I have replaced my Mr. Coffee THREE TIMES already, and eery one of them rusts terribly on the hot plate. It's very grating to mvoe the carafe in adn ut with teh scrthy sounds of the ruted plate.

This 3rd oe also has another problem. This one has a matte finish. And it is hard to clean The smooth finish was easy to wipe clean, but the matte one needs scrubbing with a rough cleaner.

Mr coffee 12 cup programmable, overflows basket, filter runs grounds into carafe, sometimes leaks out on counter. Very very disappointed. Used filters or baskets, the incoming flow into baskets exceeds the outflow to carafe. Heats water nicely. Just the fill rates are out if balance.

I had a basic model, Mr. Coffee 4-cup maker for more than 10 years before it failed. This unit even travelled the East Coast without incident. The "new and improved design" is nothing but a cheaply produced, China-made product that did not last three (3) months. It constantly leaked; did not brew; shut off mid-brew; shut off right after brewing; left grounds in pot; coffee not dripping into pot, etc.
When submitting a complaint, I was met with an email from a lazy, attitude-filled representative who responded with a computer-generated template that he did not bother to even fill in, i.e, (your name here). Although he did include his insults by calling my intellect into the matter, as he felt that "running a cleaning cycle" will fix all problems and that if it does not work, "it is always because the consumer is not following instructions". When I refuted his claim, he became more condescending and insulting. He also refused to replace my unit "because I could not produce a receipt or the date of purchase". I said it was a gift and he told me to ask the giver. If that failed, he said he could not replace the unit "because the warranty would not apply".

I have informed my friends about this treatment from Mr. Coffee and they, like myself, will never purchase another Mr. Coffee product. Even involving my attorney will not force Mr. Coffee to improve on their cheaply-made junk from China or improve the insulting attitudes of the most inept, unskilled and hopelessly stupid people they hire.

i replaced my mr coffee iced tea maker in January 2023, no i did not get the warranty. after washing the pitcher, it slipped out of my hand and hit the kitchen floor. the plastic cracked and the pitcher leaked. you do not have a replacement pitcher for the iced tea maker. i measured it and the size is to tall and off the shelve pitchers will not fit the tea basket inside. so i went out and bought a new machine, liking the convenience of the ice tea maker. but now the newest pitcher that i just replaced in February is leaking. now i didn't put it in the dishwasher, i am 70 and my husband is 85 so we don't abuse our kitchen items. my point, i will never buy another mr coffee product again. your products are cheap and i will no longer support you company. also know that we have quite a larger family and i will not be buying you stuff for gifts either.

I purchased a Mr Coffee machine and it started leaking coffee all over my floor 3 months after purchase date, igot a new one from Mr Coffee and same thing happened..Mr coffee is now refusing to replace the defective maker claiming that it is out of warranty (only by 2 weeks on the original maker, not the replacement which only lasted 3 months) the newest response from Mr Coffee is that i can take the product to a service repair shop...Really????

Coffeemaker is not satisfactory, open the top water pours off it. After brewing coffee, the water runs down on the burner / hotplate. Makes a mess to clean up, this is not satisfactory. Used Mr Coffee products for years. No problems till now

This is my 2nd Mr.Coffee. I thought my first one was kind great until
The grounds started leaking into my coffee regularly. But everyone raved about the maker so I got another one. I'm about 11-12 months in- same problem. I won't buy a Mr.coffee again. Such a disappointment.

Bought a coffee pot. No auto turn off. Have bought other mr coffee pots all had AUTO turn off. Very disappointed Now I had to purchase another pot for safety reasons
This pot was 49.00. Other one was 39.00
I did see some at this time for 19.00. Felt that was too cheap. Don't even want the old pot to go to the needy because of safety hazard. Hope you can rectify situation

We bought the programmable 12 cup coffee maker 2 months ago it quit working so purchased a cheaper model got it home ran vinager water thru it and two pots of clear water made a pot of coffee and the smell of plastic was so strong couldn't drink it. Lost another customer will buy Black And Decker from now on.

Coffee maker stops brewing half way through the brew. Contacted company and they needed the same info three times. The last three mr. Coffee makers have all had issues. Company has lost a customer

Customer service is the absolute worst. They're playing games with my refund and refusing to send it despite having my returns for weeks.

I purchased a Mr. Coffee pot about 8 months ago. It stopped working. Because I still had the receipt showing it was not.a year old yet, I was sent a replacement pot. Have used it about two months and it has stopped working. I tried the suggestions given on the Mr. Coffee site and it still will not brew coffee. One of the suggestions was to add vinegar and water and brew it through the system. Well, since the pot will not come on (I only hear 3 beeps), the water cannot go through the system to clean it.

Mr coffee 5 cup pot only heats the coffee to Luke warm, I have to reheat in the microwave right after I pour it into a cup and it's a waist of coffee grounds because it's not hot enough to brew the coffee correctly. Waist of money on pot and grounds

Brand new used once. Won't brew. Place coffee pot in and it pushes up the coffe grind holder and will not drip into coffee pot.

I received a replacement pot and it is fine. The rep was very nice in handling the problem. Now two more boxes have arrived. Not opened but are same pot. One box rattles as if glass broken. What should I do? If return to you please send instructions. I have called 800 number repeatedly but told won't go through. Help!

Have purchased Mr. Coffee all my life but the quality has greatly deteriorated the last couple years. The one I just bought (last one lasted 5 months) is not at all user-friendly for the elderly. The skimpy instructions do not even tell you how to program the delay or what the routine maintenance entails(available only on website). My old eyes do not do well with screen-print, so I will be returning my new one. Prices continue to rise and more corners get cut. I am done with Mr. Coffee and they have lost another faithful customer!

New mr coffee leaks when brewing . Looks like plastic insert under the basket was glued in backwards. Coffee hole is towed the back so when coffee pot is inserted coffee does not have a large enough hole for coffee to flow into pot. Returned coffee maker to Target today and after 30 years of owning Mr Coffee makers bought a Cuisinart. You have now lost a loyal customer. You need to improve quality checks to ensure this does not happen again. Would not recommend this product to friends.

My Mr. Coffee exploded breaking into several pieces. Fortunately no one was hurt, not being near the coffee pot. It was very shocking. Will my Mr. coffee be replaced or ,,?? It was a small one--4 or 5 cup.

Hello we have the newest 12 cup mr coffee maker we use the correct filters and have coffee grounds all the time I believe the basket may be wrong the coffee maker is only 5 months old

I was using my Juice Machine by Mr. Coffee and the whole thing exploded into pieces all over me and my kitchen and dining room. It literally pulled itself out of the electrical socket and landed at my feet . I wear glasses thank goodness because if not I would have had it in my eyes. This was very scary.

O rating for Mr Coffee I was sold a defected coffee machine from 2016 in Feb of 2020 no fault of mine but Mr Coffee refuse to help me

The young lady, Gabrielle, was very helpful. I called about a coffee maker that happened to be on recall and she gave me all the info I needed to get a new coffee maker. I was not aware of the recall before I called and she could have let me go without dealing with the recall since I was out of warranty. Now I will be getting a new machine. Thanks.

Contacted after MULTIPLE times of trying to get our coffee maker to work, I called the company for help. The representative set up to send us a new one right away. Too bad it doesn't work that well. But I still appreciate that they didn't give me any hassle and are just sending a new one.

Called customer service because our coffeepot won't turn on after having it for only three months... Spoke with a representative and she was very friendly and helpful. She said they'll be sending us a replacement! How awesome and easy!
