Went to the Bass Pro shop in Atlantic City to inquire about a gun purchase. It was plenty of workers doing nothing and 1 workers talking to a customer. No one helped me (I'm African American). The workers looked at me and never offered to assist me while i waited in line. Another African American couple get in line behind me and still no service. We waited for a few minutes then looked at each other while the workers stood around doing absolutely nothing but acted like we were invisible to them. We left and put anything we thought about purchasing down. Never felt so disrespected in any establishment.

Highly disappointed in corporate response. Bought a boat from Garland store over two months ago. Put down a $500 (refundable) deposit check. Have yet to get my $500 back and it was not applied to balance if boat cost. Called two weeks ago. Manager said watch for it and call back in two weeks. Been calling three days in a row and they are always checking on the process. Never return calls as they say they will. No spare tire with boat. No $500 gift card to Bass Pro as Promised. Disappointed.

Every time we go to buy something from Bass Pro whether it's at their store or online it's out of stock even though they keep advertising that they have it and we keep seeing it all over the Internet they don't have anything. They gave me a $650 gift card and I can't even spend it because they don't have anything that I can buy Bass Pro needs to get stuff in their stores and back in their catalog.

I find it incredibly frustrating. When I live in a huge hunting and fishing community In Orange County, NY. I hunt and fish.. And there's not 1 Bass Pro or Cabelas for miles.... My store locator is referring me to the Connecticut store location; another state.. Can you please add another location. That's at least closer to the Orange County, NY area... you have Harriman NY, Middletown, NY, Warwick NY,... FRUSTRATING.. love the store but I can't find one.. recently visited the Atlantic City Bass Pro Shop... 150 miles away...

What are you thinking closing the fudge shops?!! So many upset customers! Do you even know what Cabela's customers like? Do you even care? If you wanted to bankrupt all the stores why did you even buy them. Do you sit in your little office with your head stuck ?? So unaware of what even goes on in the actual store? You have made so many changes and none have been for the better. Apparently you won't be happy until everything that was good about Cabela's is gone. Maybe then you can finally say Bass Pro is better?? No one. An figure out your reasoning.

We purchased a weapon from bass pro in Rogers Arkansas. The 20 something-year-old that was running the counter felt it was funny to try and trick us during the questionnaire process in front of a new employee he was training. I don't take much serious in my life but when it comes to federal forms and firearms approval I don't like to dick around. He proceeded to offer me unsolicited advice about how to run an AK 47 platform. Even offered advice on how to bump fire the weapon. He was very uninformed and appeared extremely overzealous. I do not feel comfortable purchasing a weapon from them again, if they are going to allow people of this age and experience to offer opinions to customers they did not solicit.. Not only was it distasteful, as a state certified firearms instructor, I recognized it to be dangerous to recommend bump firing a weapon to anyone in the position he was in. He declined that he was offering advice on how to "bumpfire a weapon" because that would be illegal or so his 21 yr old mind thought. Even though what he explained was exactly that.

Im rarely send complaints to companies or mgmt, but had such a bad experience this afternoon in your store i'm compelled to send this as a formal complaint against one of your staff.

I was treated so poorly by your firearms counter manager "ED"today, I will never consider shopping in your location again.

He was miss informed, un-educated on process and the law, and when i tried to clarify and educate him he was rude and condescending. He was mistaken, and when i tried to point out his error he condescendingly just kept saying " have a nice day sir, have a nice day" louder and louder. I was treated like a child, instead of a valued customer. There is no excuse for being rude and raising your voice to a customer. I felt like i was being reprimanded in front of other staff and customers. Maybe he doesn't understand the customer service end of sales, And would be better suited not talking to the public. I left there mad and embarrassed And worst of all ultimately denied my legal right to purchase a firearm, even with all requirements met, because he didnt understand what i was saying and didnt care enough to listen. I have shopped quite a bit in your store and have been a Cabelas club member for close to 15 years, no more I'll never shop there again. All this said i have zero expectations that anything will be done about this, and thats fine but i thought you as the stores manager should know how rude and unprofessional one of your managers acted.

Bottom line if your in south Jersey looking to legally exercise your right to purchase and own a firearm DO NOT BUY IT AT BASS PRO SHOP.

Have been trying now for three days to see if a boat is available to buy in your columbia,mo. store. I've called 7 times, left 2 voice messages and 1 computer inquiry. All have been a waste of MY time. I guess I'll go order a boat from Lowe, they seem to want my business.

At Bass Pro yesterday with 15 yr old grandson, Birmingham.
Y'all are continuing to go down hill. Will be last time there except something can not find no where else. Name brands of fishing lures not there, camo not there, clothing not there. Your personnel agrees. Spent $195.00 and left, You did not deserve for me to buy one rod and reel, which you had along with maybe $30 of other items, disgusted and left. YOU have officially sent me to
Other retailers in area where I can. Marks Outdoors, Simmons Sporting goods, Woods and Water along with the internet. I am sorry you took down Cabelas with you.

Disappointed bought a crossbow. When we got it home found that I could not pull back and load. Went to store the next day was told they do not give refunds on crossbows and guns. Guns I was aware of but saw nothing on the web or in the store telling people this. They would not refund me

Worst online shopping experience ever. First of all I was tols shipping was free, it was not. Tried to cancel the order, that was a joke. Three calls to customer service and they were all very polite and friendly but I got a different answer every time. Had to refuse the delivery to cancel the order and then it was over a month before i got a refund and when i did, they claimed in the refund the shipping was free so it cost me $24.00 to cancel the order. I will NEVER order from brass pro again and I am too annoyed to even call their customer service to dispute it. i will eat the loss and call it a lesson learned.

