Do not buy Petco Vital Care. They hard sell it and do not disclose its a one year recurring membership. Even if you want to cancel you still have to pay for the remaining year.

Care of my 5 pound dog in for a trimming and got it back and it look like a lion with long hair on its head and skin on the rest of the body. Paid $70 to get it to look like this. Can't even care of her at walking now because I'm embarrassed of the way she looks.

Petco online did the old bait and switch. Had prescription cat food listed 48.44 per case with repeat deoivery. I signed up. Now I see it's back to regular price of 62.00 per case after I signed up! Also, their website does not allow you to change method of payment or to close your account. You must call customer service, which is lousy, by the way. Also, they duse Doordash for deliveries!!!! Chewy gives AWESOME customer service. I mean AWESOME!. Fedex delivered my cat food to the wrong address..transposed the numbers. I called Chewey and they immediately send me another case of food at no charge and said if my order shows up, keep it! Amazing!

I bought a flex fish tank the remote didn't work which is the only way to change the lighting...talked to customer service someone was to contact me back after I wasted a half hour on chat. No one contacted be back so I'm returning the fish tank ...and i will never return again.
ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK.

My wife and I went to your store today in Weymouth ma, we are regular customers. And we bought a plethora of toys and treats. At checkout the employee said if you want a PLASTIC bag you'll need to pay for it. That is absolutely ridiculous. With times being like this if your company have to charge for a bag that gets thrown away, you shouldn't be in business. Now we had to walk with the dog and both handful of treats for our pup! Un expectable!!

My wife went into Petco-Little Rock today & bought 2 boxes litter liners total around $50.00. She asked for a bag to put them in & was told 10 cents. Is that how cheap they have become?? Do they plan on making their profit quota a dime at a time ? Pretty cheap.

Petco is the worst! A year ago, I ordered some expensive prescription meds for my dog. Petco had a promotion that was considerably less expensive if you signed up for autoship. I ordered a year's supply and when they arrived, the packaging was terrible and the package was smashed. The tablets were in blister packs and some of the tablets were smashed to pieces. At this point I was not impressed. So, I went to their website and cancelled my autoship. Fast forward one year, and I receive an email that my credit card had been charged over $150 for a new shipment of the same meds. I immediately called their customer service number and talked to a female that I could barely understand. Her English was terrible. I explained the situation politely and asked if the order had shipped. She said the order hadn't shipped and I asked that the order be cancelled before it shipped and have the funds credited back to my credit card. She said that she would take care of it and that the order was now cancelled and the refund would show up on my credit card account within 3 business days. So today, four days later, I get a notification that the order had now shipped. I immediately called the "so called" service number and spoke to a rep. I again explained the situation and I was informed that the meds were not returnable. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was put on hold for ever. I never did get to talk to a supervisor, but the rep got back with me and said I would get a refund in the next 3 business days and to just refuse the order. Unfortunately, it will be delivered via USPS and I have a mail box, so I rarely see the delivery person. This is such a screwed up mess. I don't have much confidence that I will ever see the refund.
I highly recommend never doing any business what-so-ever with Petco. They are pathetic!

I will not be using their repeat delivery. It's starts out 4 weeks yet doesn't get to you until over 5 weeks so you run out. Then I set to every 3 weeks. They took the ? out of my account with no email confirmation not way for me to even track. I had to call today to find out where my babies food is at . They reply oh it will be their on the 15th n I mean damn I live down the street from Petco and they charge 6.00 to get the dog food to you on their own sweet time. I will be getting my next dog food @walmart . I've had to many issues with Petco especially in the store no customer service. I'm very disappointed ?☹️

Petco has the worst grooming services. I went there a little while ago, and they didn't do a great job, but I thought I'd give them another shot.
I go to sign my dog in and they told me "We don't do dogs on medication." Hopefully, they have a child that is told that when they go to get a haircut, and see what it feels like! I will tell every person I know what they said, so they too will never go there.

I went back to Petco to receive my refund for the Disastrous butchered hair cut Harper gave my dog. I deleted my grievances but I am going to repost it. I feel scammed by the Petco employees. I have my receipts that shows the charge for 1/24 and again on 1/25 which was supposed to be a credit.
Please don't patronize Petco Store 02740. They are unprofessional and like interpersonal skills and are not genuine will they tell you they going to help.
I spoke to the General Manager Laura who made me feel as though Petco would do right by compensating me.
A simple refund should take less than 24 hours to reappear on my bank statement.
I also have Pet insurance via Petco. I am happy it's a 3rd part company that actually pays when you file a claim. Perhaps the 3rd party should be responsible for refunds. Truly Disappointing in Petco Grooming services, cashier who was supposed to refund, and the Manager. 10 Thumbs down

I will never order anything from Petco or return to any Petco in my life after spending hundreds of dollars around Christmas I ordered a cat tree online that happened to drive by Petco bought one in store try canceling the order online they're unable to do it had to personally wait for this huge cat tree to get shipped to drive it 30 minutes away back to the store cuz they can't cancel anything even if it's 5 minutes after and they refuse to give me back my money because I use PayPal it would only give me store credit store credit of $300. To me that's throat I don't have a bank account I use my PayPal for my direct deposit from work they pretty much just stole my paycheck and there's nothing I can do because I used a PayPal debit card. Also the customer service was horrible they embarrassed me looked at me like I was a crazy person telling him this was unacceptable brought three tellers to the front desk just sat there and stayed at me like no you use PayPal you're getting store credit sorry. Answered me like I was white trash most embarrassing horrible return they didn't even get to return in my life

I have never been treated so poorly by a store employee in my life. Christy called me names insinuating that I'm not a good parent and did this Infront of my son. Calling me a hillbilly. Bc I had a unlit cigarette! Who are you hiring to represent your store is a disgrace she then kicked my son and I out saying I stink!!!! And then when I started to record her abuse on customers she then started to yell to other employees that I'm recording her and trying to get them to put me down as well!!! And she called security on me!!!! I waited for them outside to let them know what kind of person she was. This is ridiculous! I can't believe it.

