Kitchen aid side by side fridge is a piece of junk and customer service is the worst I have ever dealt with. Our ice maker has been broken on and off for a year ( 3 weeks after purchasing it) I sit on hold and spend countless hours on the phone with kitchen aid and they just give the run around. I will never ever buy kitchen aid products again. They do not stand behind their crappy appliances at all.

I ordered a roller wheel for my kitchenAid oven bottom drawer. They sent me the wrong piece, worth $6 but charged me $40 for the roller, that they never sent. I asked for a refund, an exchange for the correct item, or a discount on the purchase of a subsequent product. They refused all of my requests, stating that I was to contact them within 30 days. It's been almost two years. Point is, they made a mistake, sent time the wrong piece, overcharged me and they are protecting their incompetence with a 30-day max period for contestation. Also, I purchased a mini food processor KFC3516 and the plastic is so cheap the bowl is already chipped. Costs $41 + $6.99 shipping + taxes to replace the bowl, but I can purchase a new one for $55 plus tax. How absolutely ridiculous. Never purchasing any kitchenAid products again. The quality has declined substantially over the past few years.

I just have to say that KitchenAid bottom freezers are appallingly designed. There is no easy way to remove the sliding drawers for cleaning or defrosting. Two different types of screwdrivers (one which only a tradesman would have handy) are required. Consequently, it is incredibly difficult to clean behind the drawers and the back of the freezer. In addition, the 'storage bin' on the inside of the fridge door has never stayed closed, so it flops open every time the door is opened. I will never purchase another KitchenAid product. The KitchenAid dishwasher is quiet, but the top tray is flimsily made and regularly comes off the tracks. Super annoying. I do NOT recommend KitchenAid appliances!

I waited 19 minutes technical support. The woman that answered didn't know the answer to my question. She transfered me to "parts". The recording kept telling me to press 3 for Kitchen Aid. After pressing 3 four times I was disconnected.

Purchased kitchen aid mixer a year and a half ago. Used it maybe 10 times. Stopped working. Was told it is not under warranty anymore. It will cost me over $60 to have it shipped and another $50-$200 to be repaired. When I asked to speak to someone else the women one the phone was very rude. I was hung up on. Never purchase a product from this company again.

so far a joke 4500 dollar fridge isnt working. several calls, assigned repair company issued date only to have them go to wrong address. follow up for new date, several hrs, several calls.. nothing. buyer beware unless you like clowns

The payment has been collected a year ago, but the item still hasn't been delivered.

Dear Kitchenaid:

I have a 5/drawer Kitchenaid refrigerator that has given me nothing but problems. I have had 5 services calls in the last year with the last being in December/2021 where they replaced all sealed parts. You would think at this point everything would work. But, my freezer and icemaker are still not working, the freezer is leaking and I have lost hundreds of dollars of food (again) because of this. At this point I believe this refrigerator is a "lemon". I am more than disappointed with Kitchenaid and this refrigerator. When you buy quality you expect quality but this is not the case. And, to make matter matters even worse the Kitchenaid service company wants to charge me $150 to diagnose the problem that has been the same problem all along! This is unacceptable and need this to be rectified immediately is not sooner.

Worst customer service ever! Refrigerator freezer not working, does not freeze and not making any ice. 3/12/22 scheduled service, 3/23 appointment no one showed up. Took off work to be available and was not notified that there were no service providers available. Contacted 4/8, no response, contacted 4/14/22 customer service will try to locate a provider within 7 business days. We still don't have an operational fridge/freezer.

I am very disappointed with the company
I purchased a double oven
Since I bought it had a problem that the oven would turn on by itself and will not let me turn it off
The tried to repair it so far 5 times
Every time they telling me that their insurance just let them repair and that they will not exchange it for me
I bought it 9 months ago and since 6 months ago I am without a working oven
Don't ever buy their products and their insurance

I will NEVER buy KA appliances again. I bought a gas range. The knobs turns on. If just lightly brush them. My home has filled with gas several times. The service man Sid that I liked my other range better. It has NOTHING to do with my other range. My house has filled with gas, idiots. They adjusted the flames because it cooked on high or high. Because the knobs locked of course it was me. I have documented everything and give to family members. If the worst happens then it is KA at fault. Never buy this brand. Kitchen Aid I bought a fridge, microwave, dishwasher, double oven all but the dishwasher have had to be replaced or repaired within the 3rd year. Microwave replaced twice repaired last time. Fridge went down 2cd year 500.00 repairs, Double oven just repaired for 800.00 all junk kitchen aid a whirlpool product nothing but expensive junk!!!

