So i tried to update my credit card info with the new dates, i have already done this with several other accounts done in a few seconds. But Sony went nuts, can't update and there service is always to some site basically telling you to do it yourself.All links did not work, i aske on twitter at a sony site, ran me around with the same links, when i asked for a code to get on line with a person to fix this, no answer and dead silence. I have had it with this company, will never buy anything from them again.

I bought a new sony 55 inch 4k HDR Android TV 80 J model 2 days back and the technician has not yet come to install the tv , it's so disappointing , even the service is not good , they are not picking up the calls only , Too bad , didn't expect this from such a reputed company !!!!! KINDLY RESOLVE THE PROBLEM ASAP !!!

Purchased a very expensive pair of Sony "refurbished" headphones for my son a few months ago from a trusted, well reviewed vendor. A month or so later my son was complaining about his ear having pressure and a popping noise. Long story short, after visit to ear Dr etc, we realized it was a defect in his headphones, not his hearing. I called Sony (due to the expiration of our return window with Vendor) & they said there wasn't a warranty however as an exception they were willing to replace them with a new unit (even though his unit was "renewed/refurbished" which we had disclosed along w/serial number, all info etc). We were thrilled! Told us we had to send them the defective set before they would ship us the new one. 3 weeks later and multiple calls to Sony to get an update, we were finally told today that Sony's warehouse received them (2 weeks ago) and decided not to replace them because they were a "liquidated pair". Spoke to a manager indicating all of this was known initially by their agent. Yet, they refused to back up what their agent offered nor would they even offer a discount on purchasing a new pair. They said it would take 7-10 days for our defective unit to be sent back to us. So my son, thanks to Sony, has been anticipating a working pair and without headphones for what will be a month! I am reasonable, kind, understanding, so I get the "no warranty" situation. What I've never encountered before is a company not backing up what their representative told a consumer, and additionally all of the trouble we've gone through for nothing. We will NEVER buy Sony again, and we will advise our friends etc against it as well. We have had great experiences with other manufacturers backing up their agents AND their products. But not Sony. What used to be a reputable manufacturer years ago is no longer. Buyer Beware!!

Just bought a Sony x950h tv. Can't get all speakers to work with Sony av str 1080. First tech not helpful except for the basics. Told me another higher level tech would call next day around 10am. I waited till 11am so I called and they told me theyd call at 1pm. Again, i waited till 2pm so I called them and they told me that callbacks are from 24 to 48 hour window. Sony tech support is a joke. I'll probably have to return the tv.

Annanagr service centre waste , in that person Mr.Prabhakaran he's behaviour is worst ,i purchase sony bravia 40inch tv 9 months only completed TV repair , i request service person not speaking good.my TV in warranty only but he say you bring tv to sony service centre this is not corect still now they not pickup my tv still now my home only nearly 10days no one can come and check

Hapless. After 15 minutes of texts, I was asked, 'what color are the headphones.' I gave up, googled the simple question and got answer in 3 seconds. Google is your friend when it comes to fast answers to tech support.

The absolute worst customer service I have ever dealt with besides Toyota. Our 9 month tv quit, just quit.. I have called Sony and the repair man man more times than I care to recount. Everything has been a flat out lie! Our service requests were made and cancelled twice, then when the parts were finally sent, they sent the wrong parts and supposedly promised to fix this by sending the correct parts next day air.....just another lie! It is going on 3 weeks and we are further behind than when we started. Sony is a horribly unorganized bunch of flat out liars who have no intention of ever standing behind their products.

Put me on hold for hours on an accidental purchase. The top match for a search on Minecraft was a VR-ONLY version, even though you have to get pretty deep into the fine print to see that. You'd think the top game they recommend would be the console you're USING RIGHT NOW TO SHOP. Anyway, after buying the wrong one, I also bought the right one. I asked for a refund. They put me on hold for an hour, then in a customer service chat, unceremoniously told me, "I cannot thank you enough for your understanding, today you contacted us regarding a refund request, I am just glad I was able to answers your inquiries today, is there anything else I might be able to help you today, I will be happy to do so." -- THEN IMMEDIATELY CLOSED THE WINDOW and disconnected. They obviously do not care at all.

