I hardly know where to begin! Relentless hours on the phone to get prior authorization for a refill. Not a drug with potential for abuse. No "street value;" just effective Rx for degenerative joint pain.
Nine days, countless "helpful" representatives later, staying on hold indefinitely...success! At least, my doctor's office called to say so--still no callback/confirmation from CVS/Caremark. The absolute WORST pharmacy(ies)(this I knew from prior experience); unethical, inefficient and untruthful pharmacy benefit management company. Here's hoping for a new PBM come open enrollment.

CVS care mark insurance is the worst insurance I have ever had I would never recommend them to any one!I have called them quite a few times to take care of a problem with my insurance and they have yet to do it and every time I call a representative to take care of it they have no idea what to do. Why do they have a job if they can not use a computer and fix the problem I am unable to fill my prescriptions with my insurance because care mark does not know how to do there job. I have to keep paying out of pocket. Why do I pay for insurance if I am unable to use it. They need to get it together over there and on the same page. Very unhappy with them I am looking into other insurance company's.

I went to CVS Pharmacy on Market Street, Lemoyne, Pa. 17043 ( West Shore Plaza ) Comp Dr. had sent in another prescription for my neck pain from a job injury. When I told her there is no co pay for me , she said it went under caremark. I showed her the insurance card from Eastern Alliance and told her I used it here before for the required prescriptions. She said they have nothing on file and couldn't use it. I was told to wait until all the other customers in line were taken care of. The next customer was my pregnant daughter, had problem with her insurance card also. My daughter called insurance right away and gave the phone to the tech. As she is giving the imformation , she gives " my birthdate " so I said NO, you're mixing mine up with hers. She finally was able to get hers. However she insisted she couldn't give me mine even though I told her that I've used it at this very pharmacy for the same injury. I took my card back and walked out as I told her I'm not getting my blood pressure up. There seems to be a great lacking in responding to a patient's needs. I can't believe they have no way of seeing I've gotten prescriptions there for this from Norlanco. Now I'm without the medication he subscribed. I will call Eastern Alliance on Monday to ask where else I can go , as well as the Doctor to let him know I was unable to get the medication. I will definitely call my regular insurance to see what other pharmacy I may use also. It may not matter that I'm only one customer but I do believe in word of mouth and I will let anyone I can of my situation and how poorly it was handled. Thank you for your time.
Sincerely,
Lmp.

Due to my employer changing to CDPHP was forced to use Caremark for one controlled medicine. These clowns have had my pres. for over a month, promises of 'over night' delivery--lies--have decided to bring legal action against them. Have run out of my med and still they are lying to me every time I call. This horrible company is a joke and are going to be responsible for someone's death. Will pay out of pocket from now on at the local pharmacy.

In late December I submitted a order form that included a new prescription an a request for two renewals with existing prescription numbers.I asked that these be filled not before Jan. 1 2014. I also requested express shipment and paid an additional $17 for this. I received notice that my order was shipped on 1-2-14 and it arrived a couple days later but only contained the new prescription. I called to report this oversite and even filed a complaint. Initially they wanted me to pay another $17 for express shipment as it was heart medication that I was totally out of. I finally talked to someone who agreed it was their mistake and they would ship the remaining two prescriptions express at no additional charge. When I had not received it by the 3rd day I called again and was told it was shipped on Jan 7, but it was shipped regular mail , gave me a tracking number, and was told I would not have it until the 14th. I ask if they could authorize one of your CVS stores to give me an override so I didn't have to go another week without my heart medication. They advise they couldn't do that but I should ask my Dr. to call in another prescription somewhere, which he did. When I went to pick it up I was told my Health Net insurance wouldn't cover it because Caremark had already filled the order. So I had to pay for my prescription because of TWO Caremark screw ups. I also had two refills remaining on prescription and when I finally got the prescription on the 14th the new bottle said I had 0 left. Screw up # 3 on the same simple order. You can put me down as a unhappy customer! James Graham

I'am very ticked off with one of the clerks in the Pharmacy, her name tag has Carlee on it and she is very rude, when ever I go there to drop off a prescription
she makes you feel you are doing her a favor by coming into the store.
I will pay full price somewhere else just so I don't have to go back to this store.
The store is in Fremont, Ohio 43420 and is on East State Street.
I have herd this from a few other people and I will not put up with this type of unfriendly ness.
If something is not done with this person I will never go this store again.
Thanks for you time.

