Stop mixing men and women's shoes and clothing. The whole social engineering experiment that you're doing is a disaster and it is also ruining the shopping experience. Men are men and women are women. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out what has been most obvious for millenia up until this "most enlightened period". Don't get offended by this. Just embrace the reality that there is a glorious difference between men and women that should be celebrated by both men and women rather than confused.

Anybody else notice that Meijer online shopping doesn't balance out with what they charger your bank account? The past four times I've shopped there I've been charged more than my total owed. The first time I called and they gave me a credit this time I called the customer service agent says he did the math and that's what I owed. I responded can you give me a detailed receipt he said they email you one I went over the emailed receipt and showed him where it was different and he says my receipt shows something different. I asked how do I get a hold of that receipt he did not have an answer. I have looked both in the app I have deleted the app and looked online which had less information than the app did. How can you not have a detailed receipt I can't be the only one who checks the receipt. I'm the type of person who counts my money from an ATM. I do not know what's going on with Meijer and their online orders why they cannot give you detailed receipt I just want everybody to be aware I'm no longer going to shop online and I don't want people to be getting ripped off please stay vigilant.

I am writing this to express how unpleasant my Meijer visit today (3/11/22) at the Grand Chute, WI location was. I went in with a family member who receives WIC benefits to return some Similac formula that currently has a recall on it. I was informed by WIC to take the recalled formula to wherever I got them in exchange for a different brand.
As my family member and I approached the costumer service desk to return the formula, the lady at the desk seemed immediately annoyed that we were returning formula and said that's something we cannot return. I informed her that that brand of formula has a recall on it and we were told by WIC that we could return it for a different brand. She asked if we have a receipt, or mperks, or credit card that it was bought on. I said no, it was bought through WIC benefits. She then asked for the WIC card and we gave it to her. She called someone and asked if it could be returned and then proceeded to take the cans of formula we had. First of all, for someone working the service desk that processes returns, how are you unaware of a product that has a recall on it? Second of all, her demeanor and tone she had with us was unpleasant and rude the whole time. I never felt more distraught, embarrassed, and discriminated upon than that experience. Discriminated against because of being a WIC user AND for being Asian and speaking on behalf of my family member whom I was with trying to help return the formula for.
The customer service lady kept asking why we had "so much formula". Well maybe because we have a baby and this is their #1 source of food. She also asked who I was returning it for and I said "her" as I pointed to my family member who was standing right next to me. The customer service lady proceeded to say "who's her?" And I said her name. The lady said, "is she even here? Is this even your WIC card?" And I said yes, "she's right here next to me. It's her card". It was so uncomfortable and unbearable that my family member even spoke up and said, "I'm here". She glanced at my family member who was clearly standing right next to me and didn't say anything to her. The customer service lady called someone else to come help her and we were able to get the formula exchanged and store credit for what was leftover, but did it really have to be that hard? My only intention was to try to simply exchange formula that is safe for a baby. I was not trying to cheat the system, get more money, or anything like that.
Who does that? Who treats people like that? That is not okay to treat ANYONE like this. Please do better Meijer! I never want to experience this kind of racism and discrimination again. I do not wish this on anyone and hope she does not treat anyone else like this!

I ordered a vacuum for pickup at a sale price of $184. Upon picking it up the pickup text showed I was charged $301! I called into the store and they told me to call their customer service number and they would give me a credit. After sitting in the parking lot on a cold night on hold and talking to someone for 25 minutes, I was told they would not credit me because the price had gone up since I ordered it. I have ordered from many placed for shipping and pickup and never had this happen. I have always paid the price of the day I ordered. This is absolutely ridiculous. I live an hour away from Meijer which is why I didn't pick it up the same day but I had no idea they were going to do this to me. I lugged the thing into the store for return and the clerk actually shorted me $.77 because that's what the computer showed her. I showed her the confirmation on my phone of what they charged me and the manager told her to give me the $.77. Normally, I would have just walked away but first they tried to rip me off with the price and again with the return. I will NEVER shop at Meijer in store in online again.

