HORRIBLE AIRLINE!! My flight from Jordan to Paris was CANCELLED without any previous form of notification. I had to wait another 24hrs for the next flight!! On top of that I was never told why it was cancelled because there were no AIRFRANCE representatives available at the Queen Alia Airport at any given time except 3 hrs before they're daily departing flight. Neither did they answer the one phone number provided. Once I was able to get a hold of a representative he claimed that I had no plane ticket to board the next plane after my last one had been cancelled. After hours of arguing and waiting one of the representatives made an arrangement for me to take the next flight from Paris to Los Angeles and from there to my home in San Diego. However once I reached Paris the flight to LA was delayed 2 hrs! Because of this I missed my connecting flight to San Diego and had to wait at the LA airport for another 5hrs!! THIS AIRLINE IS SO INEFFICIENT AND PROVIDES THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!

My baggage was delayed for 5 days. Air France refused to deliver to my home address. Had to do a 3 hour round trip to collect. No compensation offered as yet.

HI ALL I WANT FROM THIS AIRLINE WAS TO GIVE MY MONEY BACK... I SUBMITTED ALL REQUIRED DOCUMENTS THAT YOU NEED FOR REFUND REQUEST NOW I STILL NOT RECIEVE ANYTHING INFORMATION REGARDING TO THAT REQUEST

On 10/21/12 we ( 3 of us) missed connection in Paris fly 690 to Miami. We were at the gate when they close doors. The reason for missing was than in Warsaw AF waited for some people from Pakistan.
However, in Paris they could not wait for us. Although they gave us vouchers to stay at Ibis hotel they kept us wating for 4 hours at the airport before providing for our wheel chairs.
- Why they did not wait for us?
- Why they took sooo long to bring the wheel chairs?
-- Why they waited for the Pakistanis in Warsaw and not for us (US citizens) in Paris?
WE WERE VERY UPSET /

During a Paris to DC flight, at the airport, Air France mistreated me and my daughter because of our race and color; they Sold our seats, and then made us travel as if we were buddy pass/companion ticket holders; the ridiculed and lied to us; they made an engagement they knew they had no intention to keep, promising us to wait 15 minutes for compensation. In the end their action didn’t follow their words: they stalled and made us wait more than one full hour and withheld the compensation - showing malice. As the result of them toying with us, my 8 year-old, who has been traveling yearly since age 9 months and never cried goodbye, was in tears. On board, they skipped us during the two meal services.
I lived in France 10 years, in the US 20 years and I travel annually to or via France and with Air France (not by choice. They have a longstanding history of abuse and discrimination and I do try to avoid them). Countless times, I’ve witnessed firsthand Air France’s mistreatment of and discrimination against passengers especially those of African origin. Any traveling person of African origin has a horrible tale to tell about this company but has nowhere to turn. I am convinced that if our discussion had taken place in English instead of French (being black and speaking French confirms one’s origin to them) the outcome of the trip would have been different. I (and many others) have put this theory to the test.
After numerous follow ups, Air France and Delta (we bought the tickets with Delta) refuse to acknowledge the gravity of the situation or take responsibility for it – an indication that they didn’t fully read my correspondence or they don’t care. Air France raises the passenger mistreatment bar in this customer-abusing industry because they remain unchecked.

RUN- from Air France! I could write a book on all the flight changes made to our itinerary weeks prior to our departure that had a negative affect on our travel plans and pocket book. (first clue we were in for a rough ride). Having us under a gun as we had non-refundable flights we moved forward with our trip to italy. We finally arrived back in the states last night…big sigh of relief to have that nightmare over. Flights cancelled, re-booked with flights that could not meet their connecting flights, overnight in Paris as a result. Then on again to more flight delays.
AGENTS ARE FLAT OUT RUDE, and as a US citizen, I almost felt that these agents took sure pleasure in our distress. NEWS FLASH- This airline has "partnered with" Aeroflot, Aerolineas, Aeromexico, Air Europa, Alitalia, China Airlines, China Eastern, China Southern, Czech Airlines, Delta, Kenya Airways, KLM, Korean Air, Middle East Airlines, Saudia, TAROM, Vietnam Airlines and Alaska Airlines.
We had connecting flights in the US with Delta, but flew with their partner Alaska Air? Essentially- my guess would be they look like many but act like one.
MONOPOLY! As a consumer flying today, the agents/airline treated my husband and I like third rate citizens. Absolutely no concern or care for their customers. What we purchased last May, was absolutely NOT what we ended up with. (flights to Europe are not cheap) In the future, I will definitely try my best to take a NON-STOP flight to where we are going- Look who your airline is partnered with, because they are becoming one big "PROFITABLE-HAPPY FAMILY" at the cost of the customer.

Very rude Air France personnel. They compete with each other in their rudeness and total lack of respect for customers. Losing bags is their favourite recreational activity. No sense of urgency or competency in locating lost baggage. Gosh, Air France has the laziest staff EVER! Look at the rest of the negative ratings....SHAME!

