Sent a drill in for examination after the chuck kept releasing and the bit fell out. I was told that the repair would be done at NO CHARGE because it was dangerous, although the drill was purchased in 2013. The drill was never returned to me, and after a phone call to their corporate office, I was told that the part was replaced, but that now, I would have to pay $81.00!!!! They are scammers!!!! I kept writing letters telling them to put the old parts back in and return it to me. I would have considered instead to buy a brand new drill, but another brand for $81.00. After that call, and after several complaint letters, the drill was finally sent back to me - no letter telling me Sorry, no note to tell me whether or not it was repaired, nothing. They are so unprofessional. Shame on them!!!!! Never again will I ever consider purchasing DeWalt. Just to note, in the past, that was the only brand I ever purchased, and I am an Avid Woodworker that takes good quality tools very seriously. Things have changed, and their products are now GARBAGE!!!! Their customer service stinks, as well. They are rude and nasty.

Been waiting since January to get back my Dewalt drill (been repaired) have been sent to several shops to collect still waiting dispute calls and email
This is not funny I would never buy anything from them again

The actual tool, a cordless strimmer is excellent.
he hand book is awful. There are 47 pages of warnings before instructions on how to assemble it appear.
It was impossible to register for a guarantee as the site could not find my receipt confirmation.

With over 26,000 views and about 300 likes this Dewalt video highlights an error in the manual regarding the stand.
Unfortunately I am in the process of relocating and have to sell the saw.
Due to hand surgery and an eye requiring surgery I never did get to use this Fathers Day gift to myself.
The video comments are well worth reading. I expect that many of these units have been needlessly returned to the retail store due the assembly omissions and error..

I work for acousti engineering company of Florida .I am a foreman and do layout on very large jobs . I just bought some of your high end chalk boxes .after less than a week of use they are junk the gears are rounded off .I will take part of the blame because I fill them all the way up bad idea the Charlotte grips and that is what caused the gears to round off .you might look at making the gears out of a stronger more durable material .they seem to last longer if you only fill them up about half way. For the price it should not matter how much chaulk you put in it should still work

Awful customer services or lack of should i say.. I have the 3 year warranty but it's useless due to them not answering my calls, not getting back to my messages .. I've a table saw 14 months old that's packed up and i still haven't even been given the opportunity to get it repaired.. Never ever again

I have a couple thousand dollars in dewalt tools drills saws glasses cups...ectbut ther customer service and lack of....uuuuhhhhh I'm done!it's all going to a kid somewhere. I'm over it no use in complaining. I'll give the crap away and try other brands. Shame on you guys!!

Received my orbital sander, used it for 10mins and the osilating drive o ring fell out. Called to talk to someone at dewalt and got to very rude and not interested in helping me figure out if it was a part that mattered. I bought dealt because I've had good luck with these tools, but not anymore. And after the way I was treated I'm going to post this as many times and places I can find. Very disappointed!

Its hurting to me butting this post but there is no one care and no one Liston ,
I have being dealing with repetitive for this brand name for years and all the time it
getting every one frustrated from the customer up to the service people . We are only
Allowed to deal with the worst office in service around the world (Panama ) ,
I made a few order with them a couple years ago and It was a hell to make these people work
so I decide to stop doing any service for this company and there brands and it was up to last year when I was visited by the regional sale manager and it was a nice story and he convince me to get back on board because the service going to be much better but the only correct thing in his word is the word but not the act ,,I have an order for parts from them
almost six month and every email a different runaround ,, this time no look back Mr. DEWALT
I surely can do much better without you ,

Hello I recently bought a 16 inch chainsaw, it came with a 9 Amp hour battery , I haven't had the time to use it yet , but I'm excited about not having to carry gas in a jug LOL.The 9 Amp battery got me thinking , wouldn't it be cool if you could use the same battery on a brightly painted Dewalt yellow mountain bike, I'm to old for that stuff ,but the thought of my grandson speeding off on a Dewalt bike with his dad yelling I have to use my saw you little turd , makes me laugh

I messaged Dewalt about a friend of mine that has used their products for years. His home and all his tools were destroyed in the fire. I ask if they had any refurbished tools they could donate or sale at a good price, because he has to replace everything. They told me to speak to a lawyer and sent me to a website. They did not act professional and very cold. All they had to do is say no or we can not help. I will never use Dewalt again and will advise others to do the same because of this experiance.

Same story here as "Posted by Mad'. I found a Dewalt clone page with 80% off a bunch of tools. Too good to pass up! I was greedy and bought two 735 Planers. The site claims it has already shipped, less than 12 hours after ordering, and gave me a very weird looking tracking number. My clue to fraud was the information did not include the shipper's name, so the tracking number is pretty useless to me.
I had no way of knowing the sale was in Australia. It was not an Aussie web address (neither was it a Dewalt address, but then Amazon sellers do not have Dewalt addresses either.), the price just said dollars, not American dollars, and not Aussie dollars. It looked legitimate.
I have been told from a conversation with a corporate employee that Dewalt is working to take these bogus sites down. Thank you for that! But I think Dewalt needs to do more, and hopefully they will. I hope they are making an effort to find who is putting these bogus sites up. I hope they can sue the culprits. I thnk they should do all of that simply to help customers who support their company products and simply were duped by fraudulent advertising and marketing.

