 ordered on April 15, 2020, as of today 12/18/2020, no snowmobile, have had 7 different ship dates. The dealer has been no help, the Polaris Territory manager was no help, said he was on vacation, and Polaris customer service is a joke, have no information, offered a apology, but basically said to bad.. I want the snowmobile I ordered and expect financial compensation for the loss of riding time, and stress. If I operated my business in the manner that Polaris does I would soon be losing customers. I expect your prompt response.

Bought a Polaris winch the cable keeps breaking bought 3 new cables so far but today had six stitches in my hand because the sell crap this is my first one I had issues with I hate it

Polaris boats should NOT be operating production durning the government's stay at home order! Your not an "essential" business and clearly do not give a damn about the employees safety and health specially since right before the initial order went into place, one of your boating plants had several employees test positive for covid-19.

It's pitiful to pay Thousands for a 2019 Polaris Ranger XP1000 and get it home and cannot even see the oil dipstick! It take 2 hands to feel for it under heat covers and the only way to get it out is fishing it out with both hand 1/2 inch at a time!

my comment is that I bought a 2017 general I ordered four full doors I got them but it was an over sight they made them with no locks so now I have a 50.000 dollar machine fully loaded with no locks on the doors cant get no satisfaction from Polaris or the dealer I am sure they can do something for me they just say sorry it was an over site I say sorry not good enough very poor costumer service I will call them everyday until something is done

I bought a 2013 ranger 800 and a extended warranty I had to take it to a dealer for some work warranty work it's covering all but $250. No one will tell me why I want a reason. It is still at the dealership waiting for a part six weeks now waiting on back ordered parts ( caliper)has cost me my hole hunting season and money ( I guide ) I called Polaris two week ago they're nicer no ansures .this is my third Polaris I am vary disappointed and this will probably be my last . No service no sail me by

There is a Polaris Dealer in Lewiston, ID called Guy's Outdoor Equipment that should not be represented with Polaris in any way. They have a service rating of negative 100, NO COMMUNICATION WITHIN THE BUSSINESS, WITH CUSTOMERS, BETWEEN DEPARTMENTS, ETC. This is the WORST BUSINESS I have ever seen out of all the states I have lived in. I WILL NEVER BUY ANY THING FROM THEM OR HAVE THEM REPAIR OR SERVICE EQUIPMENT, AND WILL NEVER RECOMEND THEM TO ANY ONE OTHER THAN NEGATIVE COMMENTS. Polaris needs to yang their products from this business along with their sponsorship ASAP. They are giving Polaris a bad name with their crappy services they provide. I'm appalled that Polaris has any association with them to begin with. There are a lot of other people who feel the same way in this area too.

Polaris is a horrible place to work they treat their employees like crap Don't pay them enough and they take away their weekends, they hardly ever get a day off. And they are about to go out of business because they are losing workers because of the way they treat them.
