I agree with everyone on here. Dont buy from Michael's. You only have 5-15 minutes to cancel an order even if you didn't do it. And then when you inquire about when the order should be shipped out after the label was made over a day ago they keep repeating themselves of its 1-3 days for processing and 4-6 days for it to be delivered to you. I told them it had been 3 business days since I ordered it and they then wanted my order number (which why they didn't ask for this to begin with is beyond me) and then still come back with it will ship out soon. Soon could be days from now I need you to know whether or not it's shipping today or tomorrow. It's pointless to even deal with customer service. They all
Have their heads in their hind ends over there and think a justified answer is it will ship out soon or giving you the same details about their processing and shipping procedure. Then moving onto asking whether or not you needed help with anything else as to get you off the subject your on. Praying this ships out today and all goes smoothly from here and I won't ever order anything from them again.
Terrible service! They would not do a refund and I had a receipt and it was purchased within 8 hours only. They kept telling me to refuse the package when it arrives to my place...like what?! Who does that kind of service...yes, only Michael's!
And really, it should be refunded if you call right away BEFORE it even gets shipped. My reasons that I couldn't cancel it earlier was because this purchase was made in the evening. Unfortunately, I pressed one item by mistake on shipping and the rest was done by curb pickup. When I realized that I didn't select curb pick up on that one item ...it was to late they said and would not help me. My tracking number was showing that it wasn't even being in process of getting picked...how is it to late. They completely refused to cancel it. I got charged more on it because they did not include sale price and extra cost for shipping. I am so mad!!!!
They do not know how to run online business. I have worked with Amazon and other retailers in the past....and Michael's is very inexperienced when it comes to online service. Poor customer service as well! When you call there, they have no idea what to do or say...they will constantly put you on hold and nothing gets done. It's like they never know what to do and need to check. Very poorly trained people. Please save your money and if you need to order on line SHOP SOMEWHERE ELSE. I'll be calling better business bureau as well.
DO NOT BUY ANYTHING ON LINE FROM THEM because if you ever need to exchange or refund it will be impossible!!!
Last two times I visited and purchased multiple items, I did not have any coupons On app so asked for a senior discount. (This senior needs to watch all pennies now a days) I was told they do not do that anymore and suggested they suggested they were not involved in the decision. JoAnns and Hobby Lobby do and great coupons, they appreciate their seniors!

I placed an order online for Halloween items. When I open the box that was delivered, there was only one item that I didn't even ordered and it had a slip showing multiple items were delivered. I called customer service and I was told they could send me a replacement however it would take up 9 days. I opted for getting a refund since it would take too long. I received part of my refund and I'm still emailing customer service for the remaining refund. I have never had so many problems with a delivery.
I'm very unhappy about the two 1 qt bottles of Artist's Loft Flow Acrylic white I bought. The consistency is chunky and ruined my painting. According to the site opened items cannot be returned. I tried to use the chat feature for some sort of satisfaction on this but there is none to be had. I have to eat the cost of the opened item and buy from my local art store. Chain stores are the worst.
Seriously, how do I know an item is defective before opening it? I can't. So now I've wasted money, supplies, other paints and a canvas on a lumpy chunky painting I can't use or sell.
I can't get a refund for opened products even if they were defective? Okay, Michaels, we're breaking up.
Also, bonus, if you can't find your receipt and you bought in person they cannot find your receipt using your Michaels card so you will only get a refund based on the lowest price they sold the item at for the past 3 months. THREE MONTHS? So that means you get sale price refund even if you paid full price. Their policy sucks. So does their customer service. Thanks John M. You didn't help at all.

I placed a $42 online order with Michaels for store pickup using PayPal. Big mistake! They authorized the charge for $42 (locking in that amount on my card) then CANCELLED THE ORDER because even though the website said that location had the thing I ordered, they didn't. We had to call around to three more stores before we found one that actually in stock what the website said they had. So we placed the order, paid for it, picked it up. Only the original authorization amount is still blocked on my PayPal account. Now get this - Michaels says it can take "up to 30 days" for this pending authorization to be removed, and if you have any questions, "see your debit card provider." What a ridiculous way to do business. Never again!
