Your battery power blower and pressure washer really do stink
Customer Service Scoreboard
Very disappointed in the quality of a craftsman pressure washer. I used it once and it worked fine. Following that it has been one friggin headache after another. I bought it at Lowe's;after 30 days they wanted nothing to do with me. Lowes give me multiple wrong numbers for the craftsman warranty site and when I finally got a human on the phone they couldn't find a dealer that would service it. I called several dealers and they said they quit servicing Craftsman because they weren't getting paid on the warranty work. Needless to say this piece of junk won't start now. I will never buy another one.

I bought a Craftman b2000 blower from Lowes here in Pine Bluff 28 days ago now it won't crank so took it back to Lowes they said it didn't a warranty! So now I have a new blower that don't run!Is there anything that craftman can do to help me out? Look I'm on fox income and I can't afford to buy a new one.
I have a problem with ace hardware in pulaski ny the are not hiring your return policy.
I went to take back 1/4in rachets and they told me I can't because the model number is differant my rachets are older and the handle is differant but the size was the same they sent me away and I was not happy.i can't stress enough that they are doing a bad job with your tools what do I do then I am now stuck with 3 broken 1/4in rachets they need to be educated on the older tools that are the same size but some people still have older handle and shape and again they were the same size but because you change the shape the model number changes from old to new.
Bought a Craftsman WS4200 30 CC 4 cycle
Model # CMXGTAMDSS30 at Lowes December 2020. Broke the first time I used it 4/2021.
After longtime on phone was direct by craftsman where to get it fixed. $155.00 repair bill, Craftsman has not reimbursed the repair shop: I had to.
! week after I got it back, broke again.
No one to talk to in person and when you finally get someone you are given wrong information. Bought lawn morrow used it 2 times and 3rd time did not start. I had lawn morrow for 6 months, All the companies they gave we to be fixed by warranty does not accept warranty. This is to bad I am going to junk this lawn morrow and buy a different brand.
I recently bought a craftsman weedeater it has turned out to be the worst weedeater I have ever owned after first week the head came apart then the printer button messed up and it gets harder to start every time and I have only had it about two months very disappointed craftsman used to be descent tools but now its gone to crap
Just got off the phone with a Craftsman's supervisor "Phi" He was a total ass. So I got a new Craftsman's mower last September, only used it twice and it started smoking. I call about the warranty and 1st advised we don't have a lifetime warranty on anything, then referred to a shop in the city I live in. Well when I called the shop they say don't bring it here Craftsman's doesn't pay us. So I call useless "Phi" back and he suggest that I travel 45 mins to another city to have my new mower look at. I will never buy a Craftsman's product ever!!!
I bought a brand new craftsman cultivator from Lowe's and it was missing the clevis pin and cotter pin to attach the wheels to the cultivator, customer service was worthless. They redirected me to a 3rd party service rep email and phone, never heard back from them. Didn't want to play their stupid game so I ordered the part from a completely different site. Never buying craftsman again. They say lifetime warranty but fulfilling the warranty or getting your parts will cause unneeded stress.
I just purchased a new 21 Craftsman Riding lawn mower and am not to happy. I purchased this one to replace my 1980's model because the engine failed. I should have paid to have it fixed but figured I would go for a new one instead. The old mower was much more efficient and easier to operate that the new one and the plastic grass catcher system, which for some reason was attached by 30 pound of steel. Didn't make much sense to me and the fact that I have to disengaged the blades to back up requires me to spend a lot of time being unproductive. Finally when I bought the grass catcher attachment supposedly the blades were supposed be that came with it were mulching blades but in fact they were no different that the ones that came with the mower
I bought a Craftsman 24" snow blower with electric start. In 2 years I've only been able to get it started once. I've did everything, fuel filter, changed fuel, everything and won't run. Don't buy the snow blowers waste of time money. Max frustration for minimal use. POS!!!
i have a craftsman riding mower. in september 2020, the frame broke--both sides. mower is completely inoperable. 1st tech verified problem and ordered new frame to be installed by 2nd tech. 2nd tech says craftsman doesn't do this repair but a replacement mower will be provided even though my warranty had expired. three months, over 30 calls, and a lifetime on hold, still no word from craftsman. today i talked with two different local companies that carry craftsman and neither would get involved because of black & decker custom service practices. my next step is to contact ky & conn. AG.
In 2003 I had purchased a 19.2 cordless set (drill, light and screwdriver w/bag) from army px before deployment to Iraq my unit had boots on ground in march 2003 thru June 2004 . the drill performed great exceeding all expectations .building floors in tents /installing dunnage and bracing for equipment transport, and misc. ,seems as it was always being used by myself or being borrowed. The drill was through unimaginable temperatures ,our highest was 157, sand, weather and being through all that use and conditions already gained my respect and many others that had used it. We returned and I have used drill on many projects and continued use until about a year ago .I had sent a letter and the drill to craftsman corporate headquarters but never gotten a reply so I just thought as I'm sitting here thinking about it,I'd let you and others know of my story and how great of a tool you have made of quality ,performance, and dependability . thanks to all that read this and God bless
Craftsman Stopped making replacement parts for many of their tools. You can't get them anymore making the tool useless. We have a impact wrench that we could not get a part for and it threw the tools off while running. It was very unsafe. We got no satisfaction from craftsman replacement parts or from the warranty department. We will not be buying craftsman tools again after being lifetime users.
