Well, I awoke Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012 with a power outage. After stumbling around my house,hitting my toes on chairs,and wondering what to do, what to do, I needed to clear the fuzzies from my brain. I called TXU because I love talking to a recording. It made me listen to the options. After I called back-you don't even want to know why-I decided I better listen. Of course I just knew my power outage would not be restored until 10:00pm! I attempted to restore a face with makeup in the dark. No coffee! What would I do? My routine...shattered, gone. What if I had delicate medicine in the fridge? The fridge? How would I save all the food--leftovers, out-of-date milk, something that used to be meatloaf? Oops, the lights came on. (Had it even been 40 minutes?) Nope, 30. What will I complain about now? Thank you, TXU and ONCOR!