Micheals is a scam on returns. Bought a Cricut explore air 2 one day later the machine does not work a red light appears abd can not connect to Bluetooth basically its stuck. Tried to return it , now til me because I opened it I cannot return not exchange it. I told her where does it state that it wasn't in the receipt , I was not told that by the cashier when I purchase it, she said it's their policy . I said I'm not upset about the policy I'm upset that I was aware I am not able to get a refund a customer should be explained that certain items cannot be returned. Have it posted next to the items or have the cashier let you know . That way the customer is aware of it abd it's up to the customer to either buy it or not. I was on fire but still respectful either way I will never shop at Micheals again. If they keep this up they will go out if business abd well deserved in my opinion. Bad business practices
Michaels will take your order for items not available in store... so you add a few other things since they will be delivering anyway... then they cancel the clearance stuff, send the other items ( now the $7 shipping matters because those things were available in the local store)
To top it off- the invoice in the package you get doesn't tell you the rest was cancelled!! You are stuck paying for delivery you didn't need- and without the stuff you really wanted.
No recourse/- no refund of shipping. No rain check on clearance stuff or a replacement. Just seems like you should Take the order if you can't Fill the order- but the hold the Customer Accountable- BUT NOT YOURSELF!
Wont give my many hundreds of dollars a year to Michaels anymore- I was disrespected by their process and a unconcerned customer service. DONE!!

I purchased a cricut explore air 2 last month and yesterday I was ready to get started and noticed that they sold me a used item which I paid for in full price. I am disappointed and called Michaels spoke with an associate and told her the issue and wanted to exchange it she said that they don't do exchanges or refunds and to contact cricut directly. I was never told about this store policy and I am furious that I paid for an item which was already used and missing parts .
I recently contacted your support center duty to a wrong advertised price on the web. One support person told me it would be honored and after waiting over an hour on hold your other support person was very rude and said somehow you cannot honor a wrong advertised price on the web because you dont control what the web price is advertised. Don't you pay people to put these prices on the web to draw customers to your site. Again this week the brother scan and cut is being advertised as on sale. But when you try to put the cupon on it that says on the web that it is for it. It will not allow you to do so. Last week it said it was 50 percent off this week it says 30 percent off with the exact codes that are on your site. I have all the pictures of the codes and the misleading information.
I went to Michael's on June 25, 2020 in Waynesboro, VA. The employee who rang up my items was one of the rudest customer service reps/employees I had ever encountered either in Michael's or anywhere else. He didn't greet me, was very curt and coarse in his manner, barked orders at me, and dropped/threw my items into the bag. I'm fortunate I didn't buy anything breakable. He acted as though I was daring to put him out just by wanting to buy a few items in the store. I will likely never go into Michael's again after that as he such a bad representative of the organization.
I went into to eastside Micheals in Lansing Michigan. I cannot wear a mask but have paperwork to prove why i cannot and also that i have been tested. Well we didn't get that far. We walked in and across and then all of a sudden this very large and tall woman was yelling from the registers and started barreling towards us. Yelling we cannot enter without masks. She was aggressive in her manners and said she was authorized to do so as it was micheals who told her protocol on non mask wearers. I again tried to explain and she cut me off said what do you want. I said i needed glycerine/goat soap. She went back in a fury came back said they had none and that we had to get out. I said it was a medical reason we couldn't wear mask due to accident and the co2 affecting us. She said micheals doesn't care we have rules if you can't follow them you can't come in. She didn't have to do this or handle it this way. I am 5 even a big lady barreling and with that aggressive bravado as if i was stealing and she had to catch me. It was incredibly embarrassing as everyone was staring. I will never return to micheals. I had a friend that had went into tjmaxx while we visited micheals. When she returned to car i explained what happened as I was visibly upset. She went in with a mask and there was the soap i had wanted to purchase. Why would Micheals give such authority to a manager. You should have some system in place for such cases. If I wear a mask even be it minimal i will become very ill. I had no problems in other stores and not one became aggressive to me the customer. Yes i was asked and treated politely and allowed to shop without having to see my documents. Even though I have them available. This was such a traumatic experience. I hope you train them given circumstances. I did try to call and ask for her name she hung up on me. She would not give it in store. Please look into it further. I'm most assured you can find the video from store.