Air France and Paris CDG Airport SUCK! Every single leg of my roundtrip flights Zurich-Paris-Dulles I had a bag experience with Air France. First of all, transferring to connecting flights at CDG is the WORST. Air France is known to not allow enough time for passengers to reach connecting flights. It is an absolute nightmare to navigate the airport because there are no signs and you must stand in so many lines to go through passport control and security which is normal, but at this airport is complete chaos. Also you will always need to go to a different terminal and you must catch an extremely slow bus. There is a mysterious shuttle that should go directly from E to G but I have never found it and was always herded to the bus by Air France and airport employees. Luggage was always an issue. My bag was delayed in Paris and for some reason sent by United to get to me. Instead of reaching me the same day that the luggage arrived it actually sat in the United baggage department, on the second day of my vacation I was so fed up with speaking to Air France baggage customer service on the phone giving me wrong and misleading info that I just went to the airport. No one knew where my bag was and I had to go through the baggage offices at Air France AND United until I found my luggage and took it home myself. If I didn't do that I might not have had my bag a 3rd or 4th day. Taking my return flight, I found that I had a missing item from my bag. I only found broken shards of it inside my luggage. Furthermore, my husband also had a delayed bag on his return to Zurich. I am currently still trying to get reimbursed the necessities I needed to purchase because apparently my claim I filed online did not go through because their online form actually doesn't work! HORRIBLE experience in every sense!

First, our Thursday flight from Dulles to Paris was cancelled, then our next day's flight was cancelled as well. Due to the kindness of a stranger who gave up his seat, we were able to get on a flight Friday rather than wait TWO days. Baggage did not follow us - Three bags total. We were told they were on flights to Toulouse (our destination) all day Sunday. One bag finally arrived Monday - travelled one hour to airport to pick up myself. Told another bag was there on Tuesday, travelled the one hour again - no bag! AF cannot tell us where either one is or if we will ever see them again. Can't teach a jewelry-making class because all the teaching materials are in one of the two bags still lost. AF is a completely incompetent airline - more like a bureaucratic third world government.

My flight from houston to paris with airfrance has been a nightmare. Since I arrived they lost my luggage. They dont care if I was in business class or not they have treated me as I was guilt for this. Additionally they have a complete mass inside. They sent an email that my luggage was already in paris in the first day but by [hone they tell that they dont know. I postponed 1 day my vacation to wait for the luggage but they not even reply to me or give me any information. I had wasted my time going everyday buying clothing but now I am leaving to a vacations of 10 days for different places in mediterran sea and I will be forced to buy new luggage clothing, shoes, pharmacy and all stuff.

DO NOT FLY THIS AIRLINE!! AirFrance is the worst airline we have ever dealt with. Our party of 4 (including 2 teenagers) traveled from ATL to Barcelona with a layover in CDG. We paid the premium for business class tickets (thru Delta) only to have them not forward our luggage from Paris to Barcelona. Our trip was pretty much ruined. They could see our luggage at CDG & they would "try" to get it on the next flight. We boarded a cruise ship with no luggage. Some of our suitcases came 5 days into our cruise. The rest we didn't get until after we got home. The employees are heartless, cold, uncaring & there seems to be no consequences for them if they treat the customers like crap. There is no way to ever speak to a manager. Absolutley ubelievable that they can run a company like this and shame on Delta for partnering with them.

NEVER EVER AGAIN. Air France is a terrible airline. In all honesty, I have no idea how they are allowed to operate. I'll skip the loss of luggage drama on my flight to Prague and jump to the lack of professionalism the crew showed on my return flights from Budapest to CDG and then on to Boston/Logan. Rude staff at luggage/boarding pass area; One person demonstrating the safety strategies for the ENTIRE plane; Complete disregard for passengers seated near active and agitating unaccompanied children. Refusal to allow passengers desperate to make AF connecting flights to disembark the aircraft for no apparent reason. My grandmother was absolutely right, the vast majority of French people are rude and do not care for Americans. I will remain passionate about my feelings for Air France and discourage anyone from flying this poor excuse for an airline.

Absolutely rubbish!! Took an Air France flight from Marseilles to Berlin. My suitcase was destroyed. I attended the airpost office and had a damage report completed -acknowledging a replacement was necessary. Then Air France insisted I attend a luggage repair shop miles away from my hotel in Berlin (I was on vacation) to confirm the damage was irreparable. 15 Euros later and then running around trying to find a new suitcase while on holiday. I return to Canada and try to complete the online claim form and find the links don't even work (the form is supposed to be completed in 7 days - in my opinion a way for them to avoid paying or discourage claims). I call the number Air France provided for customer service in Canada - not in service (no suprise there). I finally find a link somewhere that works and it requires that you scan and attach 5 required items (luggage tag, boarding pass, receipts, damage report etc.) but you can only upload 2 items. I contact their customer service - another number I found on their various websites - I explain the upload limit problem. I hear silence - I say hello? She says "I didn't hear a question" (in a snotty condescending voice) I will NEVER EVER travel with Air France again. I will also make sure that I tell everyone I know what a unprofessional poor excuse for an airline they are. Wow - I cannot believe they can run a business like that!