I just have to finally ask, why do you habe greeters? Id rather you not because I rarely, if any, get greeted. I live 2 mins away so its convenient for ke to go there. Usually in late evenings. Tonigjt I just can't take it. The same greeter who is a very large African American older man, NEVER acknowledges me. Hes not busy, we make eye contact, I even grab carts right next to him and he has NEVER once said hello or goodbye to me. On top of this tonight, I always do self check out. The Caucasian lady with an arm brace acts like everyone who needs help is bothering her. I'm literally right next to her counter and shes mumblimg after helping another customer. As I walk right past her to leave, no goodby, thank you, anything. So many times ,I know I go late but maybe the stockers should acknowledge there are still customers shopping and shouldnt block aisles so we could shop, or at least try to move. But no, they act like we're not there. I just don't underatand why the CS is so bad there? Please have a meeting and address these issues soon bevause it has been going on way too long. I just couldnt take it any longer.

I shop at the Greenville,MI location.
The doughnuts used to be so good that several of my employees including myself used to buy a large amount weekly, but now we've started buying them elsewhere because they just don't taste as good. I sure wish you'd undue whatever changes you've made.

Meijer stores were in trouble before covid and supply chain problems. I seen the progression of their employee issues. They thought they would never run out the job pool. So they never worried about how they treated their employees. They had many good ones who came and went. But nothing was done to correct this poor management and loss of quality help. Now their on the back like Wal-Mart with inept employees and not many of them stay. The problem goes to the top.

Your new store checkout lines are a disaster. Everyone gets routed to self-serve with either one item or a hundred. The one item person's waiting behind the 100 person and it takes forever the lines just back up. Previously you could get right in and out now it's a nightmare! You need a line for five items or less and lines for people that are buying a week's worth of groceries. If it isn't fixed I'm not coming back it's it's too stressful

Linda at Meijer Standale bakery is very rude. I get these customized cakes every month for my son and this time she was yelling and mad and was saying be happy for what you get. Looks like she is pissed of for getting customized cakes every month. Very rude and bad behavior with customers.

My Mchenry, IL Meijer has terrible customer service. I went to purchase their holiday items on special with the Mperks. However, for two days I attempted to get my offers? No they weren't given. True waste of time. Not to mention customer service was unable to help. Called Corporate and they refunded the 5.00 difference to my mperks. Really? A whole 5 bucks? Wow? Two days driving to attempt three items. No we're sorry for your inconvenience gift card. Wow? Time to fire Meijer. Moved on to Walmart.

Purchased some lightbulbs that didn't fit in my recess light fixtures. Put them in my garage and forgot about them. I finally remembered and take them back to return. We tried looking it up with my card. I never save receipts since they can always look it up. Well it had been too long. So they couldn't find it. I said I would take store credit as I was going in to shop anyways. Well they wouldn't give me store credit because the max is $15 and these bulbs were $18 each. Pretty sure I paid more than that to begin with. These are brand new never used bulbs. I don't understand the issue. So needless to say I left and went to a different store to shop. I guess Meijer doesn't get my money anymore.

