Dear Madam/Sirs,

I am a BrewStation. I have concerns over my owner. You see he purchased me a while ago to brew his morning coffee. At first he bragged to family and friends about how much he loved me and my ability to brew his morning coffee and not deal with a breakable carrafe. He just loved the idea of putting his coffee under my dispensing port and getting hot cup of coffee. Lately there appears to be a problem which has trouble him. It seems like every other day the float device inside my water resevoir keeps popping out and not brewing the coffee. Naturally this is very frustrating to him. Is there some sort of recall we should know about. He is not his normal happy self when this happens. I sense he is on the verge of doing something drastic. I overheard him talking about replacing me with another unit and probably one from another manufacturer. Please respond to let me know what can be done. He really does like the concept of this unit.

Here is his contact info in the event that you wish to contact him.

I have had a problem with the electric Hamilton Beach Kettle, I sent e mails to customer service to Jessica G. and was not satisfied with the response, she asked my to pay for a replacement for a product that had failed.
I then asked for the e mail address of the CEO of the company but two of my e mails were ignored.

As a regular Hamilton Beach kitchen appliances, I wanted to let you know that one of your products is in desperate need of a recall. I purchased myself and my daughter-in-law each a HB slow cooker which has a model number ______. I bought them for a gift for me and a gift for my daughter in law. I haven't been doing all that well (I was in the hospital until Christmas Eve) so as a family we decided to postpone our gift exchange until January. My daughter in law forgot to take hers home the bl night we got together. Thank God for that small blessing. I decided to use mine to cook a Boston butt to take to my son's house. The slow cooker performed well but the rubber gadget provided for taking the pot with you, it stretches across the top and attaches to the handles was the problem. The directions said I could use it to keep the top in place or to transport. I attached the cross over rubber strap to the pot after it was turned off for 30 minutes.

My 9 yr old granddaughter had just left the kitchen and I needed to get things packed up, so as I was at my kitchen sink and all of a sudden, I heard this tremendous noise and the rubber strap had broken and went flying across my 12 ft wide kitchen and landed behind my stove. The force behind it was so tremendous that it could have burned anyone that got hit by it or at the very least put someone's eye out. I would definitely do a recall on this product immediately. I feel very blessed that none of us were hurt but I will continue to warn other's on the website if they intend to purchase this product. The top doesn't seem to fit snugly either. I am going to return the two I purchased but I pray the person who reads this email will send it to product development and immediately do a recall. You may be saving someone's life or eyes. It was that serious and the trajectory of it was unbelievable. Please take this seriously. Thank you,
Helen Swords, mother of three children and 5 grandkids and I would have been devastated had this rubber covered metal would have hit any of them. Thank God.

Purchased a Hamilton Beach 2-way Flex Brew Coffee Maker.
Less than 6 months ago. Single serve side quit brewing. Even after several attempts to clean the inside of the brewer with vinegar Pot side takes more than 7 minutes to brew 10 cups.
Water leaks out 20 - 30 minutes after it tries brewing and overflows the reservoir all over my counter. Hamilton Beach website not helpful for customer service contact. Unsafe that the pot side warmer get very hot while the single side brews. VERY DISAPPOINTED! Expected more from the brand name. Same thing happened to mine 3rd time returning Im DONE with HAMILTON BEACH!!

We own two Hamilton Beach coffee makers (carafe less). Both brew great coffee but the unit with the side reservoir dumps at least one cup of water per brewing over the top and into the two bottom spaces below the made coffee holder. We have tried changing the grind, changing the brew cycle and nothing helps. What should be done to correct this condition.

I bought a Hamilton Beach 1.1 cu ft microwave back in April of 2015. The other day it stopped heating. Very disappointed in this product. Will not be buying any Hamilton Beach product ever again.

We purchased a Hamilton Beach coffee maker with single serve and the single serve quit working. The store let us exchange since it was less than 30 days. Now the second coffee maker does not work on the single serve side, nor does the customer service number. We cannot return to store since it has been two months. Do not buy Hamilton Beach!

In 2011, I purchased a hand mixer at Walmart, and after about 10 months if use (but 3 years of ownership), it stopped working while I was using it. At the time, I assumed it was just an issue with the fact that it had been sitting in storage for over a year. In early 2015, I bought a new Hamilton Beach hand mixer that also came with the stand adapter. Not even a year later, and maybe used once a month, it stopped working - on Thanksgiving Day, of all days to quit. Hamilton Beach is only willing to replace it as long as I pay the shipping for the replacement mixer to be sent to me. Customer Service is not willing to cover the shipping expenses at all. Needless to say, I will never again buy Hamilton Beach.

