Horrible Customer Service!!! Tools Are Junk

Posted by Josh

Purchased the new dewalt D36000 high capacity wet tile saw last year. I've had nothing but problems with this product with the wheels rusting on a WET TILE SAW. Also the plastic trays are warping causing water to leak from them. Tried to resolve this issue with dewalt had to call 4 different times and the issue goes without being resolved, will not be buying anymore dewalt products from now on. I'm a professional tile installer in michigan with my own business and this has set me back $1,300 very disappointed to
say the least!

Purchased the Dewalt DWE7491 table saw less then 2 years ago and the mechanism that raises and lowers the blade broke.

I purchased a Dewalt weed eater March 24 off this year. One month and one week later it stopped working. I made the purchase at Ace hardware. It was over one month since I made the purchase so they referred me to Dewalt. Dewalt then referred me to their service center. The service center now says they will replace the the item once their warehouse has more in stock. They don't know when they will have more in stock. It's going on two months that I have been waiting. Dewalt says there is nothing they can do. Before buying this product think long and hard. I will before I ever buy another Dewalt product!

Customer support is one of the WORST of have experienced. Purchased $ 400 table saw . Listed in the box was suppose to be wrenches to change the blade. These wrenches are "common" among ALL brands. I have sent customer support 7 requests. Each response was more ridiculous and the last one told me to go out and buy my own.

I bought the new atomic impact had to exchange it twice now cause there was something wrong with both of them. Bought the first one when it first came out was defected went to exchange it yesterday something different was wrong with the new. After reading the comment I have lil hope that I will get a reply starting to consider moving to Milwaukee tired of buying new tools and having to exchange them cause of defective wasting my time and money

Posted by Focusben

I was given a socket set and the wrench drive head was stuck making it unusable. I called service, that took several attempts, and was told they would just send me a replacement. This is a 6" ratchet handle that could be mailed in an envelope. After two months and many emails I still get the same response that DeWalt is working on expediting my order. Now I just have it on my weekly todo list to drop them another note.

I also called the corporate office and was told the assistant to the CEO would get back to me. When I realized that was not going to work is when I began seriously trying to contact service.

Never again with DeWalt.

I called tech support to ask a question about my dw734 planer.I ask what I thougt was a simple question about how much slack should be in the chains that powered the rollers and the blades. At least the gentleman was honest and said that he had no idea. So he said if I would hold he would transfer men to another department that could answer my question. And when they answered I ask them the same question, and his reply was how did I get his number. I told him that I did not have his number, that I had been transfered to him. After he got over that he replied that he had no idea. So he sugested that I go to You Tube and get my answer. I think your tech support should be better trained

I bought the Deealy added durability 5/16" shank... It warped on me and now I can't get anything attached into it. Granted I bought it a few years ago, however, I rarely used and kept in my closet for when needed. Dewalt should replace the shank for me....

DCST920 Used this weedeater about 20 times for 15 minutes each and motor burned out . Called dewalt and got a shipping label and sent it back to be repaired and thats where the nightmare begins dewalt service centers are the worst in the tool industry they dont care when or if they fix your tool and dewalt doesnt care either because the person at dewalt works at a call center in God knows where and he or she cant help you only document your case and send you a prepaid label to hell. Dewalt is mostly made in china junk now so save your self time and money and buy from a tool Co. That takes great care of their customers. This was my last dewalt purchase thanks too poor customer service & quality .

Dewalt wants 55 bucks to "warranty" my trimmer/weed whip in my opinion that's not how warranty works and I will be buying all Milwaukee tools from now on