The store on South Pennsylvania avenue on the southside of Lansing is disgusting and in the last 18 months they have had Shelves with products gone, the ice cream case is three-quarters empty and that has been the whole 18 months, butter, biscuits, bagels, cream cheese Frozen foods some practically empty yet when you go to the East Lansing store or bath or okemos or Grand ledge everything's pretty much fully stocked in those stores so is this a managerial problem or does this have something to do with the class of people who shop there....because they want to use the excuse that it's a supply chain issue but yet all the other stores have ice cream cases fully stocked they aren't out of ground beef like they are on Pennsylvania. There's no excuse for this even aside from the empty shelves the floor is disgustingly dirty, it's a perpetual mess and has been for years. I was in there Sunday and it looked like a tornado tore through and there's rarely any employees ever in the back. Tonight there was one that was putting away fresh pasta in a little refrigerated spot for fresh pasta and I asked her if there was any pie crust left because I didn't see any anywhere, she turned around and snipped at me and said no we're out and I said to her you have an overload of pumpkin but no pie crusts and she said we have a supply chain issue abruptly, I said well East Lansing doesn't have a problem with their store being stocked and she told me well go to East Lansing and shop then. I wasn't rude to her but she was rude to me. All around I would rate this store as failed or F or whatever you would give a store that's completely going down the tubes. I have lived on this side of town my whole life and it's never been as bad as it is now even although it has been bad for a very long time. I talked to a store manager a couple of years ago and made a complaint to him but it went nowhere so they need to get some new management in there and they need to get a new marketing director in there because neither one of them are doing their job. And their employees need to be better trained to say I'm sorry ma'am for not having pie crusts don't make any excuses and that's all they have to say. But you certainly don't say to a customer go shop another store. Because if I shop in another store won't be Meijer. I was a shipt shopper for a while and I can tell you that all of these other stores are very well maintained their clean they make the produce so inviting because it's right by the door that you end up buying more food than what you wanted because it looks so good and that includes bath okemos East Lansing Grand ledge and Mason, clearly the employees and managers of this store do not care about their store. It is totally unacceptable.

I walked over to electronics with my son and asked to see if they had any video games system and she literally ignored me and rolled her eyes and shook her head no! Only to find out they did have several video game consoles

Bought a scooter at one meijer and brought it to another meijer to return it (was too small). Was told I could only return it at the meijer I bought it from. I have never had that happen from any meijer stores and don't see anywhere that you have to bring things back to the store you bought from. How inconvenient that I now have to drive to the other side of town to make a return. I had intended to try to find a different scooter but will now just go elsewhere because of the inconvenience.

It's really too bad your online order is so difficult, you would have gotten all of my on line orders.

I bought two pairs of Dickies work pants, because fitting rooms are not open I wasn't able to try on. Got home and they didn't fit so I exchanged for a different size. Brought those hoe, they didn't fit either. Later that same day I brought back the pants with the receipt and was told my refund wouldn't be put back on my credit card but i would get 1/2 in cash and 1/2 on a store credit card. This isn't right, I had the receipt and the return happened within 24 hours. I'm calling the store tomorrow to complain to manager. The return policy is 90 day full refund with receipt. They are not abiding by their own policies

I want meijer in Greenville Michigan to know how outstanding one of their employees is!
Steph C who works in the deli is such a kind and pleasant person to deal with!I I enjoy her positive attitude and sense of humor!
To bad she couldn't pass that onto the female employee who works in the meat department. She could definitely use some pointers on how to interact with customers. I've had two very unpleasant encounters with her! Will not use the meat counter again or ask for anything, if she is the one I have to deal with!

On Tuesday we went to the Meijers store in Danville in response to your ad for 80% lean ground beef. You only had it in very large tubes. I asked one of the meat department people and he told me they could not grind because of a boil order. Perfectly good reason. On Wednesday my daughter went to the Meijers store and wss told they would start grinding at 10:00 am Thursday. I went to Meijers today, Thursday, at 12:15 pm and was told they did not have any because the truck did not come in. Also, that they had ordered 31 cases for Friday's truck. What a totally unacceptable bunch of B.S.. I will not make a fourth trip up there. It will cost me a buck a pound more at the local County Market but that is where I am headed.

I tried ordering an item as a gift. The first time I ordered the item for pickup and was told at the last minute the item was not in stock. The second time I ordered the item from a different store and asked for delivery. The order again was canceled. The third time was I called customer service and the agent was kind enough to call a few stores and was able to find the item. We both spoke with the representative who assured us the item was there only to later be told it was not available. I don't know if the issue was with meijer or Shipt the 3rd party they use, but when I called the fourth time I got a rude representative who clearly could care less about what happened. I do most of my shopping online and this was by far the worst experience I've ever had. I will never do business with them again.

I notice a lack of outdoor setting areas in front of all stores and I question as to why, you have those whom are handicap or senior citizens waiting to be picked up in front of the store, but no place to sit, my concern as to why.