Loyal 50+ year Craftsman customer. I have a full roll-away cabinet of Craftsman hand and power tools. Yeah, I like to be uniform and not mix and match brands. Recently my tools with acetate handles began to smell like vomit, smells up my tool cabinet, my vehicle, my workshop. I cannot keep them indoors and it makes me feel unwell when I use them or near them (I'm not that sensitive). I tried cleaning them with baking soda and vinegar. No improvement. Left them outdoors for a week and only a slight improvement. Once put back in tool cabinet the smell permeated everything -even adjacent brand new tools!
I've tried to get resolution through the Craftsman support line but unfortunately, there is a small language gap with the Colombian based team (comprehension is the issue). And attempting to get resolution has become a nightmare as the for representatives I have talked to have offered 4 vastly different solution (none of which is satisfactory).
Description of defective damaged tools: 11 blade screwdrivers of varied size and length, 7 Phillips screwdrivers of varied sizes and length, 2 hand turn ¼" socket extensions, 2 specialty screwdrivers with retention grips, 8 standard hand turn nut drivers, 8 metric hand turn nut drivers. All look like they have never been used (besides some minor opaqueness on the handles) as I take care of my investments.
Day 1:
1st call, 1st rep, after a full explanation that these tools are not performing to expectations and are defective. This chemical reaction causing the stink should not be happening. I was offered a full replacement warranty of all 38 hand tools. I just needed to send pictures of the tools, which I did in a pdf file (3 pages), and the rep would send replacements. I MUST stress I was told I was receiving a total replacement of all suspect tools. I asked how I get the old tools to them and was told just discard the ones in question. Okay, good thing I didn't as you will read later....
Hours later I received an email stating they fulfilled ONLY a 14 mixed piece set to me. Support case #12586326. I was curious but it was late and could wait till the next day.
Day 2:
1st call, different rep, I called the support line and asked why the above shortage occurred. I was told they could only see a few images and not the whole 38 pieces so all they fulfilled was a mixed set (CMHT65045). I re-explained the situation and the rep told me I needed to submit support requests with smaller quantiles of items so they could efficiently handle the support case. So, I did just that and I received no follow-up email, so I was concerned something had gone awry.
2nd call, different rep, I inquired if all tools have been ordered. I was told they fulfilled a hand turn multi-bit set (CMHT68005)??? Okay this is totally wrong as I don't even have one of these and its not even close to a replacement for a professional tool. I told them to cancel that order and start over. I was again told they could not see all the images (odd for a pdf is a simple format and you see what is sent). So, I agreed to reformat the items on even smaller individual pdf file and resend.
I sent 3 smaller files thinking this would work. I received no follow-up email. I again called support.
3rd call, different rep, I'm getting tired of the run-around.... This rep told me they could only see 3 of the three as their "system" doesn't always allow them to see everything. What? And by the way they fulfilled another bit driver set to me (CMHT68003). What is going on???
Day 3:
I decided to try this. I send in 5 individual emails -as instructed, each with a small pdf file where I have separated each type of hand tool in their respective groups/classification (see tool description above).
Within 5 minutes I received an email for yet another different rep stating that none of these tools are covered by warranty. What? I immediately called support.
1st call, 1st rep, 45-minute conversation where I continuously asked for a supervisor and was placed on hold 4 times, I recited the warranty terms multiple times and that the tools are not performing to expectations and are defective. The rep finally informed me they would warranty all 38 tools, they would have to create 38 individual cases, and within 2 hours they would send me a confirmation email with the case #'s and item #'s they are shipping to me.
Day 4:
No email for support as promised. I again called support. New agent. I explained the situation. After several holds, a long discussion, I provided my mailing address for the 4th time.., I was told I would receive a mailing label where I needed to send all the tools in for inspection and that I MIGHT receive "comparable" tools in exchange. Okay this is new, and painful as it leaves me with no tools. Therefore I inquired as to:
1.What guarantee do I have that these tools will be replaced?
2.What guarantee to I have that I will not be without my trade tools for more than a week?
3.Why should I have confidence that an warranty process will be handled appropriately based upon my customer experience so far?
4.Why have I been offer 4 different solutions by 4 different reps?
5.Why were none of the solutions implemented appropriately?
6.And again, why should I have any confidence in the warranty process being handled appropriately and expeditiously?
7.And based upon this experience, why should I continue to be a loyal Craftsman customer
8.Finally, I am regretting recently purchasing 28 new individual Craftsman pliers as I am afraid I will have nightmares with them too.
I didn't get a good explanation and left that conversation feeling like the support personnel are doing everything they can to discourage me from making a warranty claim. This is one of the worst customer experiences I have ever had. And coming from a "service" industry this experience is well below industry standards or acceptability.
It would be nice if someone in Craftsman's Corporate Marketing or Customer Service would reach out to me to resolve the matter as i am not sure i am going to send my $500 worth of tools into a black hole.
I purchased a 298 piece craftsman tool set on 9-7-2019. I had problems with the 1/4" drive ratchet which got replaced. Now the 3/8" drive ratchet has problems. It doesn't tighten anything anymore. Its like the gears on the inside are stripped which I am a mechanic so I know what tools can handle what jobs.i called customer service regarding this issue. This time I called customer service. I stayed on hold for, as of right now it has been 2 hours. Someone does not do their job. They must still be sleeping. I have had a representative answer the phone then hang right back up again. That put me starting all over again.i have tried the option of someone calling me back without losing my place in line. I waited 5 days with no return phone call. And just think they offer a lifetime warranty on a lot of their mechanic tools. HaHa!!!!! What a joke!!!!!! Customer service here SUCKS!!!! After I get this ratchet replaced. If I have problems with any other tool fromthis set i will switch to a totally different brand of tool like MATCO or something like that.
We are proud to recognize the companies providing the best customer service each year within their industry.