I submitted 3 prescriptions on June 26th to be filled as soon as my prescription coverage was transferred to Caremark (July 1st).
Only one of the prescriptions was filled, the other two were cancelled, and I only now found out about it because I registered
an account online to see where the hold-up was. I called to find out why the prescriptions were cancelled, and the representative said
that it was because they were voided because they were received before my benefit became active. So why the hell would they send me the forms to fill-out and mail in my prescriptions before the first of July
when they would just be voided anyway? Also, they never notified me of the cancellation.

I have had Caremark for ever, years, and years, and it's all been fine. However, for the last two weeks I have been trying to get my script for Lyrica. I have been taking it for years along with the Lamictal. Caremark's pharmacist had the nerve to tell me that Lyrica and Lamictal are both anti-seizure drugs, and that I needed a note from one of the doctors about this before I could receive these two drugs together. If it was a bad medication therapy for me, I would be dead by now.

So because of all of this going back and forth with my MD and my psychiatrist, and Caremark, it has been two weeks, and I still have not received my srcript. I have never had so much problems in my life with these people!!!!!

Dr. Coccia is my MD, and my psychiatrist is Dr. Meadows. Coccia prescribes the Lyrica, and Meadows prescribes the Lamictal, and both are aware of all of the medications I take.

What is wrong with this picture?! I need my medication, I am 61 years old, and I can't take much more of this. All of this is causing me mental anquish, and I need relief soon. At any other pharmacist this medication is close to $200, with Caremark it is $70, and I still have to make monthly payments until it is paid for. Find out what is going on, please! My FEP is:

I had no warning that CVS Caremark was changing their address. When I called the , as stated on my rx bottle, the person answered with the statement that the number had been changed, and that company had bought the number, and tried to "sell" me a Walmart gift card worth $100 if I would sign up for a magazine subscription that could be cancelled within 15 days if I didn't want it. Some come on. I kept asking for the new number for CVS Caremark and they gave me a number that was no longer in service. I then went online to get a number that didn't answer as CVS Caremark, but some other company. I asked to speak to a representative, and finally got my questions answered and the new phone number to call for future rx refills. I was very disappointed in the new plan you have of letting people know what's going on. :(

First order.....most frustrating experience I've ever had. They said they needed a new script for my Inhaler, they contacted my doctor and he faxed them a new one. Then, it was supposed to ship on March 16 - and didn't. I called Cust Service every day for a week and was told it was processing - finally, I e-mailed them and was told my particular inhaler was not on their "preferred medicine list" ... have you doctor send a new script for something else.

Our Company uses Caremark for prescriptions,I mailed in a perscription and put on the order that not to send until requested. They don't read their orders cause they mailed them anyway.I called them and after they looked a the order they said they made a mistake and would send me a mailing slip to send them back and would refund the cost ($300.00) and it would take about 7 to 10 days to get here. Well that was 25 days and no slip.I feel they have no intentions to refund or take the meds back.DON'T TRUST ANYTHING THEY TELL YOU ,THEYDO LIE.

I have had fairly good service through the years. My complaint: I am diabetic and have been taking Glucophage because I could not tolerate the metformin generic. I send in my prescription on which the doctor had written "Glucophage." I received in the mail generic metformin. When I called, the pharmicist said since my doctor did not say no generic he took it upon himself to fill to his liking. I told him if it said Glucophage how come he did not just fill what it said. He said I would have to get a new prescription from my doctor. I thought when a prescription stated the drug that was what a pharmicist should do.

Obese (I could tell by his heavy breathing) CVS Caremark telephone rep basically went out of his way to rudely prove that I am an idiot this afternoon while anally babbling my ear off about how CVS Caremark is the best prescription company in the nation. Well, sorry, but I ordered my prescriptions online 2 weeks ago and if I don't get my prescriptions more efficiently, that puts me at risk of dying. Worst prescription service EVER.

Terrible service. Pre-authorizations and generic equivalents are a joke. Waited two weeks for approvals for pain meds and High blood pressure prescription. This insurance company is going to kill someone with their practices.

Worst mail order service ever encountered.
Never never ever use them. They are the absolute worst on this planet.
On the phone with them for hours still can't get to the right department. They always said that they don't have the power or knowledge to answer question and bounce you to another department. and the other department will do exactly the same. So at the end, I wasted the whole day to listen to their hold music.

