Tried calling since the website hasn't been working for at least 2 days and payment is due today. Called and got an automated message stating my call can not be taken due to circumstances out of their control. ...what?!

No ability to give any information for tax credit related to educational loan. Extremely rude agent, who chuckled when I told her that I needed the information to file my taxes correctly and that extension expires tomorrow.

This is alarming. After years of paying my ACS bill online, I'm finding my contact phone number taking me to an advertisement. Looking up a current number brought me here.

Not able to get a live person or menu payment options, but at least it's the right company.

"Try again later" doesn't cut it when they will probably hit me with late fees. This is not good.

I am traveling and I am unable to pay my bill via website as it has been down for days. Try to call the 800 number and they just disconnect me saying they cannot take my call due to circumstances beyond their control. Bad.

I am having so much problems with this website. It's been down for several days and cannot post my payment at all!
After 20 mins of waiting on the phone customer service tells me that they don't know when the website will be up and they don't know if this will be taken as a late payment! This is ridiculous! I am considering moving my loan to a different company.
This is very disapointing!

I made a BIG mistake when I transferred my sudent loans to this ACS. The issues are to numerous to list but if I were to rate them on a scale of 10 with 10 being the highest and 1 being the lowest, I would give them -1

I do not know if writting on this will make any difference, as I see a lot of bad remarks for the services provided by ACS. After using a lot of options then back to square one then again trying, recalling, I am on hold for almost 15+ minutes.

This company is a joke. They are quick to call you if you miss a payment but there's no way to get in touch with them! The numbers listed on their website are useless. Their website is useless. All I want to do is make a payment. How is it that they stay in business if no one can every call or reach them!

I don't have a student loan with ACS!

But I get home calls every day, unidentifiable caller ID, a brief message that the call will be monitored, and then music-on-hold, never get to talk to anyone aft 5, 10, 15 minutes...



Website is totally useless...gets you nowhere, if you call you are prompted for an account number, which I do not have one! Hit 0 several times and I get to talk to a live person.



Twice I asked to have a number removed and I still get these annoying call. Call blocking doesn't work, file complaints with DONOTCALL, and the Georgia Consumer Complaint line.

AWFUL! That pretty much sums up my experience with ACS. Thank goodness I am no longer working with them. Also, what a horrible website. Very outdated and completely unhelpful.

What an incredibly frustrating experience! After waiting on hold for nearly an hour (I am on hold still while typing), I tried to navigate the online site to no avail. I've emailed for help, received no response. What awful customer support!

This is the most ridiculous experience (I remember dealing with this last year). After you press 1 for English, press 8 several times. You'll eventually get to a representitive. My other loans are through American Education Services. I suggest using them.

i have had loans with ACS for many years. This is the first year I have had problems with them and after reading other posts here, i am really nervous. My payment is taken out automatically. This is the first year that they did NOT send me my tax form to my email. I can't remember my password, so when i went online (4 times now)to have a new password sent to my email, it has NOT been delivered! I am sorry to say this does not sound very good for this company.

I called no help. I faxed no response. I emailed and auto response email with secure email that doen't work. I requested password again and no response. Don't get student loan from them. If you did, change them.

This company has some serious IT issues. I tried calling the number but it does not even give you the option to speak to a live person. But here is the trick people. When it is going through the options do all the options up to the last four digits of the social and than press 8. It will say that you pressed an incorecct key. Keep listening it will eventually say for more options press 3. Than you are home free.

OK, the way to get a CSR on the phone is to push "1" for English or whatever and then just hit the 8 or 9 key a few times...this will send you to two options...click "1" for website assistance...and be on hold fro a bit and you will get a CSR on the phone..I just tried to change my bank account info with her and she could not do anything for me....no assistance. AND, the first tie I called this morning, she hung up on me....the second time, with my assertive voice...and demeanor...she stayed on the phone. ACS is going down!!

What customer service? No one is on the other end of the phone, no one. I have been trying to change my bank account info with them. I cannot do it online and I cannot do it over the phone, now what? I am seriously feeling that ACS is a scam. My principal balance is less than what I owe and I have been making on time payments since the loan got sold to ACS. This is ridiculous and I am about to take drastic measures. Two days ago I paid $400 on my loan and they take out $800 from my bank! WTF?

"Service and Support" is an overstatement. I have made 3 separate complaints via email that ACS has not responded to as they promised. Initially they stated in the automatic response to my complaint on Oct 29, 2012 that they would contact me in 2-3 business days; they have not. I found this web site and a phone number to contact a person; I called, they asked me to call back in 30 minutes because their network was down. I will never use their services again and I will dedicate a portion of my life to making sure no one blindly stumbles into their “loan shark” type of business by giving negative reviews about them on EVERY social media outlet available. The interest rate on my student loan with them is 11.5%. I have NEVER been late with a payment and I cannot get them to return my calls.

I made the mistake of trying to pay off my loan early. After paying the amount by phone I was still charged my normal monthly payment. I was told by customer service that the payoff hadn't gone through because of my auto-pay status. She cancelled this and took the remaining payoff. I should not have been at all surprised when BOTH payoffs went through for an enormous amount of money. Of course they wanted me to do all the work to correct their mistake (which should have been caught by any computer system built in the last 20 years). The supervisor's advice was to dispute the charge with my bank because it would take ACS 30 days to issue a refund. Let the runaround begin... My favorite line of the night was "Sir, I didn't say it would take 30 days to fix the problem, just 30 days to issue a check." For me, being overdrawn by so much money for 30 days is the problem.

I've requested statements mailed multiple times, enduring long hold times when attempting to speak with an agent. I do not get a statement every month but get one every two months at which time they charge late fees. Tired of them!

I was told that I will not receive word about my deferment until I am no longer in a grace period, October 8, 2012. I have been emailing ACS...about seven times...and calling repeatedly.



Why did no one tell me my request would not be processed until the first day I was out of grace period?



I have other loans with Great Lakes and they processed my request within 24 hours about two weeks ago.

On the website tool, it was estimated I would receive a response on Sept. 13.



If I don't hear until October 16th or later, I have less time to address my considerable financial problems....

You guys have no customer service. I have called you numerous times about my acount and have received my statement only once after all the times I called. How do you expect your customers to pay their loans when you do not send a statement?