We picked up our dog after he was groomed when we dropped him off the store smelled so bad it made us sick when we picked them up the entire star was engulfed in rotten flesh stench. The girl behind the counter said all the crickets and mammals had died, and that was the smell, then the genius said I guess I should've taken out the garbage or garbage cans laid right in the middle of the store. We got to our car. My daughter threw up instantly we are both sick all night I called customer service they
said the store would get back to me they never did and charging six dollars for shampoo is a joke. My dog weighs 9 pounds and once again the genius behind the counter told me every time they use their scissors to make a cot. There's losers get doll. Well you have to sharpen dumb. Anyway, genius Petco has went downhill. Our last four dogs have been cut there although the grooming department, the girls and guys are very nice and very good. The rest of the store is terrible. The Petco rewards is the biggest joke of all.

Worst place ever, definitely I don't recommend that place for nothing, I went to Petco in 17 st. & Broadway and when I paid the cashier didn't give me the return in my hands , she threw it in the counter, I was the one who (anyway) said thank you and she didn't respond, my dog needed a medication and I put it recurring payment from my account to make sure my dog has his medicine but they charge my account ( they are very fast for that ) but they don't send the medication so I have to call in order for them to send it and that happens every month. They are the worst company that unfortunately I had to deal with in my whole life.

Petco website does not work every single time I try to log in, then chat with customer service, send the password reset link, try to do that new password and can't go beyond it because the web page for this does not save my new PW and nothing happens. The customer service person says they'll escalate to tech people and will let us know. No one contacts us and nothing is resolved. It's been happening all of 2022 and I've gone through this process at least 10 times already.

Petco employee's would not return two new Litter Genie bag containers. Never opened, all wrapped in a plastic, two set. My Litter Genie broke, lake Oswego Petco were out. I went to another store and purchased Litter Champ. I do not need these two containers of Litter Genie bags. Employees found my purchase on line, but would not return. It was past the 30 days. During Covid I started purchasing more than I needed due to Petco being out of a lot of their merchandise.
Even though I am a long time customer, they were not friendly. I would have easily accepted a credit.

I won't spend another dollar in Petco I will go to PetSmart or another pet store I've spent way too much money in there to get my point and I'm done you'll never get another Penny of our money we spend a lot in there every month we haven't been able to get our points since we made from Waco and that's been 2 years ago I thought maybe me talking to customer service would help but it didn't y'all are nothing but a bunch of scam artists and your stuff is way too high you need to get some help in there that knows what they're doing

Capital One person and she said that we had all these points to call back tomorrow so I did and then there wasn't there and then I've called several times since then and they can't add two counts together and they said we have no rewards and I've spent probably five or six hundred dollars in the last month so I will never use Petco again

Petco's groomer refused me service today because they deemed by dog was too old to cut his nails. I find it suspect that they did this because last time I was there one of the "groomers" was very rough with my dog and even called him spastic. I complained and this is how a customer is treated. Even while I was there another "groomer" manhandled a cute little chocolate brown poodle pulling her leg away from here body several times due to her hurting the dog while being shaved. I am going to let everyone I know along with multiple websites how your "groomers" treat the customers that come in with their animals. Those people should not be around animals. The location is in Ranson, WV. I will never go there again even if it means I go to another store to buy his food.

Bought a shelter cat from Petco store. The cat had an issue so I called the store. The store told me to call the shelter vet which I did but they never returned my calls. So I took the cat to my vet but Petco will not cover the cost. Never buy from Petco or you will be left out in the cold.

Fade advertising to get you in the store. They advertise walk in servicees for their grooming department on their website (nail trimming) yet every time I've tried to use the walk in nail trimming service I get the same lame response that they are short staffed. If you are not offering the service then take it off your webite - there is a reason Persmart beats Petconacross the boardZ Petco employees are lazy

Ordered dog food online and after a couple days I receive an email stating that due to staffing issues, the shipping will be delayed.

I called customer service (and waited 20 minutes for someone to pick up, all the while playing a message how important my call is to Petco). Once the rep answered and checked the order, I was told the product was unavailable in the local warehouse, and the order will auto-cancel if they can't find it in stock.

Really? If you know its on backorder, update your website like other vendors.

It is amazing that they believe this is appropriate behavior.

The customer service sucks. They always have 30 minute wait and when you request a call back they call back saying they missed you even when you answer the phone. Then I have to call again and wait another 30 minutes for a call. Once I do get in contact with them and ask for them to update my email. Said they did and now I can't log in. This is unacceptable. Get people who know what they are doing. These people are making you guys look bad!
