I can certainly understand why your customer service department only has a 2.9 rating!!! Most unhelpful customer service I've seen other than Comcast!!!!

Bought a watch for $50.00 , still under warranty and in order to service it, this has to be sent to the US and pay shipping / handling fees close to $25.00 . Half the price of the value, ridiculous . Be aware to not purchase a TIMEX watch, lousy and total rip-off warranty
I ordered a replacement band for my son's watch over a month ago and have received no follow up from them. I have had to call them several times over the course of this month to ask about the status of the order, and keep being told that it's on back order. The woman I spoke to today told me it's one of their most popular watch models! Which doesn't help explain why the band would be so hard to get.

Checked the net for Chennai dealer ,so went to P&ORR show room service ,and they refused to accept the watch under repair due to warranty
Advised to go to Timex watch service (company owned )
More over not revealing the service centre details and we have to search the service centre in Anna Nagar .Chennai .India more than one hour
What is use of havinga dealer , who is repairing the watch undercash but under warranty .not possible

Received ladies watch for Christmas 2015. Within one month it had stopped working. Kohl's generously exchanged for another watch (same style) even though I did not have receipt.
Six months later, the second watch stops working just like the first one. Sent to Timex to have battery tested, etc. This watch is still under warranty; however, I was charged $8 shipping costs to have it sent back to me. There was no explanation in the envelope they sent me to explain what the problem was.
If a product is still under warranty, Timex should go all the way to repair the watch and return it to the customer in working condition at NO cost to the customer. They are selling inferior products to trusting customers who remember the days when Timex was a good, solid product you could trust. No longer the case. I should not have two defective watches within seven months of purchase. And, I should NOT be paying them to send it back to me.
I bought TIMEX at SM delgado Iloilo Philippines last Feb. 2016 as a my birthday gift for my husband . After 2 months the crown was broke so we went to sm city timex to have it fixed that was on the 28th of May. They advised us that they need to send it to Manila for repair and told us that somebody will call us for the confirmation if how much is the replacement of crown cost after a month I called for follow-up since no one called us Rose told me fro repair center that they will have it fast tract. Now its's been two months no call received. Even just to inform us for the status. Why is your service like this can you do anything for this.?
The strap on my Iron-man Triathlon broke sometime prior to April 2016. Scouted around the wed to purchase a replacement but nothing reasonably price was out there. Called Timex customer service for a replacement and was repeatedly told "we are out and expect a shipment in a a couple of days, or weeks, or by the end of the month." Still the same old line and it is July 5th, 2016, three months later at least.
Customer service always polite & friendly but I need this watch to monitor my heart rate when exercising.
Extremely poor inventory control to run out of replacement bands for a strap that looks like it will break in a year or so. Teabags2
Second expedition bought in two years. First stopped working completely and the second loses 15-20 minutes every few hours. Customer service a joke. Just purchased 2 watches from another company and will never go back to Timex. It's a shame to watch the demise of a once great company.
I love the styling, features, and price point of this watch, but..... the stem fell out of the watch on just the 3rd day. No issues with returning the watch for repair, but I was told to expect up to 30 days turn-around. After multiple phone calls I got the watch back in 46 days. In my first 56 days of ownership, the watch was in my hands for just 6.
My exact model didn't have any reviews, but further research on similar Timex watches indicate frequent stem failures.
Service people were very friendly and responsive but the watch design is flawed as is their service process. Watch was returned with a $8 invoice for "handling" as stated in the fine print of the limited warranty
I am a veteran and have purchased several Timex watches over the years. I purchased a Timex watch at the P. X. (military Post Exchange) several months ago and 2 months later it stopped working. I thought it was the battery, but it was not. Timex customer service phone number doesn't work nor does the email address. This is a terrible way to do business. I always believed in the quality of a Timex watch but after this experience, I am greatly disappointed.
I bought a timex watch aboard a south African airways flight last year, and after some months the crown feel off and disappeared. I live in Brazil and so far no one could get it repaired. I'd like to know if it's possible to get it fixed on cape Town, because I'll be there in December. The model is very similar to the Timex Expedition Paracord Watch, except for the band. I Bought a Timex indigo watch in January and was caught out in the rain. Now moisture has accumulated inside of it.My watch states that it is WR360m,"Can I get a replacement?" If I send it in to you? I personally think that no moisture should of got in. I don't have the recipe from when I purchased it. I really like this watch and have hopes of yous to replace it. Thank you for your time. I have bought 2 Timex Explorer watches-Model T49931-nice looking w'gray nylon band & indiglo night light. Both from amazon. 1st failed in 4 months, 2nd failed in 3 months!
amazon won't take it back.Timex used to have extraordinary return policy, if your watched failed within 2-3 years, you would ship it to AZ and for $5 Timex would send the same or comparable new watch. I ordered a watch from Timex, it was supposed to come in 10 days which it didn't and order has been "pending". The toll free # on the website doesn't work so I called the Corporate #. I have been waiting for a customer service rep for 15 minutes so far, terrible customer service!

