my Business email account has been out for days ... dozens of phone calls an equal amount
of assurances it would be corrected .. never fixed .. never escalated the issue as promised multiple times.. they are terrible and very unreliable.

THE WORST PLEASE DON'T USE THESE THIEVES. I had a plan of $70 a month but I found out that they were taking double the amount out of my account every month. In fact, they were going to charge me 3 times a month. When I found out and I confronted them, they told me that They didn't know why that was happening but they didn't give me my money back so I got a new $50 plan after they begged me not to go with another company, and to my surprise just a month later they cut off my service for lack of payment. $275, imagine and my plan had been paid 30 days before for a plan of $50,,, no, these are THIEVES AND THEY DO NOT COMPLY WITH THE AGREEMENTS

Made and appointment from 8am to 11am for them to install fiber optics. I see an optimum truck on my block they park a few houses up then leave. I call customer service and they say they are working on it and should be completed between 5 and 8pm. So now I need to sit home from 5 to 8 pm also. So why make appointments? Like people don't have work themselves.

Optimum customer service representatives for BILLING are SO NASTY. Rude and unprofessional including the supervisor. Gives no explanations of anything and gives you attitude for everything. Unlike any customer service I've ever experienced. Will not be using optimum and will tell my friends to cancel their optimum.

The monopoly that is Optimum (once Brookhaven cablevision) now offers a mobile service with incredible offers and plans and lies and deceit to the likes that I cannot begin to mention. If you sign on to a plan you will get a free Iphone 15... well that is a direct, out and out lie !!! and when you try to be amiabl, trying to work out a solution, they offer nothing BUT SORRY FOR THE MISINFORMATION. They know they have you by the throat, you already sent back your current Iphone, you are now 3 monyhs into the plan so you can't amend the plan and they screw you over every single chance they get and know you have no choice and can get away with it. I will now make it my business to never recco' this company at all cost. Buyer beware !!!

Your service screwup almost every day you over charge for your service if you had competition you would be out of business am going to ny state to see if i lose service I should be giving credit for the day every time you go out . I will be sending this out on face book and tic tok and every forum I can find and to all government that I can find .your company just plane SUCKS

Horrible customer service from Optimum. I called yesterday to set up an appointment to have a technician reinstall the internet connection at my house. I was hung up on about 4 times by a representative named Amelia. Then I decided to cancel my service with Optimum due to the subpar customer service. Well...that was no different because I was hung up about 5 more times after that. I had asked for a manager and the representative I was speaking to claimed he was in charge. His name was Tristan. When I asked for the contact information to report incidents, he laughed at me over the phone. I will never, EVER, sign up with Optimum ever again.

Optimum charged us $200 for 2 months for latest fees that there system generated in regards to them not taking automatic payments. Scam in itself. When I tried to talk to them they bullied and. Talked over me. This was the forth time I'm a year I'd been over charged when in contract. They are nothing more then thieves who will lie and steal from there customers. They send equipment you didn't order and then try to charge you another $50 a month for service your already paying for. They need to be shut down!!!

They refused to redirect me to tech support until I could articulate the problem. The problem was simply "no signal". The automated troubleshooter insisted that the issue could be remedied remotely and because I have two cable boxes I MUST verify which of the two I was having problems with. In order for them to troubleshoot the correct box I needed to identify the box by setting the channel to 99. If I could get a picture and was able to change channels I wouldn't be calling them. What's worst is that the AI automated voice kept repeating the same thing! "Set TV to channel 99" or we can't help you. That's like a mechanic instructing someone whose car broke down that they need to "drive" it to the garage so he can repair it. What was more ridiculous? Being told by a computer to tune into a channel that requires a "working" TV with a cable signal which I don't have and is the reason I'm calling? Or venting and screaming obscenities at a robot computer that asks me the same question over and over and over again?

I've only been with Optima for two months and have had to have service techs to the house SIX times. I had COMCAST for 30 years but was forced to switch to Optima. Even though I moved within the same zip code I could no longer remain with COMCAST in the 30 years with COMCAST I can count on one hand how many times I needed a service tech to correct a problem. Optimum has exceeded that in only TWO months.

11/22/23: called re a month; 1st call: 10:39am (17 min), call disconnected-no call back. 2nd call: 11:01am (18 min); both calls with Anthony Nadawattie, located in Newark, NJ. He told me my new price would be: 12/7/23 &$119.13; beginning 1/7/24 price would be $118.99 for 12 months. I repeatedly confirmed prices and he assured me those were the prices. We hung up and I noticed that a channel I was watching was no longer available.

Received email 2:06pm asking for feedback. Gave Anthony good review which I'd like to take back because he outright lied!!

