Esquire Magazine

I keep getting invoices for Esquire Magazine that I have never subscribed to and do not want! I am a women and am not interested in that magazine. I did subscribe to good housekeeping and paid my bill. Please remove me from the unpaid balance list for a magazine I did not request. Any further invoices will be given to my lawyer for lawsuit purposes. This is harassment and unlawful collection. Please be advised.

Wow!!! What a racket you have going. I cancelled my subscription and you keep sending and billing. Apparently, you don't take no for an answer. It's too bad too because the magazine was fine, I just didn't want it anymore. I will tell anyone that asks me...DO NOT SUBSCRIBE!!

I have never had such trouble "unsubscribing" to a website before!

I am fed up with you r renewal notices that have nothing to do with remaining subscription months. I just renewed subscription that doesn't run out until 2019.

Cancel account number Dr oz the good life gift subscription to Anna wasik as I said before no continuous service on any magazine order. U make it impossible to cancel magazine online but so easy to order. Forward this cancellation

WARNING - be very cautious in subscribing to Oprah magazine from Hearst. 1. They try to auto-renew your subscription or a gift subscription at higher rates than you can get online. 2. even though you call them to remove auto-renew, they will still do it. 3. They will send you invoices when no money is due and you must call them to verify that no money is due 4. If they bill you early for a renewal (sometimes 6 months early) and you pay them.. then realize your mistake and call to tell them, they will cancel you starting today, making you lose issues you already paid for. Overall this is a slimy unethical company whose business practices skirt the law and take advantage of people.

I never signed up for continuous service and did not appreciate receiving a bill today for the next year. So I cancelled my subscription only to find out I will not receive the remainder of my issues through November. It is too bad as I enjoy your magazine, but am not interested in continuous service. Thank you.

I am absolutely appalled at the horrible, scamming intimidation tactics employed by Hearst Magazines!! It is almost impossible to cancel, customer service is rude and unhelpful and their pushy sales technique reminds me of a desperate carny on the last day of the county fair, trying to hawk his cheap and useless wares!! I have finally gotten in touch with a service rep who was abrupt and unhelpful, would not give me her name and then hung up on me without giving me any confirmation that my problem had been properly handled! Disgusting, Hearst! Just disgusting, you greedy corporate pigs, you!!!!

I will NEVER subscribe to magazine through Hearst. They are a dishonest disgrace of a company. A company that practices deceitful marketing. I participate in some other promotions only to find that I have somehow accepted a subscription to some rag that I have no interest in. Then, if I decide to discontinue this subscription that I never asked for in the first place, I have to mail the bill back to cancel. Look, I understand that print magazines are a dying medium. But this is the lowest form of scum marketing. I Will neither accept nor pay for any subscription. I, furthermore will not return your bill marked "cancel". I will do nothing because I never asked for or wanted your garbage.

I got a scam phone call from saying they were from Hearst Magazines, and that I got a $250 gift card and some magazine offers. I recently had a subscription to Cosmo, but it has since expired. While on the phone call, thinking it was legitimate, they asked for my credit card number; when I refused to give it over the phone, they hung up on me. I have also had missed calls from this number:

Hello my name is Jonathan Rodriguez and have 2 print subscriptions to one ESQUIRE and the other for ELLE and I have been trying and trying and keep trying to uptain the digital edition on Google play but every time I try on my mobile phone is allways says website unavailable because I don't want to carry any magazine around I keep them home so I'm asking please for help if it's possible if not I don't want to bother anyone but it'll be cool

I used that number and got right through. I feel so stupid. All the magazines i have been getting were auto renewal. Which means if i ordered a magazine for 12$ as a promo when it renews automatically the price will go up at least three times that amount !!!!You are not notified just charged on your credit card. I could cry wondering how much money they took from me. I should check my credit card statements better. Please be smarter than me. You will lose alot of money.

I called to get Phone # to renew Dr Oz magazine. I called Hearst publishing in NYC. I spoke with Bhem. She was the Rudest, most Obnoxious person. All I wanted was the phone # for Dr. Oz. I simply asked if she could connect me and you would have thought I asked for her to break her right arm. In fact when I received the number for Dr. Ox customer service, my husband her heard conversation ( I had on speaker) could not believe I was going to call and renew. The Dr. Oz gentleman was lovely. With so many unemployed, I wonder why Bhem still remains. Ugh!!! Hoping conversation was recorded!!!

Site says reach a live person by pressing #, but that does not work. Expiration date on "new" renewal offer shows J/F 17 but customer service automated system shows correct date of J/F 18. You send renewal offers when subscriptions are not nearly at end. Almost all comments on customer service are very negative, with good reason.

I called when I discovered that I had been charged $34.97 for an "automatic renewal" to Oprah, after I had subscribed for $5.00. I never received any magazines, from October 2015. When I contacted the Customer service department, the representative stated that the Post Office had advised them that the magazines were undeliverable. Why did they wait until I called to see why I had been charged so many months ago; they could have returned the money by refunding it to my credit card as soon as they knew that they could not deliver their product. Oh, right. I didn't need my money refunded because they needed to use it.
