I've used craftsman products for over 50 years. Always satisfied with the warranty. Now I have bought 3 weed Wackers and every one has failed. Has a customer service rep tell me that would not warranty the damage because I told him the shaft separated when I hit an ant bed and hung up on me. I try to call customer service and they send you to a chat line.their products suck and their customer service sucks worse. I'll never buy anything from craftsman again. And they don't care

I purchased a craftsman 17.5hp riding tractor from Lowe's in July of 2022. Went to use tractor this year and I would not start. Engine turned over but wouldn't fire. Took tractor to craftsman authorized repairman who advised me the issue was not covered by craftsman. I contacted the craftsman warranty dept where I spoke with an arrogant and very belligerent individual. At the end of the mowing season I run my equipment until out of gas. I was told that it is my fault that the carburetor was bad and needed to be replaced at my expense. I have purchased and own several craftsman items, and considered myself a loyal customer until this recent issue. Poor customer service as far as I am concerned.

I have not received my merchandise that I paid for.

I ordered a raised planter for $49 and received two pairs of cheap gardening gloves. I've contacted customer service with no resolution. I still don't have my planter and I feel I've been scammed. They said I could keep the gloves and return 20% of my money. I'm angry and disappointed

I attempted to use the online chat to find a replacement part for my craftsman weed eater. The agent said that it was not his department and proceeded to send me to local repair shops. Hey idiot! I can replace the part myself since it is just out of the 1 year warranty, and I know you manufacture parts to fail just after the warranty. I will NEVER purchase craftsman products in the future since they don't actually provide service for their customers!!! You just lost generations of sales!

I am disappointed in the Craftsman tools it is no longer made in America and they seem to be getting worse every year but you still want to charge three to $400 for a set of tools that are mostly made in China that's not good and it's worthless

First they refuse to help me out with my Craftsman lawn mower now I need a quarter inch ratchet replaced and a torque wrench trying to get a hold of somebody for over 2 weeks New Year's Day I took back a Craftsman brand new garage door opener because motor was locked up

Craftsman product are terrible don't buy them. There customer service will have you waiting on the phone for hours just to get a robot. Also the factory warranty is worthless they don't stand behind their product and you can't get ahold of anyone to use the warranty. I bought a generator in march of 2022 by November of 2022 after only being used twice for several hours the product no longer works nor can I use the worthless 1 year factory warranty. I keep getting the run around just a terrible product and company all around the board

Wouldn't suggest craftsman 20v cordless drills, drivers, impacts, sawzalls or circular saws to anyone, had 8 bad batteries, and 6 different tools that died after light work. Contacted craftsman and was given run around, had to submit pictures, serial numbers, purchase dates, a bunch of stuff which I did, only to have them tell me they wouldn't cover them. Took it soon myself to disassemble them as by trade I am pretty mechanical. What I found was a bit dis concerning as most of the tools had worm gears made of plastic, so plastic against metal gears and splines, what do you think happened. Batteries we assembled with a light weight solder which when intermediately hot which all batteries get, the solder gives and battery shorts out main power to the boards which gives you your dead batteries. Motors not rated for power or torque, improper or lack of grease, sad really, they build them to fail that is obvious, consumer fraud at its best and with there false warranty promises and lack of any help, I went from owning every single craftsman tool and huge banks of batteries to having to switch them all to another brand which is ridiculous, hope no one else gets stolen from by these people.

I purchased a zero turn Craftsman lawn tractor along with a 3 year protection plan, both are an absolute joke, zero turn is the biggest pos and the protection plan even a bigger joke, been fighting for over a year to have the unit replaced after 7 appointments and no fix. Keep getting the run around from the protection plan, refuse to have their contractors out as their idea of a fix on a $3000 machine was bailing wire

I purchased a power washer 2 years ago and it has not worked correctly in months. It will not start and the pull cord to start the engine no longer engages. The worst part is I have not been able to speak to a live person to help. I used to think Craftsman was the best. That is no longer true. I have paid too much money for power equipment that does not perform or last.

Completely terrible!!! The products are junk!!! I will never buy another craftsman product as long as I live!!! Im a contractor and I'm 38 years old so I have the rest of my life to run you down to everyone I talk to and never waste another dime on craftsman!!!!!