I have some feedback for you regarding your store in Escondido California. I was in the store at around 11 o'clock Wednesday, June 10.
I was looking for a shadowbox frame for some sports memorabilia I have. I walk to the back where the frames are Musta looked for about 10 minutes. I noticed there was an employee behind the counter, I asked her excuse me I have a quick question for you to which she replied hold on I'm not clocked in yet. She laughed away and after she clocked in Responded with what can I help you with. I asked her a very simple question to which she gave me way too long of an answer. After I confirmed what I originally thought by no help of her answer I didn't get a chance to say thanks Before she walked away to disappear. This woman's name is Dallas. After I picked a frame I must've spent another 10 minutes looking around before I headed to the front and ones in line I see her finally come out from the depths of the stock room. She almost seem to avoid me at the cashiers check out as she was also a cashier. I don't quite understand how you cannot help somebody for 10 seconds Before You clock in. I don't know maybe I'm over exaggerating but that's in my opinion terrible customer service and I never leave feedback like this or take time out of my day to complain.
Hi I recently purchase a circuit explore air 2 from you guy. Within the same night bout 40 mins later it said my order was cancelled with no explanation. Now I'm looking for my refund. That's was a $200 plus order I need that money back immediately. The email never said my money would be refunded to me! How long & when will my money be refunded to my account?
I have a complaint with the store in Emeryville, CA (1538-BAY-EMERYVILLE). I ordered curbside pick up on 5/26/20, hours went by so I called the store. Was told it takes 2-4 hours for orders to be filled. Waited up to 4 hours and still no notification that my order was filled. Finally on 5/27/20 I get a email that my order was ready. Went to the store and followed instruction on email. I called the number and it kept hanging up. Pushed the bell and took 15 minutes for someone to come to the door. This is unacceptable, that took that long to get a curbside order filled. Th beere couldn't that much going on in the store that it takes that long to response to a customer. Either you need more employees working in the store or employees need training on how to accommodate customers. I spend lots of money at Michaels for my business and don't appreciate the way this order was handled. I like someone from corporate to response to me. Thank you
The Redlands Michaels is extremely rude. I understand that this time is difficult for everyone and I appreciate the accommodations made. However, that is not an excuse for rude customer service. The woman handed me an order that was not mine and when I returned it she asked my name and I told it to her for the 3rd time, she didn't look at her tablet but told me she doesn't have anything for me. I said "okay" and and she said okay and proceeded to help someone else. She didn't offer to check or apologize for any inconvenience.
The Lubbock Tx store associates are rude. They refused to help me make a purchase via phone while I was in Lubbock. I drive over 100 miles and was turned down. Then I made a purchase online for curbside pick up and they ruined a cricut mat for me and then refused my return.
Michael's refused to accept my refund. And stated due to the coronavirus they will not be accepting refunds amd if I would have known this I would have never purchased anything from them. Even the receipt does not state that they are not accepting refunds due to the pandemic.
I wanted to return an item and exchange another but I was cut off. And was sent the same replacement that I already had.
Then trying to get anyone who can tell me what is going to happen is ridiculous.
I was just told we are happy to have resolved the problem. But I was not told of the solution.
I am beyond angry at this point and will be going elsewhere and making sure all my friends and family are told. Then request they pull their business as well.
