My husband and I went to Abercrombie tonight to buy my daughter a flannel shirt she had seen when she was in Syracuse. The first 3 people we talked to didn't know what flannel was. The fourth person said they didn't have anymore though there were 2 displayed on mannequins. After questioning him for a few minutes he agreed to check and see if they had anymore in the store then directed us to the men's section saying they only had the shirt in men's sizes. I ended up buying my daughter a mens' medium that fit her perfectly and she is 5'2" and weighs 110 pounds. You need to direct your staff to appear happy to assist patrons. It was a disappointing experience. I hope I never have to encounter such discontented employees again.

Comments: Good afternoon.
Myself and my partner visited your store yesterday morning in Solihull to
purchase some summer wear for our pending holiday.
When we went to pay for the shorts that had been marked down due to sale
instore, we were greeted with, oh really sorry, put we haven't had time to take
the sale signs down!!
After putting a point over, i then returned all the purchases that i was
making, 2 x shorts, fleece, coat and 4 t shirts to the shelves as i was
disgusted that no one in the shop had made an effort to take the signs down.
The shop was really quiet, so i can see no reason why the staff hadn't.
We regularly use Hollister in Solihull for clothes, but unfortunately, this has
made me wonder if this the way you treat your valid customers, i will go
elsewhere..
your views would be appreciated..

I was beyond mad while trying to check out at your SouthPark Store located in Charlotte,NC. To begin with there was NO ONE to check any body out. The only person on the floor was some girl(Stacy) at the front of the store. I sent my son to the front to ask her to get someone to come to the register. She called on her microphone that she had on, only to hear it come back to all of us standing at the register. So whoever should of been wearing it left it up there at check out. So she preceded to call someone again(still cannot hear you, no one is wearing it). She then tells us that there is ONLY 2 people working and she cannot check no one out because she is not to leave her post at the front of the store, but she will run to the back to see if someone can come. A girl comes out to check us out FINALLY. She told us (now 5 to 6 people at check out) that the manager was unable to come out. So I asked her if what he was doing was MORE important than checking out customers, no answer, I ask again, is what he is doing more important than checking out customers, she replies, "well he is taking care of some things". So I ask AGAIN (3rd time) IS WHAT HE IS DOING MORE IMPORTANT THAN CHECKING OUT A PAYING CUSTOMER!! Now and only now does she finally answer no. Thank you, thank you for finally answering my question. I then ask her for a telephone number that I can get to call and complain,I want to express my concern and how unprofessional the whole experience was at this store. Now after all this time of waiting this non professional girl is going to ask me to WAIT while she now wants to check everyone else out and I am to wait longer. I TOLD HER NO!!!! I WILL NOT WAIT ANY LONGER GO GET ME A NUMBER TO CALL SOMEONE!!! To make matters worst as if it could get that way she returns with a card and on the card it is for employee to call and report other employees. Now I ask you WHAT AM I GOING TO DO WITH THIS NUMBER. I leave the store and go to the other Abercombie store for smaller boys and girls. On the way out I ask the girl at the front who is the manager today. She said "I think it is Patrick" I ask is it or not, she said I think so. Not finding what I want at the other store I return to the first store. Now Patrick is at the register and I ask him for a number to call because the one the girl gave me is for working for me.He then asked why and then I tell him I am not in the mood to go through all of this crap again. Just give me the number. Stacy shows up and I tell Patrick that she is not even sure who she is working for today. She then goes into this "I do too" she all but called me a LIAR and Patrick told her not to say any thing. Since when is it acceptable to back talk a customer!!! Upon leaving Stacy is acting so mature by rolling her eyes at me and turning up her nose. Your hiring process leaves a lot to be desired. Your managers need A WHOLE lot more training. You NEVER,NEVER,NEVER leave the floor with only one person on it and no one to check people out AND no one could get into a dressing room. I have not had such a horrible time trying to buy any thing at any store then I did at yours.Your sells to me may not be but a drop in your profits BUT I can tell you this my opinion will matter to people when I start to tell my story to my friends face to face and ON LINE. There is nothing more important than WORD OF MOUTH when you are working for the public. I work for the public and I know. I check people out everyday. I KNOW HOW TO TREAT SOMEONE WHO IS BUYING FROM MY COMPANY.