Terrible service. The customer support agents are not qualified. Not solving the issue. They are not able to send me the replacement unit for for the broken one over a month now. The product is garbage. I bought the mixer from the Kitchenaid official site. It worked for 2 minutes mixing eggs and died. Stuff made in China is much more reliable than this.

Do not purchase through kitchen aid EVER. My father is terminally ill with cancer, his microwave broke. Paid extra on top of order for installation. They REFUSED him upon delivery leaving and 80 lb microwave in the middle of the floor. After three days of trying to reach by phone they send the same guy who says the exact same thing. Go through a separate retailer avoid them and their drivers at all costs! Absolutely DISGUSTING service.

Dont buy with kitchenaid, i bought a metal meat grinder, because of the site erroring out, it ordered 3 of them. When i returned 2 back for a refund they wont refund it, its been a month since i returned it and still waiting for a refund. Every time i contact Kitchen Aid Customer service they give me a run around that its processed and should see it in couple days. That never happens. They always try to find an excuse. Filing a charge-back with my bank, this is ridiculous

Purchased a pricy microwave/convection that delivery person refused to unpacl and set on counter despite notation that it should be done on the waybill. An hour with Customer Service yielded no satisfactory accommodation, only attempts at excuses that made no sense. Will not purchase from Kitchenaid again.

Bought a $4,000 Kitchen Aid induction range from Home Depot. The cooktop broke after 12 weeks. Service company showed up and said the part would be 2-4 weeks. It's now been 6-1/2 weeks. Home Depot did absolutely nothing and all Kitchen Aid did was extend the warranty 1 year. Pathetic customer service!

We ordered a down draft oven from Kitchen Aid August 14th, 2021. We were told the delivery was 7 weeks out. It is now December 4th and still no oven. We called the business we ordered the oven from and were told delivery date is now January 30th, 2022. This is the second time the date has been pushed back 2 months. Kitchen Aid failed to honor their initial delivery date. I will never order from this business again. And will steer anyone I know away from Kitchen Aid. I have no faith in this business and no faith that we will see the oven come January 30th. Completely unacceptable.

Three year old fridge called "nom-repairable" after 4 service visits in a month and $700+ out of my pocket. Fridge is freezing all produce. Tired replacing the board this last time but problem remains. Service was picking the cost of the board which was generous. They spoke twice with Kitchenaid supervisors trying
to get me some financial assistance with parts, but Kitchenaid wouldn't budge. I called as well - same result. I have 4
Kitchenaid appliances. Had I known the fridge would last 3 years and the company would not support their customers, I would have never went with this brand.

Interesting that Anonymois posted a similar 3 year old fridge issue on Nov 5. Maybe it's time for Kitchenaid to call a lemon a lemon. AND help out their customers.

I bought a kitchen aid dishwasher 4 months ago. It's stopped working right after one month. I called customer support and warranty, they said that they don't have any availability until next month. We waited patiently and the services guy showed up finally after one month.
He took a peak at the dishwasher for 3 minutes and claimed that the motor has stopped working. He said that he does not have an extra motor and he needs to order one. He claimed that the motor would arrive by next week and he could come and install it.
It has been 2 months now and the guy never shows up! We are calling and calling the customer support and there is no response . After a long wait time the call
Disconnects.
I would never ever recommend kitchen products to anyone ever! They have the worst customer service and they have no empathy for their customers!
I am disappointed because I over paid for this kitchen aid dishwasher.
The worst company ever people! Never ever waste your money on such cheap and low quality and off course useless products!

I have a complaint that I want to voice. Only human contact I got wanted to be paid. On line comment site kept telling me I had an unknown model number in spite of getting directly off door. The unit is only a year old.