Just bought a 2000Euros A7III. Tried to use it with Imaging Edge Desktop on my MacBook Pro and it wouldn't work: I can access the pictures with finder but Edge says the camera is not connected. After 2 hours chatting to 2 Sony 'support specialists', here is the answer I got:
'Sony doesn't guarantee operations with Big Sur 11.5.1.'
When I said that I DO expect such an expensive device to fully work, `I was answered.. you could have seen it is not guaranteed on the Sony support site'.
In other terms: it's not working and I should have known it before buying the camera.. or upgrading my MacBook. I was stupid not to check.. or to buy Sony..

Sony Sound Bar - Model HTZ-9F

If I could give this product zero stars, I would. This model is DEFECTIVE. From the day we had it professionally installed, the sound (mainly bass) would cut in and out. We went to speak to Best Buy about it and because we were just outside our 30-day return window, they would do nothing to help us. I have now been dealing with Sony for more than 6 months to no avail. They admitted that this model is defective and a lot of other consumers are experiencing the same problem. It should have a factory warranty right? It does.. but for some reason is not eligible for repair or exchange for another model that is not defective!? What they are willing to do about is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. They straight up told me my only option is to wait for a new software update to fix the problem, but they don't have a timeframe on that. So in the meantime, we have unplugged and put away the UNUSABLE sound bar that cost us more than $960.00. Worst customer service experience I have had to date and we will definitely not be purchasing any Sony products in the future.

Waited 1 hr and 45 minutes. Got a female from overseas, she was already giving me an attitude and rushing me. Then I asked for someone else, she hung up on me. Total complete utter bs. I hope she gets fired. These entitled workers who make people wait hours then just hangs up on them. Complete disgrace for customer service

The worst customer service i ever faced. I have booked a complaint and the complaint didnot get registered even after the technician took all the details. Later the person who has to update the status they are not having proper info about the technician. After all this, they have given the service centre number, and even they got the complaint, they have not sent the technician for 2days and again they are telling they will send next day.
Sony has high reputation to its gadgets, i hope it should be the same way with the service also.

Sony Bravia 32" tv , the slowest tv that I have ever owned ,service helpline was awful just comments like ` have you turned it on /off a real basic tv for the price of a good one ! Will never but Sony products again.

Horrible customer service. Called about my speaker that I purchased about two weeks ago and they won't send out new one instead they want me to send it to a different company called United Radio. I have never even herd of this company before. It's really sad that the speaker is not even 15 days old and already having problems with it. Last time I ever buy anything from Sony again. And this speaker was not cheep I have the Sony Extra Bass X72.

The PS5? Why do you claim it is released when there are none for sale? This is like a joke to everyone now. You're doing irreparable damage to your brand. I know people that just gave up and bought x-voices newest version. Bad business and shows you are unable to satisfy your customer base.

I bought a pair of Sony earbuds from Amazon in August of last year. They have never really worked correctly. 3 weeks ago I called Sony and they made me do everything except to stand on my head. It did not fix the problem. The customer service representative said that he would send me a follow-up email to see whether or not the problem was resolved. Never got that email. I called them again today. The young lady who I spoke to was absolutely rude. But she did send me the email requesting proof of purchase. When I sent it to them as a screenshot from my order they said that that wasn't good enough. So I called Amazon and the young men at Amazon that I was being helped by was really sweet and I told him how much nicer he was than the person at Sony I had just spoken to. He said I'm going to make things even better I'm going to refund you the full amount of the headphones you purchased 9 months ago. I was going to buy a Sony TV in September I will not buy another Sony product for the rest of my life.

Sony repair service does not exist. 5 years ago I had a brand new sony that was no good and it took 6 months of haggling to get it replaced. Now I have one that needs repair and they won't even talk to me. I have a total of 5 sony cameras. As they die they will be discarded with Canons.

Very disappointed with the customer support sony.lt. No answers, rude and I wasn't given the information I was looking for. I was just considering to buy sony wh-1000xm4 and was searching for some info.
The second letter was not replied at all.
From such a company I was expecting professional consultations but was given the rude answer that they can not comment my concerns :/??!

They need to put ps5 in stores so that people don't have to fight the bots to get one. I have wanted one since release and even signed up for a pre-order but because of the way sony released them even that didn't work. So put physical consoles in the stores will stop the bots and give the rest of us a chance.
