The worst bank in existence. You will not even be able to make a monthly payment for your card until, instead of an automatic system, they switch to more than four representatives, and no one decides anything. Then, they will switch to the security department, which will block the account. A representative from the security department was rude and released racist comments. After an hour of these torments, she disconnected and blocked an account. After an hour and a half of lost time, no one can unlock anything for elementary automatic payment access and send it to the bank branch. If you have health or pressure problems, do not open accounts with this bank. Otherwise, high pressure, asthma attack, and nervous shock are guaranteed by TD bank security service. I have not seen a more unprofessional and boorish attitude towards clients in any bank. If in the security department the staff at this level you can imagine the status of this office. So if you care about your health and time, never use this horrible bank.
I have my RRSP in GIC with no connection to the market. The interest rate is set. When I get my statements, it DO NOT show the the change, in fact it rounds down. I get upset and go into the bank and state that they are robbing me. The TD staff then have to print out all of my investment so they can prove that they are not taking my money. This results in a lot of problems on both sides. I was told that the statements are printed INCORRECTLY KNOWINGLY by TD. The reason is that it is a computer programing problem that the bank done want to fix. I long time I read about a fraud that was done by banking employees. He programmed the computer to round down the interest and deposit the few pennies of the correct interest in his own account. This went on for years until his account grew to large and he got caught. His fraud netted him over a million dollars. Until the problem is corrected, I will continue to cause a problem every time I get an inaccurate statement. TD and other banks have record profits. Put some of the money into the resource the get your computer personal to FIX the statements so they accurately reflect peoples' investments. I ALWAYS calculate the interest earned on EVERY investments and inaccurate statements results in more work on my part and on the part of your staff as they locate, print all the documentation required to give me an accurate number
I was on hold for 1 hour and 30 minutes the first time and 1 hour and 59 minutes for the second time to just get a hold of someone for my mother who has terminal illness, and this customer service supervisor Rukshini said they cannot serve my mom because she is on a 3-way-call and asked her to call by herself again. She said she cannot call out nor help with anything, and then she hung up on us. After reading the comment below it seems like TD Canada has problem serving the seniors and people with disability. Everyone is gonna get old one day if you are lucky, I wouldn't recommend anyone putting their money in TD Canada.
Bad merge of credit card accounts with td bank account! Why shutdown TD card services if your merge wasnt done correctly on March 14?! Such awful IT Mgt and customer service. By the march 20th i still couldnt access my credit card info online. After waiting for 50mins on the phone they asked that i call back again in the morning as "processing" is in progress!!! So Im supposed to take time off work, wait for customer service for another hour, and ask them to merge my account?! RIDICULOUS?!!
Have been trying to connect withTD customer service for several days. The number on the back of my access card is 18003611180. Every time I call it says "they are experiencing high voile of calls and no longer taking calls".
After googling another number for TD, the wait was 45 mins and still no customer service rep.
With all the complaints, I wonder why they continue to get worse.

I have MORTGAGE INSURANCE with Td Bank. Every 2 weeks it is a payment base of the total amount of the mortgage. If lump sum payment will be go towards the mortgage, the mortgage insurance payment has to be decreased.
I have paid Td Bank lump sum of 40k towards my mortgage from 2018 till now but my mortgage insurance payment was not decreased.
I had to request for mortgage insurance adjustment payment and the return of all the extra funds that accumulated for the last 2-3 years.
If you don't ask, you will not going to receive what belongs to you.
Td bank does not inform you that you will get a decrease in your mortgage insurance and do not inform you that they did an error.
Td continues to keep your your extra money, without any intention to return it till you start some action of demands.
Is this illegal? Wondering
ASK ASK ASK in writing.
PS. when I paid the lump sum I have requested if anything else needed my attention regarding documents, insurance etc. and I was told.....EVERYTHING IS fine. No action needed.
EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED WITH TD BANK
I received their new credit card and set up a payment of over 300.00 and they took the money out of my checking account on two consecutive days. I called and spoke with Cc services and they said they would reverse the 2nd payment back to my checking account within 5-8 business days. Of course day nine and they didn't reverse the duplicated transaction. Worst customer service ever. This is going to have to be a complaint to bbb to get my money back. And I have to go through the hassle of getting a new bank. Ugh.
I've been trying to dispute Chargers that I haven't been made by me with no success. Every time I call out and talk to someone they're giving me different stories that they make up. I decided to ask for a supervisor they made me wait for half an hour and I hang up. The worst customer service. I should close my account hand have my friends switch Banks.
I have a car loan through TD bank I contracted covid virus a few months ago being 58 years old was a rough go. Company I worked for fired me because of days missed. I was lucky enough to get another job rather quickly. Td bank called often and I discussed my situation every day with them. I was 30 days late on car loan. Every day they would call multiple times and I set a date for car payment. I also was concerned about being on my 90 day job probation period. I was not allowed personal phone calls. Phone was mandatory for my job. Td bank would call multiple times a day. I asked them please call after 5PM eastern time because I could not afford to be fired. All this time the multiple people from td bank seem to be putting this information into computer system. But yet multiple times a day they would call during my working hours. I got fired because they continued to call. So my payment that I scheduled can not be. I have to use my last paycheck to find another job. I told td bank and they said they will continue calling me multiple times a day. Will I ever be able to keep a job with this car loan? I don't know anymore. I am trying my best. They just don't care
I open a small business account in January and was told that I was given the best account after explaining to the customer service about my business, ( I started my business at a very difficult time to start any business as COVID was just starting to close up our lives) with everything going on and me focusing all my time on growing my business, only to find out 8 months later that the SERVICE FEES came close to $5000, trying to kill my business before I can get it up and running. The SERVICE FEES is KILLING MY BUSINESS, was given back $500 after I call in, which to me is like calling me a fool or telling me to go to hell, call the second person and was offered $1000, is like they don't care about what is about to happen to my young business. A business that is starting up n making less than $600 a month, service fee is more than the profit and now onto the business capital. Made two transactions at drive thru. Two checks with one deposit slip for credit card and heloc. Acct # on bottom of each check. Declined recipes. Got a voicemail from Camille asking me to call about my transactions. I called, Camille gone for the day and nobody knows anything! No one offered to check my accounts, told to call Monday!
Poor service and communication. A lot of passing the buck!
Refinanced with TD Bank. Once I locked in and waited several weeks for a status Stephen Morrison stopped returning my phone calls. He would email me every time I left a voicemail but never called me back once he signed me up. I called so many times and he never answered but mysteriously emailing right after. Pretty frustrating, very defensive people with poor customer service skills. Simple Refi took 90 days to complete.
TD Bank bill pay does not work, so they assess you a late fee. Then when they "reverse" it, after you providing proof their system failed, they add it back on as a charge that is not listed anywhere else. They are a fraud and deliberately make sure they mis-charge you.
Every time I go to the TD Bank branch on Chambers bridge road brick New Jersey either one or both of the ATMs don't work and there's a line out the door they need to open the Beaverton boulevard branch back up whatever brainchild decided to close that was a moron so let's get something together here okay
Customer Service is not customer centric.
Expect nothing more than the 101 cut/paste responses of empathy + apologies for inconvenience. Anything beyond that becomes a lot of effort (and often failure.) Rather than focusing on customer needs, they are there defending the company, all the time. Defensive modes, closing tickets as quickly as possible.... almost never there to take the steps needed to get a topic resolved and ZERO ownership.
Tried to call TD Bank for assistance. Said it was 10 minute wait, but it took 20 minutes when a customer service person picks up. THEN, I was put on hold for another 15 minutes before we could discuss the problem.
Looks to me they are required to pick-up within 20 minutes then put you back on hold until they can get to you. After all that, I was told to go to a branch (they call it a "store").
The "store" was busy, looks like it was short on help. Nobody looked up, nobody offered help, nobody seemed to care so I walked out.
This happened in Florida.