It is the policy of Abercrombie & Fitch Co. ("A&F") and its operating subsidiaries (the
"Company") to adhere to the highest standards of integrity and to apply these standards fairly
and consistently in every area of the business throughout the world. Every associate, including
every officer and director (collectively "associates"), shares an obligation to protect and
strengthen the reputation of the business in all relationships with customers, associates, suppliers,
competitors, investors, and governmental agencies.

They don't want to help me and they have my money....
I will never buy again from them....package lost...and they keep my money! this is a theft!

I am happy to know that my issues with Abercrombie & Fitch's LOUSY CUSTOMER SERVICE is not just my experience. I am having to resort to writing a letter to the corporate office hoping to resolve a problem going back to an order I placed in DECEMBER 2012. The original order was processed incorrectly; the follow-up "Speed Exchange" was also screwed up where the rep charged me for the merchandise I had not yet returned AND the replacement merchandise that had not even shipped yet. They refunded that mistake but the sizes of the new merchandise was wrong. I finall RETURNED EVERYTHING on Feb 2, they acknowledged receipt of the return on Feb 5 and they still have not refunded the money to my credit card. The incompetence of the telephone reps is astounding but the lack of common sense of the email/customer service reps is astounding. I will NEVER recommend this business to anyone.

All employees at the West Cty Mall in St. Louis should be deaf by now. I took my granddaughter shopping today for new some jeans and tops. We walk in and the music was so very very loud, she covered her ears and did not want to shop. Just wondering why the music has to be so blasting loud. You couldn't even hear or concentrate. My suggestion - turn the volume down just a notch. I'm sure I am not the only customer who feels this way. We grandparents like to spend money on our grandkids but not shopping at a rock concert atmosphere. Turn the volume down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am very disatisfied with Abercrombe & Finch!! In January I ordered s hooded sweatshirt and a plaid shirt for my sons' 30th birthday - no problem ordering it or receiving it but it apparently came from China (Putian Chengxiang Lite sports) with a contact name of Mr. Zhuang, which is also fine except if you need to return anything it is impossible to get in touch with them - the invoice that came with the items says i ordered a coat worth 26.00 euros, when I paid 125 euros for both items - the hoodie is fine but the shirt is way too big and not the one I ordered and I can't get in touch with anyone to arrange an exchange - I have sent numerous emails but no response so NEVER again will I buy from Abercrombie & Finch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A&F at Wolfchase Mall Galleria in Memphis, TN is THE ABSOLUTE WINNER of the worst customer service you can possible get at any store is the world! My sincere congratulations on your success! You did it! Your employees and managers tried very hard to be as hostile to the customers as possible and they have achieved the unbelievable heights!
Yesterday I got called "white trash" and "b...h" by an A&F employee in front of several other customers and my special needs MINOR son. It was a surreal situation and I am considering to meet with an attorney regarding the incident. The manager of the store took the employee's side and said to me: "you are Russian, go home". I could not believe my ears considering I am an American citizen for 13 years now and have never-ever been treated like this my life. The incident started over an empty plastic cup. I asked a cashier if there was a trash can in the store where I could dispose of the empty cup so I could shop with my hands free. He told me they did not have a trash can. I continued shopping from one table to another and simply placed the empty cup on the corner of each table. At some point, I moved to the next table and left the cup on the previous one. IMMEDIATELY a young female employee approached me asking about the cup in loud voice with some trace of negative attitude. I picked up the cup, apologized and explained the situation to her. Her response was: "We do not have trash cans here; you have to carry your trash with you". It was said to me with such rude attitude that I turned around and told her that perhaps the management should invest a few bucks and get a trash can so their customers’ shopping experience would be more comfortable. She kept making some kind of nasty comments as I was walking away. Finally I heard her talking to another employee about it and saw her pointing a finger at me. THEY WERE WATCHING ME! It was the last drop. I turned around and put the cup on the table and told her I was leaving it for the management to take a notice. She RUN to get the manager and was screaming to a cashier not to let me buy anything because I was "white trash" and "b...h".
It happened yesterday. I am still shaking going over the experience and have hard time explaining to my autistic child what had happened and why people in the store were yelling at us and told us to leave. Outrageous! I feel violated, humiliated, and disgusted by the whole experience. I will never step over the threshold of that store again.

