While coming to return a package at customer service today they had three workers no one was behind me and I got ugly looks and no one wanted to help me but soon as a white customer walked up they rushed to help them so I asked to speak with a manager after my horrible experience so Ms. Leslie the manager made excuses for the workers and was very dismissive so it was pointless talking to her I'm leaving this review hoping something will get done because I don't want anyone else to experience this.

I used curbside pickup yesterday. No one ever came out. I called and no one answered. I had to go in to get my order after I waited 20 minutes.

If I could give NO STARS, I would. Do NOT shop online at Macys. I placed an order online and - as soon as it showed me my order summary - I realized it had charged me for TWO of the same item. There is an option to immediately cancel the order - so that's what I did. I then placed a new order with the correct number of items. Here is where it gets sticky. Macys pulled the money for both the cancelled order and the correct order from my bank account. It has now been OVER A WEEK and the money has still not been refunded. I have called them several times to ask why they were so quick to pull the money out ($137.00) but can't seem to get it back to me on an order that is clearly cancelled. I have spoken to my bank as well and they have no power to do anything about it until Macys decides to refund my money. They gave me a time frame of 10 business days. It has been 8...

Additionally, their customer service department is a little bit rude. I did my best to be positive and upbeat - even though I was upset about the situation. I will not be placing any more orders with Macys...my advice is to be very, very careful.

I went to customer service desk today, stood in line and when I was next, the rep just stared at me, until I had to ask for her help. She stared at me and motioned to come to the desk. Not one more word. I said that I was returning an order, still stares from her. I said, where did you want me to put the returned item? She pointed at the desk and tapped the counter. She took the return and refunded my Macy's charge. No thank you, no nothing. This happened at 5:00 pm at Macy in Southland, Taylor MI STORE.

1. Horrible phone system. The automated system repeats itself and keeps sending you to the wrong dept.
2. You ask to be transferred n they send you to the survey line. Which i had no choice to give it a negative rating. Been on the phone for over 1 hr, it seems there is no one in the united states that can offer customer service.
I need to understand why macys sent my package to the wrong address. I dont understand why macys that makes a ton of money. Needs to outsource outside the usa. No one can ever understand or resolve the problem. I have had other issues in the past. But this one is causing me to pull my hair. Im going on my 6th call. I believe tjis is why macys keeps closing their stores. this is what happens with greedy people. U want to cut costs by outsorcing. The customer service is the worst of the worst. HIRE PROPLE IN THE UNITED STATES!

To Whom It May Concern
Today I talked to a customer representative and a supervisor who didn't care to acknowledge my concerns
regarding my credit card . I honestly did not receive my statement and wasn't aware I was late . With the storms
Occurring packages are late and sometimes our mails are delivered to the wrong house. I felt he was being rude and I ignored the facts regarding my concerns about scam calls relating to Macy s . This is upsetting . Also I have made changes on the store regarding my phone number just to find out today that it was never changed .I m probably going to close my Macy s account .

Horrible phone system and NO customer service
No person answers the phone. Recorded messages just say "invalid extension", even though THEY connected the call. This beautiful comforter (California King) is NOT California King. It barely covers the mattress. Can't reach returns department. The on line customer service message makes you pay to return this item which was "not as described. Wouldn't a chain department store want their phone systems to work?? I tried for 2 days; then called corporate offices in New York, and finally reached a live person. I told her that I cradled the phone in my neck and gave myself a full manicure and blew it dry during the hold time. No one ever answered. I finally hung up. If I could award minus 10 stars that is what I would do. I only awarded on so that I could write this review. Unbelievable! This site won't let me upload pictures

I bought a pair of boots from Macy's on line in November. They came in a timely manner. They were not the boots I ordered, not even close! I sent them back. They sent me an email stating they received my boots and a refund will occur in 3-5 days. I sent 6 emails. All of which were ignored. I called waited 23 minutes on hold to speak to Ariel who assured me I would recieve an email and my $$$ shortly after. Still nothing. So I called again today and talked to Angel who again assured me that a refund would come right after the email confirmation. She could not give me a confirmation # or anything to appease me. So the run around continues.

The employees and mangers when calling customer service 1-800 number are are garbage as hell. Issues goes unresolved, they hung up on ever time and never once give you a return call. Been dealing with Macy's for 22 years, with no issues. It has always been my favorite store but after today, it's definitely at the bottom of my list.

Absolutely terrible customer service. There isn't any. The store cancelled my order, part of which was placed with a gift card which was to be refunded and mailed to me. It's been over 3 weeks and I've yet to receive it. The customer service phone line hangs up automatically on me, and there is no online chat, nor is there a way to email customer service about a problem. Going to cancel my cards and quit shopping at Macy's. another negative is that the store here in Colorado Springs is lacking merchandise and keeps the lights dim. Awful

I have been waiting for a credit from Macys of $101 and a replacement credit card since June 2022 there was fraudulent charges on my account in June and I called that month I physically went to the store and spent two hours trying to fix this!! I was assured at the time that they would send my credit of $100 out and my replacement card at that time. I never received either and since then I have called 12 more times and visited the store three times each time they've told me I will receive my new card in 7 to 10 days I still have not received it! I finally got the credit in the mail on December 12 but no card when I called today they said all credit cards are delayed!! IT HAS BEEN 6 MONTHS!! THIS IS THE WORST COMPANY TO DEAL WITH!!