Poor customer relations. In the Rapid City Store, shoe department, A manager was so rude. Her name was Ronnie. A staff member was helping with shoes. The manager shushed us away from the gal who was helping us. The she started berating the gal. Treating her unspeakably rude. Threatening her stating she was an idiot. The manager then told her she would not get any hours if she didn't do things her way. This young lady has helped us for years in the shoe department. We look for her every time we are there. She is lovely and always helpful. To be treated so rudely and in front of customers! The young lady brushed it off well, with red eyes holding back tears she finished helping us. This woman Ronnie is rude and disrespectful to all her staff. I am a regular customer and since she came the department has changes from happy place to quiet and downtrodden. The bad thing is I'm not sure this will do any good. I hope it will help.

went to Mesa location to purchase gun and scope. Got there 9:20 am, 20 minutes after opening. There were 4 guys behind the counter.i Stood there for 15 minutes and not acknowledged Finally i asked if i need to pull a number to get served. Was told "there are only 2 customers and will be with you in a second" i had to go elsewhere and spend by money. will never go back to Bass Pro shop!!!

I called about a rifle and a pistol. Every time I get directed to the gun vault, an employee takes forever to answer the phone and when I have a question, they seem to be ugly about how they respond. Like, I know about guns, I don't appreciate being talked to in such a manner to where someone makes it seem like I don't know what I'm talking about. Y'all need to get someone else more respectable and patient to work in that department.

Bass Pro in Bristol, TB combined with Cabela's in Bristol, VA because Cabela's was outperforming them. Cooperate decided to combine and take all of their employees and now Bass Pro will be getting all the credit. Bass Pro cooperate is money hungry and a bunch of a$$holes. They did not tell Cabela employees the store would be closing until that same night. I'll be finding another Cabela's in VA to shop at.

Hello - I recently went to the Bass Pro Shop in Bolingbrook Il to have them put in an Oneida Phoenix bow so I can try it before I buy it. The sales rep said you have to buy it first and then they can order it in. Wow, that is great. I could order it myself without their help. Bass Pro purchased Oneida archery so what is the problem with them having this bow in stock? The only Oneida dealer in Illinois is 270 miles away. I got the same rude service from Cabela's in Hoffman Estates. It seems to me that they should be interested in selling a $1200 bow. Can you please help me get this bow stocked so I can try it out. I am a long time recurve bow shooter and I feel this bow would be perfect for me and I am very serious about purchasing it if it feels good. As a past board member and officer of Chicago Bow Hunters which is right down the street from Bass Pro, I send a lot of business to this facility. I also buy a lot of gear from Bass Pro and Cabela's so I would think I could get better service than this. Can you help me get this bow in stock? Thank you for your help.

I went to bass pro shop in Harlingen Texas 78550 went to sign in to have my children's photo taken with Santa at 2:30 and was told I was unable to sign in my children. I spoke to a manager Desi Deleon who was rude and was told I had since November to bring in my children and it was too late to sign them in. The website shows Santa would be in the shop until five and no where on the website was a registration cut off. Beyond disappointed in how things are being done this year! More specifics need to be given on the website and better customer

Bought a pair of boots on black Friday only to have the whole transaction deleted yesterday. Called yesterday and was told it was an inventory issue. Only option was to refund my money. Nice being prepared for customer orders!

Bought a new nitro z20 on August 20 2019. On Oct 7 2019 I took it in for problems. It has about 10 hrs on it. The prop shaft was bent. At that time we looked it over and found nothing wrong with the lower unit. Knowing mercury I new they would not warranty this. The lady at the desk said she would order parts for this at that time. A week went by and I called them several times with no response. Went down there and was promised they would call me back. No calls til on Oct 15 I called and she said she was getting me an estimate and she call right back. So I waited 5 hrs and was on my way down there again she called. She told me she was going to order the parts and it would be a week til they come in. I called today Oct 21 and no reply. I going down there in the morning and I am not happy. I told them 2 weeks ago I would pay for it out of my own pocket that I just want my boat. I am not happy with the service there and it really pisses me off to not know what is going on.

I tried to return two brand new Cabela's Roughneck jeans and one Cabela's Outfitter series belt.(still in unopened poly bag) from Cabela's to the Bas Pro Shop in Dania Beach, FL.
They are all size 34 inches. I gifted these to my father-in-law who has passed away. Now, my mother-in-law also passed away. My wife and I were cleaning out their home. We found the 3 items I gas to my father-in-law, still unopened with all tags still attached.
I tried to return for a gift card to buy something at Bass Pro because there are no Cabela's in Florida. They told me these have to be returned to Cabela's as they do not have these items in their "system". What to do? I cannot drive to Georgia. Can you help me. The total purchase price was about $55.

I took an unused kayak seat back to the store after cleaning out the garage. It sat for a year with the tags on without use. I had the receipt and the local store refused to accept the return because they claimed they couldn't sell it again. What part of 100% customer satisfaction applies here? I'll spell it out: it's an incredibly competitive retail market with online options and other stores. REI takes it back no questions asked. I am back to them 100%. If Bass Pro wants to lose a life long customer over a few bucks, then so be it What a disappointment.
