I attempted to return a long sleeve crew, because after wearing and washing it once, the fit was totally different, the whole garment became much bigger and was just hanging in me. Loved the color and the style. But..seemingly there was poor quality control on this fabric. I still had the receipt , however no tags. No consideration towards this very unpleasant experience? No refund nor exchange for a smaller size, nor credit towards future purchases? No apologies either. So dissapointing.

2 pairs of runners 10 out of 10...Until my last pair.3 out of 10..Obviously the soles are now made of lesser quality materials..After 1 and a half years of light use..I found myself on my ass! No tread left..My son bought a pair after and they are already in the garbage..NEVER EVER AGAIN WILL WE BUY YOUR RUNNERS.

Do not buy anything online from Columbia.
Sizes are not accurate and they charge 6$ for return.

Bought a pair of pants, on sale on Jan.28th 2021. Purolator said it was delivered on Feb.2nd. But it was not delivered. I chatted more times then I can remember with Columbia customer service chat : pointless as they do not want to reimburse me. They don't want to issue a store credit. They want me to buy a second pair and they would reimburse the first that is missing. But it is sold out. So we go round and round. I want to be reimbursed. They send me to Purolator. I go there. I get a written answer from Purolator. They confirm it was not delivered. They ask me to forward the information to Columbia. New chat after three hours waiting. We go around and around again, they want to hear nothing about the Purolator letter(email) that proves it was not delivered. And refuse to reimburse me. And ask me to claim it to Purolator. Purolator is NOT the company I bought the pants from. Columbia is. Columbia is 100% acting as if they are above the law where I live, and where they do business. The law here states clearly that when a contract of sale is done, the good is provide, or the money is reimbursed. End of story. I will never buy anything thru Columbia Sportswear Canada website ever again, as they act completely without any regards for official laws. We have already enough people and business that do that, without encouraging one more to do so. I did file a claim thru the BBB prior to taking legal action, which will follow if the BBB doesn't resolve the issu, and if Columbia does not reimburse me in full.

I have ordered winter jacket from Columbia sportswear and delivery services delivered at my door and they did not inform me that they delivered when i went to check there was no parcel I asked everyone but no one got parcel from my house. their agents are rude and did not try to understand the situation and did not give me my money. i would not expect this type of service from Columbia. it is worst experience. i will never buy anything from Columbia.

I Received A Pair Of Flex Shell , Waterproof Boots As A Gift ,, I Wore Them 2 Times And They Completely Fell Apart !!!! The Stitching All Pulled Away From The Top Of The Boot ,,, So Dissapointed !!!!! I Buy All Columbia Jackets .. And I Love Them All And Never Had An Issue With Them ,, But These Boots !!!!! I ordered one of the coats they had on sale for $49.99. It shipped December 5th. Was suppose to deliver December14th. On December 14th message sent said running late. HOW LATE??? WHERE IS IT??
WAS THAT ALL A HOAX???
MY NEXT STEP IS THE BBB!!!
worked on this for 5 hours today!!! CANNOT GET THROUGH ON THE PHONE AND ONLINE CHAT IS A JOKE!!

Absolutely awful customer service. I places an order on November 30, 2020. It never even shipped out. It's still in "preshipping". The offered to place my order again with expedited shipping but no guarantee that I would receive it before Christmas. I asked for an additional discount. I feel I had been more than patient and had spent 45 minutes on hold. The beat they could offer me was selling me the jacket at the "original discounted pricing". I requested a refund. What awful customer service and right before Christmas. They are clearly unorganized and I wouldn't order anything from there ever again.

I bought a Columbia vest in the spring of 2020 from your outlet store in Chelais Washington. On December 14 2020 the zipper came off. How can I return it exchange it or get a refund>

I have been trying to return hiking boots I purchased online. When I try to print off return slip online my past order information cannot be found. I have purchased 3pair of hiking boots, was able to return one pair that did not fit easily no issues with printing off return etc.
The other two pair do not fit also, which I am very disappointed by.
Now to return these two pair it has been an issue.
I would appreciate support with this issue.

Columbia customer service is terrible, hours of wait time on the phone. I purchased a jacket with a lifetime warranty. You cannot get ahold of anyone to honor the warranty. The jacket is separating from the seams. I wear this jacket to both Bass Pro and Cabellas. I want everyone to know Columbia are liars and will not honor their warranty. I show and tell everyone I see and suggest they do not by Columbia products.

Called several days ago. Never did get a call back. Called today waiting time 46 minutes at beginning of call. Up to 57 minutes a f getting longer. Never will order again!!!!

This morning I'll place a order for two fleeces one black and one blue extra large but when I receive my confirmation for shipment I was going to be shipped two black fleece I contacted customer service and was told I could not cancel my order or have a change to it this is not fair

A Columbia cap which letter's fall off with the touch of a finger. We took it back to the store with a receive and employee understood however store manager by the name Brad refuse return an apologetic and with a nasty attitude. I have similar caps that has last for year so no excuse one single wear letter will fall.