11/22/23: I called again at 4:04pm (40 min); spoke to Patrick, Long Island. He assured me he'd set channels back. Amount would be $118 beginning 12/7/23-12/7/24, taxes included.

Received email with changes to my account-which I didn't request-and the monthly charges were $139.99

Patrick also lied!!

Called back 6:45pm (35 min); spoke with Lenny who informed me that the prices I was given by both Anthony and Patrick weren't correct. Lenny offered $30 credit on next invoice, but thereafter amount would be $121 plus taxes!

What is going on????

I want hat both Anthony and Patrick offered me: $118, taxes included, for 12 months!

Terrible service! 3 weeks without any services! The company's representatives just pretend that they can help and are saying their apologies and are not helping. The technician came to our house to fix a couple of not working tv channels and broke the connections for the land phone and internet that were working before his visit. Since that visit we can't get any productive help. Only verbal apologies! Just ridiculous situation!

I hope all these bad ratings are not kept confidential and to let Optimum know the really bad customer service everyone gets. I called to find out if I can get the new Gateway. Long story short I had set up the appointment, even got credits, and a pretty good deal. Then I had to call back 3 times to find out why didn't show up for the appointment and get this, no records on file of an appointment or what was discussed!!!! I think each person I spoke to, their bosses said no way on the good monthly price-who knows what went wrong. I can't wait to start working on getting rid of Optimum Cablevision.

Since OPTIMUM has taken took over. The quality of care has gone down severely. Prior to them taking over . I was able to call my sons pediatrician and talk to the nurses. Now you can't even get appointment two days in advance with our pediatrician. This is Absolutely disgusting!!! The only reason ,I continue to go there . Is for the pediatrician I see .She is great!!! Dr.dodard's highly recommend!! NOT OPTIMUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Optimum is not the company you want to spend your hard earned money with. They like to rob their customers fraudulently and over charge for services. In this day in age its best to pay for internet and use the apps like the fire stick or pay separately for channels like Bet or starz. It's wY cheaper and you would save lots of money. They sent me an automated text asking if I wanted to pay a bill that wasn't even due yet I specifically said no and they still took my money fraudulently. Let's stop supporting businesses that don't know how to treat their customers.

Optimum makes cancellation to be a most difficult experience. Intentionally. I told them to cancel "everything" and was given a big hassle because I did not state the individual services I wanted to cancel. Then I was asked why I was cancelling and was hung up on by 2 different Indian individuals for giving answers that included "your services suck" and "I am not required to answer your questions" This "company" provides intermittent internet service and I just want to be done with them. Call attempt #4 in progress.

Unfortunately Optimum is the only high speed internet in my area. I've been using them for years and it's always been a hassle. They entice new subscribers with low temporarily discounted fees, then steadily raise them without notice or even acknowledgment that they have done so. The charges can rise to outrageous amounts. It's time consuming and difficult to get them on the phone. Chat is only with a bot and their website hides pricing from their existing customers. Even when existing customers are eligible for a discount they can be refused. This month my bill went up $15. There was no prior notice, no acknowledgment that it had occurred or change in service. My experience over the years has been that they will continue to raise the charge until you call and complain. They make this very time consuming with long waits. If you have another option for h

I presently have a service appointment for Optimum with a 5pm-8pm. I received a message saying that I was the next customer and the technician should be here by 6:33 pm. It is now 8:29pm and still no technician. I called Optimum and got a representative with such a heavy accent that I could hardly understand what she was saying. What I did get out of the conversation was that someone would be here in about 20 minutes.
The problem I am having, with the tv service, is channels 7, and ESPN constantly scramble. Nobody can fix the problem remotely. The scrambling is only happening on the tv sets with Optimum boxes. The third tv with an Apple TV box doesn't get any scrambled channels.
I've about had it with Optimum and am ready to go back to Hulu and tell Optimum they can take their tv service an shove it.

My mother has been without phone service for at the very least 8 hours. I have called optimum several times and getting only the automated service. Finally after many tries I get a person but only to tell me I need to be transferred to another. Okay, I get transferred person asks me several questions only to tell me I need to be transferred again. Okay now this person acts as though he does not understand English. OPTIMUM THE ABSOLUTE WORSE!!

Optimum I have had for a long time as it is the only service e provided in my area.they always talk about their speeds and quality .I switched to altice to hopefully get a better picture and speed which I believe to be bs you are a professional company shouldn't have to pay more for your advertised fastest speeds and quality but I did try it and hating it even more as the fiber optic is worse then regular cable which was bad already .I am so frustrated with them because of Even the price other then canceling. Which is soon we ate thinking of going with someone soon as I can't stand this anymore
