I recently learned that my cvs caremark prescription coverage was "inactive." I was NOT NOTIFIED when this change in my account occurred. When I call, rep cannot give reason why it was cancelled ("we don't keep this info") and would not say exactly when it went inactive (we're not allowed to give out that info"). I called pharmacy and was able to determine, account went inactive 1st of this yr. No coverage for 4 months! Note: I have been making my payments on time and no changes to my insurance whatsoever! What if I was a senior on fixed income and out of blood pressure meds? I would think notifying customers of any changes to their account would be of paramount importance. I mean you ARE SUPPOSED TO BE A HEALTH CARE COMPANY, right? If I had the option to change companies I would. What CVS Caremark does is unethical and puts people's heath at risk.

I have concerns about this Medication Insurance with CareMark/CVS as the medication plan has changed. I have a history of sinus infections & my Doctor has always prescribed a Z pack which is effective for my sinus infections. I was recently informed at a CVS pharmacy that Caremark denied the Z pack prescription. How can a prescription be denied if it has been an ongoing medication?

HORRIBLE!!!I I receive my insulin by mail each month. Included in the box is an invoice without a specified due date. I was told the amount you owe just stays in your "account balance" until paid. I always paid by phone in a timely manner. I would always use my debit card to pay. My debit card was on file so I wouldn't have to enter the banking info in every time I paid. I'd been doing it this way since I started the mail order (approx 5 mos). Well, yesterday I received my insulin but the invoice showed that I had already paid. I knew I hadn't so I checked my banking online. Note: I'm on a small fixed income, SS disability and only receive one check each month. CVS had withdrawn monies from my bank account WITHOUT MY PERMISSION! I had NEVER signed up for auto pay with them or any other company for that matter. Long story short and at least an hour on the phone, they would not reverse the charge! Emily L.(Sr. Resolution Rep) smuggly said she could send me a return label and I could return the insulin! Mind you the medicine that keeps me alive!!! I felt like I would explode at any moment. When I told her this was totally unacceptable she put me on a very very long hold then came back to tell me she had spoke to her supervisor, Jennifer B. and said they can't do anything about it! I told her to cancel my account that I no longer wanted to be their customer! Now my checking account is going to incur overdraft fees because I did not budget to include this $105 that they illegally withdrew from my account.

CVS Caremark is unfortunately the prescription coverage in my benefits package of my new job. They are the absolute worst. My prescription copay jumped from $40 for a 30 day supply to $120 for a 30-day supply. When talking to them, they told me if I go through their mail only pharmacy, I could get a 90 day supply for the $120. I told them that is what I wanted to do, and they said they would contact my physician for the prescription. They did contact my doctor, but, although I agreed to a 90 day supply for $120, they apparently requested only a 30 day - charged me the $120 and sent only 30 pills. When I contacted them, the response essentially was "too bad: The prescription was for 30 days". They purposefully quoted me the 90 day price, then requested the massively more expensive 30 day prescription. As a result, I will not have meds for 2 months - as I certainly cannot afford to pay $120 a month.

This company only exists to collect premiums and auto-deny all meds. Don't expect the customer 'care' reps to actually care. I asked one if caremark was trying to kill me and she said, "if that's what needs to happen." Her attitude sums up caremark's business model, collect premiums, deny coverage until the subscriber dies.

DO NOT expect this company to be aware of their jobs. They work from home, loose prescriptions, send you to all the wrong departments,place you on hold then hang up on you.! Makes perfect sense that out of 134 reviews with this one, 132 are negative! Get some offices for your employees! Your sloppy shows!

Unbelievably, ridiculously awful. If you want a company that has zero communication between departments, repeatedly screws up orders and doesn't send medications that you need to stay alive, and makes you spend hours a week, week after week, month after month, trying to straighten it out, you've come to the right place! CVS Caremark sent me Ozempic that I didn't order. CVS also sent me the wrong dose. I hadn't ordered from them in over a year. When I called they said policy is they won't accept returns. Plus they charged twice what my local pharmacy does which is why I stoped ordering it from them in the first place. Now I have a $119 dollars of a Med I can't take. They are thieves that take advantage of seniors and should be ashamed of the way they treat customers.

Shipped medicine I hadn't ordered and charged TEN TIMES the copay my actual pharmacy charges. WHILE my dispute of the charge was "in appeal," they turned it over to a collections agency.