Before the order was processed and shipped out I called to cancel (within hours) and was told that once it is in the system they can't do anything about it. They told me all online stores function this way, including amazon (FALSE! Any other online store I've ordered from, including Amazon, have made cancellations, changes in the order, additions, etc. without any hassle if you advise them in time).
They said I have to receive it then send it back.
The whole thing is frustratingly redundant and unnecessary, with a potential month long wait, a risk of shipping issues and the possibility of them claiming the package was lost in the mail and refusing to refund me at all.
Waiting to see how it plays out, but so far their "system" is the most idiotic I've encountered in all my years of online shopping, and claiming all online stores work the same way is an outright lie.
To clarify, cancellation is not 1. It's 0, as in impossible. Once you give them your money the wheels start spinning and they can't be stopped. (also a lie and their refusal to make an interdepartmental phone call)
If by some miracle it all works out, I'll come back here and leave a positive review. Otherwise, just assume i'm grinding my teeth in frustration
I sent a watch to be returned along with an extra band that I had bought. I also sent a Expedition to be repaired. I called and talked to a wonderful lady who gave me a RMA number and told me that's all that I had to do to get my items returned and repaired. She didn't tell me that I needed to put the number from my watch on the invoice so that I could have it repaired. I put the items in the same box that I received my new watch. When I called yesterday I talked to customer service person and her supervisor that needed to learn how to deal with the public. I was finally able to get the refund for my new and band, but I was told that because I had not put the number from the back of the old watch on the invoice, I was out of luck and it was my fault and they would not do anything to get my watch fixed. I knew that the watch was not under warranty, and I was planning to pay for the repairs. The CSR didn't even give me a chance to explain that. She would sent me a paper and for $20.00 I could buy another watch. So the watch that I had for the last 10 years, and one that I had sent in before for repairs, was gone and they told me that I was out of luck. Finally I talked to a supervisor and was told the same thing. I told them that I was 30 year customer, but because of how I was treated, I will NEVER EVER buy another Timex product. I work in retail and I deal with mad customers every day, but I have never ever been dealt with this like or before. I know that I'm sending this on deaf ears and nothing will be done, because you probably think that I'm just a upset customer, and that I really don't count. You can do what you want with this comment, you will probably just push delete.
I've owned timex watches for 20+ years and they are great. The customer service however is the worst. After ordering a new watch from Timex in Arkansas, it took 4 calls to get it finally shipped, then the watch was broken. They sent a second one but could not offer express and the return box they sent was too small for the broken watch. Terrible terrible terrible.
I bought Timex Ironman Easy trainer , GPS Speed + Distance on Feb 19, 2014 . the lace is broken and I brought it to service center. The answer is the model is out of date. There is no spare part. They told me to leave the watch there and offer me 50 percent discount coupon. I think this is stupid service. Why do I have to pay again to buy new watch.