Called Craftsman customer service (NOT) was waiting on hold over 20 minutes and then when the woman answered i explained i needed a new head for my 60VDC weed wacker and she ask me for the part/model number which i provided and she said just a minute and put me on hold and never returned after 30 minutes i gave up and that's their plan.
I then contacted them on line four days ago and still haven't heard a word. Buyer be ware never expect a warranty resolution with this company. They are flooding the market with their Chinese made products and won't stand behind the supposed warranty. I suggest buying from a reputable manufacturer as Craftsman has gone under right along with Sears

I paid $400 for a self propelled mower back in May of this year and I have been noticing that it has a very bad oil leak, I reach out to the customer service about this issue and also I paid $3500 for my garage apoxy floor and want Craftsman or MTD to pay for the rework that is needed on it and I will never buy anything else of there products.

Bought craftsman leaf blower 25cc 2cyc. Used only a few times and pull forever broke off. Took it to Lowes where I purchased it and wS told that it was past their 30 day return policy and would have to call craftsman service dept to get an R#. I called craftsman (waited on phone for over an hour) and they said that's not how it works. Was told I had to take it to an authorized/participating service repair to see if was repairable. If it was it would be repaired and they would submit a form to craftsman who would pay them and then call me to pick up. If not repairable they would indicate not repairable on form and I would be reimbursed. Craftsman gave me the names of two approved repair businesses. The 1st one I called was permanently closed. The 2nd one is several miles away. They told me they had only 1 person doing repairs and were backed up several weeks. NEVER AGAIN!

Trying to get a replacement ratchet wrench from craftsman to no avail. Everything is located in India. Useless

Bought Craftsman battery lawn care equipment, never again. There is no availability of parts in the major box stores where you sell besides consumables. As well the accessibility to replace any part is rediculous. I'll gladly pay more for equipment that actually can last and be serviced.

The call center 1-888 number is HORRIBLE. I spent 45 minutes on phone today with no resolution. The web site sucks as well. Can't talk to a live person. The product I have needs to be registered so the 3 year warantee will be active. BUT the problem is there is NO SERIAL NUMBER NO PRODUCT DATE only a model number. The call center will not register without these two items.
The store I purchased only covers 90 days then they said it was under manufacturer. Well there 's the problem I CSN NOT register without identifying numbers.

I purchased from Lowes #1022 Watertown NY, a $129.00 Craftsman weed-eater that was only used last summer. This summer it will not start and the pull string has no tension. Customer service told me they couldn't exchange it and I would have to go through Craftsman. Craftsman online info was submitted and no one ever contacted me. I called them a few days later and was told Craftsman was not responsible for this product and Craftsman referred me to MTD Products. The Craftsman name is literally on it. I called MTD who said the product was under warranty however it was up to me to take it to a repair shop to see if they would cover the warranty. My local repair shop takes weeks. I called Lowes back asking to please just exchange it to help me out ( my grass is 2 ft long at this point) only to be told by store manager "Jason" "sorry I wish there was something I could do to help you". Jason also told me I would have to bring it to my local repair shop. Jason there is something you could do.....exchange it. Help me get my grass whacked. This service experience is a 1 star for sure.

I have purchased 2 60 volt weed eater and 2 60 volt blower's in the past 2 to 3 years. They work good but the batteries don't last long. I contacted craftsman because I cannot find new batteries anywhere. 5 times I sent there customer service requests and they totally ig noted me. When I finally got a response they thought I was having a warranty issue and sent me a very long list of what I had to do. Up to and including my receipts of when I purchased them. I don't keep receipts that long and they made it clear I had to have them before they would talk to me. I told them I was just wanting to buy batteries and they finally replied that I would have to just check there distributors and find them. I explained that's why I contacted them because I couldn't find replacement batteries anywhere and I told them I had several hundreds of dollars invested. Received the same reply check with the distributors. I've since learned that the are very low quality products that they make and sell to customers at high quality prices. I would advise everyone that u do not want to buy anything with the craftsman name on it unless u have money to burn. I wouldn't give the a rating of 1. They don't care about the consumer. I grew up buying craftsman but never again. I'm looking at buying Sthil products from now on
