Hello my name is Michaela Schmidt, I'm a customer of Skrill. I am writing all of Skrills business associates to make them aware of Skrills business practices.

I opened an account with Skrill beginning of this year. I use the account in conjunction with chumba. I made a $200 deposit January 12th that was debited from my account 3 days later on the 15th. It took Skrill 7 days to credit my account on the 19th. The day before the $200 was credited to my Skrill account
I made a transfer from chumba to Skrill For $700. When I tried to move the money from Skrill to my bank account a few hours after I made the deposit my Skrill account was restricted.

I contacted Skrill to get the details of the restriction and they couldn't provide any information. In the last two days my Skrill account has been restricted, had the restriction released and as soon as I went to transfer the $620 out of skrill again it was restricted not allowing me to make the transfer. Skrill has restricted my account twice now in 24 hours and denied me my funds for 2 days. The $200 deposit I made on the 12th I have yet to get my hands on.

I want to make you aware that Skrill are thieves. They cannot or will not give me any answers. I've been told they are working on it and I need to wait. I have requested to speak with managers all to be told," one will give me a call", which has never happened. I've reported them to the banking commission.

Due to Skrills sketchy business tactics I began looking into Skrill. This seems to be a common problem Skrill has with their customers.

When I signed up for Skrill nowhere did I agree to let this company hold my money hostage for their benefit. I can't get so much as a return phone call from someone in management. All I've heard for the last week from customer service is," I'm sorry, I'll notify my colleagues."

So whether you are or a partner or a customer of Skrill, do not expect any integrity from them. They will take your money and with no explanation say, "you will have to wait.

I deposited on this app so that I can use it on my forex trading but unfortunately this app is fvcking garbage and it won't let me deposit on my broker becase it is stated that I can't use the funds that I deposited. Due to my frustrations, I withdraw my account and sent a request but unfortunately I used wrong # that's why I requested to cancel my withdrawal request. The request was still on pending and sent a request last 9th of December but until now they wasn't able to resolve it and said that it will take less than 15 days to resolve it. But my question is, the request is still on pending, so why does it take a lot of time for them to cancel my withdrawal request? Why do they need to escalate my cancellation if the request is still on pending? I'm really frustrated on this stupid app and I wont recommend this app on others users. They will most likely scam your money. They have poor customer service. What a stupid idiots

Did my withdrawal from skrill but got half the cash but the rest didn't display on my account balance . I've tried reaching out but they keep saying the issue is being sorted but nothing comes up from my side is it a scum really

The worst platform ever. Even didn't receive withdrawn amount after 1.5 months. Support was replying initially with same replies that we are looking into it but now in last 15 days no reply from support. Bank says they didn't receive anything from Skrill. They are money snatchers and the worst platform ever I used. No one use this platform else you will lose your money.

I have been using Skrill since March this year and have sent a small transfer (around $100) once a month. Other than a few technical issues, I've had not problems making these payments until last month. Last month, when I tried to make a transfer, Skrill temporarily restricted my account, asking for further information to confirm my identity. I immediately provided this information including copies of my Australian Government-issued ID. Skrill then unrestricted my account, send me an email my account was verified and allowed me to make the transfer.

Today, I deposited $100 USD into my account in order to make a transfer. Skrill allowed me to make this deposit and charged me a fee of $2.50 USD for the deposit. I immediately attempted to send the same amount to the same person to whom I've sent a number of successful payments through Skrill in the past, but I was unable to make the transfer and Skrill notified me that my account had been temporarily restricted, without giving any reason.

I sent a support request to Skrill asking how I could un-restrict my account, and I received this response within a short period of time (attached as screenshot):

Dear Lisa Marlin,
Thank you for contacting the Skrill Help Team.

We would like to inform you that we have made the decision to discontinue our business relationship with you under the Skrill Terms and Conditions.

Please be advised that our decision is final and irreversible.

I have now attempted to access my Skrill account but I am no longer able to log in and am given the error "your account has been permanently closed." My bank account has been charged for both the $100 and $2.50 USD but I cannot access these funds to either transfer or recover them, nor has Skrill responded to my subsequent attempts to contact them since the above response.

I do not believe that I have violated their terms and conditions - Skrill has not provided any evidence of this, and they accepted my previous deposits and transfers of the same nature and to the same person. Furthermore, they now have possession of my funds which I cannot access, as well as charging me a fee for service which they didn't complete.

They did not complete my withdrawal in two months saying that they are experiencing problems with Turkish banks. When I asked them what can I do, they said it's better that I send the money in my account to another skrill user. My cousin opened a skrill account in England but before they verify his account they took the money in my account. And after verifying his account they did not transfer the money. So the money is lost now. If they do not solve this asap, I'll write everywhere that they are stealing money from people and start a social media campaign against them.

