Have been a Dish customer for many years .Despite the crappy service. Constantly having to call because of some issue or another. In February my hard drive broke they sent a tech who told me he can take. It but we would be without tv for weeks due to the hacking problem they had.As he doesn't have a hard drive on his truck. Then why did they send you. Tried calling Dish with a 900 minute wait!!!!! So I got Direct tv.Tried to cxl my service but couldn't many times now they are billing me over $600 for months I didn't even have and a early termination fee!@! Criminals. When I call they say they can send a technician. It's mind boggling!!!!!

The worst customer service possible!
They scam you, lie to you, steal from you.
And when you get shold of someone after over an hour wait, irs some towellhead who doesnt understand english!

I have been a dish customers for 14 years and ever since dish got hacked back in February, I have had problems with my satellite, every day I have to turn my TV off to be able to get the volume to turn up on my TV. This morning it took Me 30 minutes to get my satellite to work, even my dish control would not work and my hopper shut down. And as far as the customer service you have to wait 35 to 45 minutes to talk to anyone I am about like all the other reviews I read people are sick of dish and are canceling whether they have a contract or not with dish, And dish doesn't try to make it right with there customers on refunds or anything and yes. Dish has gotten really pricey over the last 2 years, you should not have to pay for service you are not getting starting back in March. I'm going to give dish a little while longer but not much longer than I am going back to cox

I was under a 2 year contract with Dish I finally got out of it yesterday! It was always dropping my second tv. You will wait hours on the phone just to call anyone customer service is horrible! They are always losing channels so you are without so many channels you watch! Its excuse after excuse with them. I went back to Directv which is so much better. Never again!!!!!

Started to try to cancel service back on March 18th. Was told due to "problem" they couldn't. Tried again on the 22nd.. still couldn't. Called on the 27th. Successfully canceled with $149.46 refund. It was issued as a credit... on a closed account. Had to call on the 29th to request it be offered as a refund. Will be issued back to bank in 7 to 10 business days. Today is April 26th. Multiple phone calls later still no refund. Told to call my bank to see if it was something on their end. Called bank. Nothing there. Called Dish back. Their answer "let's give it one more day because it's been processed since the 29th and then we can escalate the issue". I've tried to be patient but it's wearing thin. Tomorrow I'm calling the main office in Englewood and see.where that gets me..... ??

Worst company I have ever had channel 2 has not been available for a very long time and we should not have to fulfill the 2 year term

I would never recommend Dish Network, I first called dish to switch to them on March 1rst and they set up an installation date and was told I would receive a $400.00 gift after I paid my first bill, then the day before installation dish called and told me there system was down and canceled my installation, finally 8 days later it was installed, I called on April 17th to ask why I hadn't received my $400 gift card just to be told I couldn't get it because I was never given a code, the supervisor in the gift card department was very rude and disrespectful, I think this gift card thing with dish network is a complete scam and should be legally checked into buy the better business bureau, I will always have nothing but negative things to say about Dish Network, Paul Anderson

Dish is a crooked company been trying to return my equipment since march been getting the run around tell me to call back now I been being bill for there stuff calling every day from march 1 moved to the cities it is April 21 still getting the run around talked to 3 ppl today an told I have to call back there system is down ask for a supervisor an got hung up on try calling corporate office can't get through to anyone what is the deal they like to steal from the disabled people don't know what to do need help

Waited for 5 hours for driver to show up to bury the cable in my yard ....he never showed but online it said he left hanger on the door and no one home !!!
That is such BS !!! There was someone there waiting for him for 5 hours plus I was on hold for 38 fricking minutes !!! Dish Customer Service sucks !!!!!!

Been trying for 2 weeks to get someone to help, after 20-30 minutes you'll get someone to answer the phone (usually in another Country) and all they do is tell you they'll transfer you to a customer service that never comes. Sometimes you get another person answer the phone, but they give you the same crap and that they'll transfer you to customer service, but I don't think they have a customer service, you'll never get one after 11 transfers, they eventually hang up and you start all over again.

Recently Dish Network had a HUGE service interruption which looks to be a ransomware attack. This lasted for over a month and customer service was down for 6 weeks. I finally reached customer service today and they offered me $5 for my inconvenience. Who knows what information of mine is now in some hackers hands.

I have been a Dish customer for 20 years and pay $170 per month and they offer me 5 bucks. I will be canceling my service when my current contract expires at the end of this month and urge anyone reading this to stay far away from this company.

Dish customer service is absurdly bad. You call the 800 number at any time or day and are told that they are experiencing unusually heavy call volume and your wait with be 40 + minutes. Just when Dish is supposed to pick up they drop your call. My issues is unauthorized billing on my account for Showime and Starz that were not requested. I plan to file a complaint with the FCC about this issue.

Called them at 0801 on a Monday morning to resolve a billing issue. Recording said they have "extremely high call volume, wait time is 20 minutes. Waited 30 minutes. Hard to believe that 1 minute after they open the phones on a Monday that they are somehow swamped. Pathetic service

Trying to get a holder of customer service is terrible 2 hrs on hold and they ask you to call back why is this happening you keep rasing the prices with less customer service your app does no work????

I have been a dish network customer for almost a decade. When I was getting ready to move I put my service on hold. When I moved into my new home I called to cancel dish because I can get all the streaming services for much cheaper. they told me that I had signed a 2 yr contract and they had me on record accepting it. i explained to them that I would of never knowingly re-upped my contract especially since i was getting ready to move and that the deal I would of gotten would be running while i was on hold. i explained everything to them and they didn't care. I even let them know that at the very least I was misled, but once again they said there was nothing they could do and charged me over $300 termination fee. i asked could they at least reduce it since it was obviously not what i wanted to do and have been a loyal customer for over 9 years. they couldn't do anything. i am done with dish network for life. i will never do business with this company again.

Customer Service. What Service? Waited over one hour for someone to come on Phone for pause issue. I couldn't come up with my security code so couldn't talk about my account even tho I had all the other account info. He was polite but said I must call back when I can come up with correct info or get in front of my TV to access the info I need. Can't be in front of my tv at this time. Nooooo, I have just waited one hour already! Not calling back!!! Unacceptable service!! I will be looking for a new provider!

Attempted to speak with a customer service rep. His name was Rick. The rudest most condescending person ever! When I asked if I could speak with another rep he refused stating he was the only person available. Then proceeded to hang up on me! I pay a lot for the service from dish and they are so rude! Time to look into a new subscriber.

In the last two weeks I had to call dish network three times to disconnect my dish since I was moving from the house. Every time it took me more that one and half hours to talk to a person and their response was due to problems with their internet network they cannot disconnect my service!!! If this is good customer service then yes dish is number one!!!

DISH sucks! Website down for a month. Can't access my free rental certificates. Website finally back up & my certificates are gone. Waited on hold over an hour for a rep that basically said there's nothing they can do right now, parts of the system are still down.