I called Customer Service a few minutes ago. I explained that I am a Macy Credit card customer, that I could not sign into my account on the Macy's app; the system rejected my password, which is my Password. The two agents to whom I tried to explain this problem did not understand at all and kept asking me the same questions over again. I became so frustrated that I hung up. I tried to call again to ask for a different department and I can't get through. Carmen Neilson, Customer for at least the past 50 years when it was named Liberty House in Honolulu.

I have 20.00 of Macys money that I am not able to use. I called customer service and was not helped. I have my order done and ready to submit but was told I had to order through the rep in the phone. I am a customer that will not be shopping at Macys any more. I shopped and was told that I could redeem my cash online or in person but that is not the case. The way this cash is handled is very difficult, Kohl's cash is so easy to use whenever or however you want...so I guess I will be shopping there. It is sad that you guys can not honor what you say...

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! NEVER AGAIN WILL I BE PURCHASING FROM MACYS! I ordered a gift for my Father to give to my Mother for Christmas. Ordered on 12/12 and it was supposed to arrive to my home by 12/16. I kept looking at the UPS tracking info provided and it always said the same information "in transit". After the same message for a few days, I called UPS. They said it was LOST and that Macys would have to file a claim with UPS. The person (who barely spoke English and hard to understand) told me that they would ship out another package right away and that I would use my original order #. I asked for NEW tracking information at this point and she said I wouldn't need it because my new package was being sent overnight and it would arrive within 1-3 business days. This of course made me nervous, so I called back to get tracking "just in case I needed it" and now my package has been LOST again! This is crazy. I am trying to cancel at this point and I am even having a hard time getting this accomplished as I have been on the phone for over 30 minutes with them at this point while I type this review. I try to spread the love because if you don't the Amazons of the world will take over, however, AMAZON (hands down) has got the customer service thing down to a T. **BUYER BEWARE, DON'T SHOP ON LINE AT MACYS**

I was recently in Macys in Chandler Arizona. Looks like you have turned half the store into a discount center. There are clothes all over the floor, and the racks are jammed so tight you can't even pull out a hanger. No organization at all. I wanted a pair of shorts but couldn't see through the mess. I am so disappointed as Macys used to be my favorite store. Walmart is cleaner than your store, and better organized.

This will be my last year buying Christmas gifts from Macys. I ordered an item over 10 days ago and it still has not been shipped. When I track my package, it says that a label has been created but that's all. In addition, Macy's has already charged my credit card. When I call to talk with a customer service rep, they are all foreign and it is very difficult to communicate with them. Customer Service starts with proper communication and Macys does not care about their customers at all!!

I placed an order on November 29th. Now, less than a week before Christmas, a label has been created but UPS has not received the item. I have contacted customer service multiple times through email, through chat, and now on phone. They keep telling me to wait 5 more days -- but of course, at this point, that will be too late for it to arrive in time for Christmas. When I asked to speak to a manager, they put me on hold over 10 minuts and then hung up on me. I will never shop for Christmas Gifts from Macy's again.

I ordered a perfume for my daughter online as a birthday gift. The order was received, however, after several days I got an email that it was sold out. OK. I made another order - this time it wen through, or so I thought. When the package was opened, instead of the perfume there was a lip gloss made by a different designer. Macy's refused to give my money back, because "the package had been delivered". After sending them proofs (photocopies of receipts etc.) they finally agreed to give the money back, but wanted to return the perfume my girl never got in the first place! I called and emailed again, and, this time, they seemed to got it and want the lip gloss returned. So, instead of enjoying her gift, my precious girl has to find a store or print label and return something I or she never wanted. Nice. Never again anything from Macy's!

I traveled to Macy's on December 10th to do Christmas shopping. There isn't a Macy's close so I traveled and dealt with a lot of traffic because I had coupons to use. I did my shopping and when I tried to use any of my coupon I was told they were not taking any coupons because they were having a sale. The only reason I went there was to use my coupons. Every store has a sale at Christmas but never did any store refuse ALL coupons

I applied for a macy's credit card so I could get 20 percent off on some things that were on sale. It said you could get discount today and tomorrow but I could not find out how to get account #. Needless to say the day after I still have no way of getting account # and the items are no longer at the same sales price. I tried calling and the chat line with no results. I called the next day and talked to a foreigner that I could kind of understand, but he was of no help. So I now deeply regret opening an account with them. I will be shopping elsewhere!