I received today a message from skrill saying that my account was enabled again, but this is not truth!

Actually, I can login on my account and convert USD to BRL, but I cannot take out the funds from this account.

If I try to send to someone else on skrill, it just says that I have 0 limit!

If I try to open a international transfer, it just says that it is not working for my acccount!

All your guys are doing is playing with me, blocking, asking for documents, saying that all is ok, but not allowing me to recover my money.

YOU HAVE BEEN DOING THIS FOR UNBELIEVABLE TWO MONTHS!!!

IT JUST LOOKS LIKE I HAVE BEEN A VICTIM OF A SCAM.

I know I cannot do anything against your company since I am just a person in Brazil and you dont even have office here.

But from now on, I will do everything to let people know how I have lost 900 usd and two months of my time being scammed by Skrill

In two months, I had more than 10 cases opened with the support, at least 10 calls and every kind of document has been sent to then, including passport, local documents, proof of address, bank statement, card statement.

I proved all my documents right but skrill banned my account. They accepted my ID, they accepted my phone and mail verification but they did not verify my location now they banned my account for good and I cannot reach my account so that I cannot get my money back! This is scamming.

Hello everyone,

My name is Yakov,
My account has been restricted for more than 7 months, and no one explains the reason?! I have a VIP account for more than 3-4 years.
I did everything that was requested by email ( changed email and password, sent my passport copy) but my account still has restrictions and no one can give me any update when they will remove the restrictions and why does it take so long.

Their service is terrible! They have never contacted me on their initiative, they have never been the first to write to me about the status of my account. In 7 months they have never provided me with an answer or update why restrictions were imposed on my account and when they will be removed. I called them many times, spent my money on international calls, and never received any answer about the reason for the restrictions. They ruined my family, our financial situation is dire.
Who can help me in this situation?

opened an account in May 2017 but I could not use the debit card which they sent. I have tried to close the account many times last year and this year, I found a service provider who worked perfectly. I tried to ask for my money back and just sent around in a circle. I tried the customer service complaints section, based in London and could not get through (-perhaps they were very busy !) I just want to close my account.

I made a mistake and gave the wrong account number to Skrill when doing a transfer from them to my Commonwealth Bank account in Australia. I have asked them 16 times now (inc phone calls and desperate cases opened on their site. They just keep fobbing me off and closing each online complaint submitted. The Commonwealth Bank cannot just drag the money out of someone else account due to my error. It is international law and basic procedure for Skrill to just simply request a reversal - very very simple procedure . Skrill refuse to do this for me - this has been going on since 5th November. They are a very unethical company based in the UK. They refuse to help me after 16 desperate pleas and just keep fobbing me off and don't care that someone else has my $5000. They refuse to undertake a very simple and basic internationally accepted procedure - I am on my last legs financially and this $5000 was supposed to be a life saving loan from a friend. Absolutely frantic - they refuse to help over and over and over - such a simple and basic procedure for them to help me. Beware to all Skrill customers - they are an unethical Company - Glenn

When doing a transaction (withdraw) i mistakenly added the wrong last 2 numbers at the end of my bank account number i immediately contacted skrill advising them of this mistake so far i have sent 3 emails and still no response i have tried to contact them by telephone and a prerecorded voice comes on saying this telephone number is not assigned and then my call is disconnected.It has been almost 5 days since this transaction and i think they will not contact me,I tried contacting them before about another matter and that was about 2 weeks ago ...still no reply.What terrible customer service.They have also tried to withdraw money from my bank account as i was advised by my bank but i have a security feature where the bank lets me know before a transaction can take place.I wish i had know about this terrible company before.I know i will not receive my money so i will chalk this up to experience.Please do not use this company they are terrible with terrible customer support.

I deposit in my bank 150 euros and than wanted to upload to my skrill account. It gave me error first time , second and 3-rd time . the error was not from my bank but from skrill. than i go to my bank and 150 euros were vanished . they stole my money and now are saying to me that your bank has the money. i have proves and everything else . contact with live chat support and they dont give solution. i dont know what to do now , i am terrible sad , how they can stole me so easily.

I tried to access my account with Skrill, it saids I need to update my password for security reasons, the system emails a link and they send you a new password to access your account, they only problem is they text the activation number to your cell phone, I done have a cell phone Iinked to my skill account, I have tried calling them and the phone numbers don't work, can anyone give me a working number?This company sound very dodgy, Everyone here can register a class action and put a bad credit rating against them and this will stop them from trading.

I stay in the RSA and have busy for a month setting up my account. I have contacted my banking services to cancel all funds that have been or are going to be withdrawn from your company. - my ??? account number Once again I do not know who you are and how you managed to get my bank account number.