Bag was checked in by Delta at SLC, via CDG through to CPH on an Air France codeshare. Waited 40 minutes at the luggage belt but bag was not there. Took a number at the baggage claim desk and waited another 45 minutes for my number to be called. Staff traced the tracking number and told me that the bag was still at CDG. However, even though they expected it would be sent from CDG to CPH that night, they advised it would take about 2 days for them to actually deliver it to my hotel, 'because they were behind in their deliveries of delayed luggage'. Absolutely unbelievable.

Yes I have been to the lost luggage offince of AF Paris CDG. The woman was very nice, collected all kinds of information, hit the enter key, gave me shower & shave kit, told me there wasn't anything she could do until tomorrow, and then proceeded to do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING FOR 6 DAYS!! GRRRRRRRRRRRR! Three days later when I got to Basel Switzerland THERE STILL WASN'T ANYTHING THEY COULD DO, and there still was no record of my luggage. A day later we got the bright idea to contact our travel insurance agency. Apparently the insurance company knew how to take a CATTLE PROD to the ABSOLUTE DOLTS working for Air France, who did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! Two days later, thanks to the insurance company, NOT AIR FRANCE, I had my suitcase........ GEEEEEEEZE! What SCREW UPS! "Sir there is nothing else we can do but type your info into the computer and send it off nowhere. No there isn't anyone we can call either, and if there were it would be night in Chicago."

AF is definetly the worst airline I've ever flown. Its personnel is rude, incompetent, misinformed and useless.
Its baggage service couldn't be worst and the people couldn't care less.

Worst service ever. Irresponsibility at their best! My parents havn't recieved their missing luggage since 5 days. Unable to trace any bags out of two. Noted for future not to choose Air France.

I join the ranks of thoroughly disgusted Air France customers. My sister-in-law traveled through CDG to Venice for a 16 day river cruise starting July 24th. Our luggage never made it. My sister-in-law was lucky to get hers back the day we returned. I haven't been so lucky. I have complied with all the on-line paperwork, talked almost daily with the lost luggage folks in Atlanta and I am still without luggage and clueless as to when anyone will respond to my written paperwork. Last trip on Air France for us. If I had known about their terrible record I would have avoided Paris and Air France.

My family recently flew back from Paris to Boston. Unfortunately one of the kids left an iPAD on the plane. We have been trying to contact AF for four days now and no one even pics up the phone number they list! There is not even an answering machine pretending to be helpful! The email address just sends back an automatic "we have received etc. etc.".

Just awful service. My wife is French and even she is disgusted by their completely unprofessional service. Not the first time we have been infuriated by them either but unfortunately we have to fly to France quite often.

Never fly Air France! What a horrible excuse for an airline. I have been all over the world. Not only did they lose my baggage, but they refused to answer on the 24 hour help line. I am disgusted. Going to contact a lawyer. Hoping they go out of business and that all of their qualified employees find work elsewhere.

NEVER FLY AIR FRANCE!! I AM CURRENTLY STUCK IN VENICE WITHOUT MY LUGGAGE (AND WEDDING DRESS). I FLY AIR FRANCE FROM CHICAGO TO CDG WITH A CONNECTING FLIGHT TO VENICE. THE FLIGHT ARRIVING INTO CDG WAS LATE AND WE HAD TO TAKE THE NEXT FLIGHT TO VENICE. UNFORTUNATELY MY BAG DID NOT MAKE THE TRANSFER. I HAVE BEEN TOLD IN THE PAST 24 HOURS THAT MY BAG WAS SUPPOSED TO BE ON 8 DIFFERENT FLIGHTS TO VENICE. IT HAS NOT ARRIVED. I HAVE BEEN LIED TO DECEIVED AND BEEN TREATED VERY RUDELY. AIR FRANCE HATES AMERICANS ----THIS IS OBVIOUS. I AM NOW WITHOUT ANY CLOTHING AND A WEDDING IN FOUR HOURS. I AM HESITANT ABOUT PURCHASING CLOTHING READING THE OTHER COMPLAINTS ON THIS SITE. WHAT SHALL I DO?? NEVER NEVER AIR FRANCE I AM ALSO CANCELLING MY THREE DAY TRIP TO PARIS....I HAVE HAD ENOUGH OF THE FRENCH HOSPITALITY.

Horrible lack of service! I wouldn't even dignify the contact by calling it customer service. Our 16 yr. old daughter is currently on a trip to France and Germany. Her bags have been lost for 4 days, AF has not helped us locate the bags, we have been hung up on, yelled at and ignored. We have called no less than 25 times to no avail.
WE WILL NEVER TRAVEL AIR FRANCE AGAIN!!

On a flight from Manchester to Paris connecting to Roma Italia my luggage got lost. Three weeks later i was phoned saying Air France were unable to locate my baggage and to compile a list of everything in luggage with prices and reciepts. I did this with the total amount coming to approx £8000 of which i could prove approx 80% of receipts. I got compensated £1200.
Can anyone advise me on what to do now because i have lost an aweful lot of money, valuables and more importantly alost was sentimental.
Should i take legal action?