Called in my rx #. I waited 10 days for it to arrive. It never showed up. I called and the supervisor was going to ship it over night. The supervisor did give me a tracking #. I tracked the number through the postal service. The postal service said they never received the package. This whole process has been a nightmare.I now have my insursance company involed in this.I am going to follow through with the PA Board of Medicine.

Caremark has a amazingly bad website! It is difficult to do the most basic task. It takes about 4 or 5 clicks just to get to a place where your can do what you intended. Information is different depending where you end up. I cannot believe that they don't see how user unfriendly the site is and make it better. I have submitted over 10 recommendations but have never gotten any feedback or followup from them. I guess they don't care.

Employer (Time Inc.) just switched to CVS Caremark. No record of us.

Man asks, "Can I have the numbers you use to file your taxes?"

What do you mean?" I say.

He repeats that. "I seriously don't know what you mean."

"Well then, I can't help you. I suggest you go onto caremark.com and try to log in."

"But I don't have my ID number, which is what I need to set up an account."

"Try your Social Security number."

"Couldn't you try that?"

"I'm not allowed to ask you for your social, but if you give it to me, I will try..."

"Uh, thanks anyway?" Man hangs up, googles Caremark scam, find this page, tells this pathetic story.

I am an employee of a university much better known for its football than its academic quality (since its location is Lincoln, Neb., you have one guess)that is trying through Caremark to force its staff onto generics. When I talked with a Caremark rep he assured me repeatedly that Caremark would continue to cover meds that had no direct generic alternative--which is my situation. But when tried to refill a prescription at my pharmacy I was informed my doctor would have to send a justification and even then Caremark would decide if that justification was sufficient. I have been taking my meds for a number of years to the satisfaction of myself and my doctor. For Caremark to assume final say, Isn't this practicing medicine without a license? And even if Caremark has bought a hack MD, isn't prescribing medicine for a patient he has never seen a breach of ethics and even the law? My experience shows that Caremark is so crooked that its staff can't keep their lies straight. If our politicians were not the best money can buy, ordinary citizens would not so victimized.

OMG, i am going to warn you about this company. I had never used a mail order pharmacy before and i never will again. My doctor called in a90 day supply. I got a 30 day supply in the mail 3 weeks later after many many calls. They attempted to correct the issue and send another 60 day supply...I am still waiting. this all started on 11/26....4 weeks later and nothing. they lie and don't document your calls with them correctly, they place orders on hold for no reason. it is a nightmare. I would strongly suggest you save your nerves and just pick it up.

Caremark filled a prescription that called for a generic with the brand name at a cost to us of $500+ rather than $18. After checking the website before the meds were received we were told the doctor had written a no-generic note 2 years ago which they decided to recognize now even though the new prescription was specifically written to allow generics and generics have been provided over the last 18 months by Caremark. So we are out over $500 which if applied in Jan 2013 at least would apply to our annual deductible. Double whammy.

Caremark's mail service sent me 4 boxes of lancets (diabetic supply) that I did not order - they claim it is 'automatic'. I don't care what their policy is - they refuse to take back medication, though this is a supply, not a medication. I sent several e-mails via their website, all of which were answered with 'canned' responses. So I called my American Express card people and asked them to cancel $37.20 of the total price Caremark charged me. I realize this isn't a ton of money, but it is the principle of the thing - it is wrong to send people items they did not order an then argue with them as to whose fault it is. I did offer to send back their lancets, COD, since they won't deal with it, and I also removed my credit card information from their site so they cannot do this to me again. I will fill future prescriptions at CVS locally and count my pills/boxes of test strips since clearly we cannot trust Caremark's mail service - I found 200 complaints on a Consumer affairs website and added mine

Had a horrible experience with Caremark. I was with MedCo for years and was approved for a medication. I went to the pharmacy and was shocked to find that I was no longer approved. After getting the run around, I was essentially told that Caremark was not honoring anything MedCo had previously authorized. I was then told that my employer contracted with them and thats what I'm stuck with. I am now hoping that my Doctor can get through to them so I can continue using a medication that I need. I suppose some corporate hacks in offices decide what medications you need instead of the Doctors with caremark.

Customer service rep. could not or would not handle my perscription expiration problem. I had obtained a "bridge' perscription from my Dr. while Caremark and I worked on the problem of their miscalculation of the date that I would be allowed to refill my perscription. They refused to cover the bridge perscription and insisted that the two week waiting period could not be overridden. Even when the customer rep agreed with my explanation of the miscaluculation. Very frustrating and my benefits were not met on this partcular perscription- I paid full, uncovered expense.