My employer recently forced us to switch from our previous excellent prescription plan to this CVS Caremark garbage...expect prescription refusals of coverage regularly....I had 2 last week...they require authorizations for EVERYTHING and refuse 75% of Auth requests....complete crap

20 Years With Cvs Pharmacy And The Indians Switched To Cvs Caremark, Quit Jacking With The Customer. Everytime I Call You Lie To Me. Your Insurance Is So Bad, Along With Your Customer Service! This business is awful. I am on a medication I get injected monthly. I've had nothing but issues with this medication being filled. They make excuses as to why they can't fill it. I answer what they need to be able to fill and they say "it's going to arrive at your doctors office on ____ date". Then it never arrives and I call and find out they canceled my order and never communicated why. I rely on this medication heavily. It's been 2.5 months without it. Nonstop fighting. They claim they don't know why this keeps happening. This company should be shut down. PERIOD. Do NOT use this company if you have a choice.

Absolute garbage if I had a choice I would never come to these guys again they are the worst. Doctors have submitted rou prescription request to be put on formulary brands and they choose to deny them saying they have to be generic due to not tried other ones when patient has already tried other ones. Do not listen the worst company avoid at all costs

If you like being told 'your doctor didn't prescribe that' or 'we sent that to you' or 'here's how much it will cost' or 'we won't bill you until you approve the cost' when NONE of those things are true, then this is the pharmacy for you! The phone folks are SO HELPFUL and kind, but WHATEVER MACHINE TAKES OVER IS NUTS. NOTHING they say happens. Want the medication you asked for? Sucks to be you! If you live in CA they will send you whatever they want. Don't like it? Call for 6 weeks begging for the right one, then they will send it (6 weeks late) and NEVER GIVE YOU THOSE 6 weeks BACK! So if you are a 'whatever drug you wanna give me is cool, whenever you wanna send it' kind of consumer, then sure, they are fine. If you've been on the same rx for 25 years, get ready for a shakeup.

My company switched our pharmacy plan to CVS/caremark this year & it has been a nightmare. I received prior authorization on the 8th, I received a letter on the 15th & when I called them on the 16th, they had not processed my prescription. I asked the representative if they could approve a small amount that would carry me over until I received their mail order. He placed me on hold to ask & came back on in 45 seconds to say they would not approve it even though I have been out of my medicine for over 2 weeks. I hope this nightmare never happens again.

Absolute worse. Every time my endocrinologist changes my diabetic and thyroid meds I have to fight to get them covered. My doctor completes the proper forms, Caremark archives the prescription and refuses to fill without HOURS offrustration on my part. I think it's deliberate on their part just to see if I give up

I mailed my refill sheet for two drugs on May 20 with a check, On June 6th I wondered where the order was, so I called - she said yes we received your check and it was deposited as a credit in your account on May 26, I said where are the drugs - they never processed anything. I told her I need the pills, she said ok - I see we goofed - I will send them out next day no extra charge because it was our fault. ok - so next day - no pills - I called again - was told no that takes 24 to 48 hours - so you will bet them by ups on Wednesday. In this call they mentioned I had a third drug they could also fill - I said ok - Now on Wednesday I get a call no they can not fill the 3 rd drug - it had no refills - so I call again - pills still have not been sent - asked why - they have no idea - So 3 people have guaranteed these pills will be sent - Today spoke with another lady - not sure but she will try to help - how hard is this - you got the check - you know what I need - send them - for the love of God - what is wrong here ......These are blood pressure medication and this deal is going to kill me.

I am receiving emails that say I have paid $735.20 for cvs bill receipt no. I do not owe anything because I have not ordered anything. Please rectify this matter immediately

I was going to get a picture copied of a graduation gift at the Auburn,Mass Cvs.....Matt Harwood took time to help with it...it was not very good.....Matt spent a lot of time getting it perfect.....That is the great service and friendlyness that made it so wonderful....thank you Matt

Stupidly, I left my prescrition at home while going on vacation. Because we have Caremark, I went to CVS at 5308 Branson Parkway in Kissimee, FL. Maureen Jackson, the Pharmacist there, was superb. Caremark was also, but they took a lot of time and callbacks which Maureen handled professionally and with a lot of patience!

Because of Maureen I can enjoy my vacation in good health. Thank you CVS and especially Maureen Jackson!