1. Agent immediately assumed the issue with completing the purchase was because there was a problem with my credit card and told me I needed to contact the bank Never attempted any additional assistance and was abrupt in a hurry to get rid of me. Did not even attempt one time to complete the failed purchase directly. I contacted my credit card company who looked at the account and saw that there were multiple attempts from Columbia to process charges in the exact same amount. Chase assured me that there were no holds, no over limit, no blocks or restrictions on the account that would have prevented the charges from being approved and stated the issue is Columbia was not finalizing the purchase.
2.Explained the entire issue several times that we were unable to complete a purchase online due to a system error Stated very clearly that we had already spoken to the credit card company and that Columbia had placed 7 holds on the account in the same amount.. about $100. Chase also assured us that we should not worry as these "pending" charges would automatically disappear unless one (or more) of the sales were finalized with Columbia. This was very clearly explained to the agent and that our need was to purchase one jacket.. finish one of the orders in process and move on. After 30+ minutes of the agent "checking with her team members" with us on hold, she came back on line and said "Don't worry, the charges will drop after a few days". We still did not get the issue resolved, the inability to complete a purchase online. More than 2 hours of our time has been wasted attempting to purchase one coat online.
3. FINALLY after 24 hours and 8 attempts was able to complete the order.. online,, without the assistance of customer care. Never did get a response from anyone as promised. Additionally the original final price of the coat with all promo and rewards applied was $94.97. Mysteriously, $5 of rewards were no longer available, so the final price today was $99.97. EXACT same credit card details were entered today as yesterday and order processed and confirmed. Have to suspect this was all about the $5. Stole 2+ hours of our lives for $5. Shameful business practice.

First and last time buying from Columbia online. Bought a pair of running shoes in size 10.5 (which has fit me universally with every other shoe purchase of my life) and arrived HUGE! Had to check the tongue to make sure it was actually a "10.5". Claims to be but literally leaves a good 3 inches in the toes. Now I'm getting charged for shipping to return them. They won't even do a proper "exchange" I have to place a new order and then hope they accept my return when they get it. Not great customer service if you ask me.

I received a coat in the wrong size or style for me at Christmas. I already have three other Columbia jackets and didn't need this one. I just wanted a refund for whatever the jacket cost. I was refused money back, that the gift giver would get the refund on her card only and I could only get a gift card. I don't plan to buy any Columbia merchandise anytime soon. The gift giver already paid. To not give me a refund is out of wack with return standards I have ever dealt with and one way Columbia is able to hold onto profits. Now I have a useless gift card and to cash it in with Payal Cash out is going to take almost one third of the value.

On October 20, I received a rain jacket for $110 to give as Christmas gift. It was too small, and EXTREMELY NOISY fabric. Gosh, Christmas this year was on the 25th, and Columbia will not return it. So much for "a great American company doing what Jesus would do. Bah Humbug!

I ordered an medium Softshell Hoodie end of October (as Christmas gift),to insure it was available. It does NOT fit far too small. Now being refused a refund or exchange! If you buy from this company BEWARE of time limit, THIS IS NOT obviously visible on their web-sight.
Will not be recommending company to ANYONE.

Bought a pair of winter boots online this past week. When I received them each boot was found to be defective. So I call them and tell them I want to exchange them for a new pair. Columbia tells me they are nice enough to print me a free ground label to send back and that I could either wait for them to receive it back and they would re credit my account or I could by a new pair and they would reimburse me after they receive the pair I send back. This is a great policy.........if it were in the 1980's. Time to update your return policy, Columbia, and be more streamline instead of well, the 1980's.

The long coat I ordered is very uncomfortable. I am currently trying to return. As many feedbacks I am reading I have no return label in the info included with the coat. Now what do I do? VERY dissatisfied with Columbia return policy.

I always wear a size XL and while I can zip this up it is extremely snug. I would not be comfortable sitting down with it. Feel it would put lots of pressure on bottom of zipper. Could not wear sweater under it. Beautiful jacket and well made, but too small.

Be very careful buying online. Their sizes are way-off and they do not fit. Even M is like LARGE size. When I am trying to return, they are charging $6. WOOWWWWW... Nice rip off!! I cannot return to store unlike KOHLS or AMAZON or anyother store. I have to do only via UPS for $6 FLAT FEE. I am never shopping online with Columbia. Good luck !! See you soon in the list of STORE closing (online and stores)....

After reading all the comments, I will not try to return the shirt that I ordered which is too big, especially on an unsecure website. I will not order again online from Columbia - poor customer service! This is sad, I will spread the word to others. Another thing, who can read the verification letters? Best guess is GROY!