I bought a Hamilton Beach Toaster at Walmart on Nov 6, 2015. I live in a remote area so minimum 3 hours to a Walmart Store if I have to return it. Went to plug it in and the cord is only 24" long and it comes out of the front of the "Keep Warm" MODEL:22811C which means, you either lose 10" running it UNDER the toaster or you face the lever and controls to the wall!! On Nov 7, 2015 I wrote their customer service department. I tried phoning, but got a message that said that particular day, they were having "phone problems", so to call back. I waited 4 days and then followed up by email again and got an answer - telling me to go to their .ca website and pick out a replacement model. I did that and sent all that off on Nov 11th. Then I waited until Nov 17th and asked "why no reply". Meantime I called their 800 customer service line in the U.S. and the lady who answered was helpful. She measured the cord on the display model she had and said it was 34" long. She had no idea why the one I bought was only 24". She said they probably would just ship me a replacement - that was their policy and that it would likely be on it's way already. I would be asked to disable the original toaster and send them a photo of it - no need to return it. Next day, I get a completely unacceptable answer from a different woman - via email - saying she had no idea why the cord was only 24" long, probably "canadian standards" and said to use an extension cord. Like how safe is that! No explanation for the cord being located in a place that would mean controls would face the wall. So I phone customer service 800# again and speak to a different lady, who actually opens a "case number" for me. She has me forward all my emails to and from over the past 2 weeks, attention Jordan (who is a manager) and to send a copy of my purchase receipt, which I do. That was on Nov 19th. I email again Nov 23rd having had not even the courtesy of a response, and ask that Jordan or someone at least acknowledge having received my information. Nothing. So on Nov 24th, I phone again and the 800# once again is "not in service because of phone problems". So I wrote again, and still have no reply. I tried calling on the 26th again and they were closed for Thanksgiving Holiday, which makes sense - at least the phone line was working. I don't know what to day - I've never experienced worse customer service than this overall. The ladies on the phone lines are pleasant enough when you can get through, but we are going on almost a month now since I bought this toaster. I haven't been able to have a piece of toast since November 7th - because they are stringing me along - not responding to emails, telling me one thing and then doing nothing. I'm now disgusted. I will never buy another Hamilton Beach product because of this dismal experience.

I used food process which really worked great. However I broke the bowl (base only) and ordered new one from their website. After paying $ 30 including shipping charges (for ($50 food processor), when the bowl arrived it did not fit the lid.

Every time I call them have to hold for 1/2 hour. On complaining about not fitting the bowl they made me ship it back at my own cost with a promise to send new one along with a lid. After spending almost as much as new machine I just inquired and they have not shipped the new one yet after 2 weeks on shipping back the one I received.

I wish I would have bought the new machine instead.

Horrible Horrible Horrible Customer Service! The supervisors Monica and Jose' did absolutely nothing to resolve my issue! The one customer service rep I spoke too had a snarky attitude. Hamilton Beach is a horrible a company and I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANOTHER PRODUCT FROM THIS BRAND. To even have the nerve to ask your consumers to go above and beyond and to replace one of YOUR malfunctioning products is completely ridiculous! I have never had this experience with any other company ever. Shame on you and your employees!

On hold for over 20 minutes and that sickening woman's voice repeating herself every 10 seconds caused me to kill myself. The worst customer service and the worst voice ever!

I had a Hamilton Beach Wave Master Blender for about 3 years when it stopped working -- there was a burning smell and the rubber "gasket" at the bottom of the blender had melted and disintegrated. Hamilton Beach replaced the blender for me, and I received the new one in April 2014. Now, 18 months later, the same problem has occurred. Interestingly I have a 40-year old Kenmore blender that I put away when I bought the original Hamilton Beach. I took the Kenmore out of storage and used in when I was waiting for my broken Hamilton Beach to be replaced. Now that my replacement has broken, I have pulled that old Kenmore out of storage again! I'm so happy that I kept it, and initially bought a new one only because my Kenmore was so old - I thought that I should upgrade. Little did I know that the quality of my old Kenmore far exceeded the new Hamilton Beach Blenders. In addition, I have always found the Hamilton Beach Blender to be extremely loud, where my old Kenmore is much quieter. I use the blender every morning to make a smoothie. I won't ask that my Hamilton Beach blender be replaced this time -- I'll continue to use my old "tried and true", and if that should die at some point, I'll definitely replace it with another Kenmore.

I got a Hamilton Beach Hand Mixer model 97G, harvest gold from Winn Dixie in Louisville, Ky
on March 12, 1979. The mixer stopped working on September 5, 2015. It is unfortunate quality products like this are no longer being made. Just wanted to thank the company for almost 36 years operating this mixer.