I want to report a site that looks like yours same pictures of all products advertizing 70 percent off to look at it you would swear its dewalt i thought these would be refurbished tools and that was fine. so i made a purchase and come to find out its a scam site i talked to people thats suppose to be looking out for you saying nothing they can do let me go one step futher when i type dewalt tools there on the same page your page is on they go as far as giving a tracking number for DHL of course not a good tracking number bottom line they are going to damage the good name of dewalt and your so call workers treat as o well you got riped off i said you do have lawyers dont you to persue this these people that represent you are totally useless i had a lady for the first time and then i got a guy the 3rd time

So tired of filling out request so this is the last one sent question ,oct 31 received one response sent additional info as requested, but nothing since nov5 simple request but nothing your customer service sucks and for the amount of money for your product you pound thing it would be better bought 4 piece combo 20v no belt clips I quite but as stated above nothing

The dewalt Oscillating tool becomes so hot in just a few minutes of time, you can feel it thru your leather work cloves. So hot you can't hardly hold it.

Hi there,
I purchased in Home Depot a set of tool box (DS300-DS400-DS150)
4-6 month ago and the silver metal locks to keep it close broked so easy. Water is getting inside and damge rusty rhe rest of the tools. I been doing home remodeling for last 17 years and the only brand l use is Dewalt. I do have few drill, nail guns, table, miters, jigsaws, all my 3 trailers are full of Dewalt tools and l realized they come with the same tool box set but with stronger locks (2.0 l think).
There is anything l can do to fix the lock or exchange for the new ones? Home Depot don't make the returd, they are in real good shape almost new, but the lock (l didn't work during Pandemia)
Please let me know l'm appreciated.

Purchased the the Dewalt DCCS670 chain saw from Home Depot. Worked great the first time I used it then sparks came flying out of the electronics controller and went dead. Took numerous phone calls, chats, and emails to Dewalt to finally get another one sent. Same thing happened to the second one after using it twice. Now starting the same cycle of calling, email, chat to get a refund. It's been 5 days now but I will relentlessly pursue until I get my money back. A good company has a bad product and won't issue a recall and fix their bad design.

Like,all you're tools of dewalt, the only thing is missing is measuring tape that is for righthanded person like myself.. all tape's are for left handed person.. I been working in residential in construction industry for 30 years,the only company the makes a righthanded tape is (R2L A 25'O" RIGHT-LEFT READTAPE) CAN DEWALT MAKE ME 5 MEASURING TAPE..FOR A HAND..✍

I purchased a number of DeWalt 20v tools in March. Less than six months later while using my oscillating tool the handle became hot and the safety button won't work. I contacted DeWalt for guidance to resolve this issue. I sent my tool in and so far it has been 2 months and I have been without this tool and I have not had any updates as to when I may expect it or a new one returned.

I purchase tools to use them and it would be nice to be able to.

Hi,my name is Daniel medina, I buy a pex expander las July to be more exact in 7/24/2019, It was defective, I send it back to be fix on the 7/8/2020,I call the service center in Sacramento CA, to find out about my tool on the first week of August they tell me that it will be fix in the next few days, I call today to find out why they don't call me or notify me about the status of my tool.they tell me the same words from the previous call, I request to speak to a manager, I was explaining to him that some one is lying to me, he hung the phone, I call back, and speak to a customer representative to hear again the same exact words, the manager name is John Hubs, I will like to know if there is a way to get back my tool fix soon, or my money or a new tool, this tool is the support of my family and been losing money, many thanks in advance

Hi talk to you costumer service 3 time today about getting my 6.0 battery replacement and 1st agent says it ship to contact ups the so i called ups and they say it hasnt ship so i contact costumer service agian and they tell me it hasnt ship.. disappointed

Had one of the employees in their company vehicle curse at workers in Tim Hortons for taking too long. He took his order continued to yell and swear at the women as he drove off. He was told he didn't pay yet and he just didn't care. Told them too bad. Licence plate PD 7663 makes company look bad

To me Dewalt is just a name that is fading due to a bad customer service and bad products that they do not support fully. when I was explaining and complaining to their customer service, he hung on me and he couldn't give me an answer to my question or he didn't care enough to know what i am saying just for the purpose of making it better or satisfy me with an answer. they get too many calls and that's why their lines are too busy and can not answer, unless you leave your number for return. DEWALT suck and I don't buy anything from you anymore. "ONE LESS CUSTOMER". No more profit for you, from me.