Dear sirs,

Last Jan 27th I was in your Park City Outlet Store where I bought several products that were on sale – Trans 1846 – Cashier 578689 at 17:34.

During transaction the manager Mr. Dustin Reed nicely asked what were we doing in US / Park City. I replied we were on a business trip and he asked what kind of business was it. I simply replied I’m in a resale business over the last 10 years with a US brand. In this moment your manager explained the store could not sold to the resale industry. I clearly understand, however I immediately explained I was buying for my kids as any other private customer.
Without any further explanation, when I gave my credit card for payment, he took it and made a copy of it without my authorization or any further explanation. I immediately complain and told him that he had not my permission to do so and I didn’t accept the way he was doing what he was doing and he would be responsible for any abuse that would happen to my credit card.

I classify this attitude as RUDE, UNPROFISSIONAL and unacceptable specially coming from the store manager.

I’m writing this email as I want A&F to b aware of what happened in the store and once more I reaffirm that if any abuse will happen with my Credit card, I will responsible A&F and Mr Dustin Reed personally.

Kind regards,

Paulo Frias Costa

I shop at your Park City, Utah outlet store. Today I went next door to Harry & David's. I heard a deep pounding coming through the walls from Abercombie & Fitch. I complained to Harry & David's and was told that they had asked A & F to turn down their music and was told that the volume was set by corporate and that they were not allowed to turn it down.

If this is true, it is bad policy. Your store is affecting the neighbors business let alone their employees.

Please allow, or tell the Park City Store to turn down the music, or move the speakers away from the common wall or insulate the speakers so the sound does not travel.

Thank you, J Craghead

Worst service at Manhasset NY store.Would never go back again. Rude staff who were talking to each other and not paying attention to what they were doing Roosevelt Field Mall is much better staffed. Many people will never go to that location for good.Sunday,Jan.27 5:30.

I never received my package, after a month and 6 failed emails, I finally got a confusing email with a new invoice and something stating "sold out" and stating I should pay immediately so I can get my merchandise. I am unsure what to do, I tried calling twice, but after being on hold for 25 minutes I gave up!
This has to be the worst customer service online I have EVER seen, bar none... ANd I do a lot of online shopping!

My experience with A & F has been absolutely dreadful.
My emails are not being reponded to and my attempt at telephone contact is a complete waste of time.

Really? I went to A&F @ Westfield Mall where customer service sweetly informed me that the ear-blasting music, which cannot be adjusted by employees, is not a problem-what? Just because one cannot even HEAR one another?? My nine-year old girl who LOVES music was seriously getting a headache between that&the over-powering perfume they spray @ service desk started her big time sneezing&we had to leave! Even if I am not 18-30, does corporate REALLY not want sales to increase, as I am one of the many who used to shop there years ago&spend ALOT of money before they changeed their image, which incidentally, was laughable visually. NO MORE!

Never again will my husband or myself shop at either Abercrombie and Fitch or Hollister.. I bought my husband from both stores and he was not happy with the product.. We went and returned the clothes yesterday and in both stores the music is so loud that you can not communicate with the salespeople.. They are rude and usually do not make eye contact with you. Well in both transactions i paid cash and in order to receive my refund I had to sign a paper which required my name, address and phone number.. SERIOUSLY!!!!!! Why do i have to release all my personal information to receive a $ 26.oo cash refund.. When I asked the clerk about why I was required to fill that in she acted like i was the moron.. I told her that I was not going to fill out the info and she said that if i didnt i wouldnt get my money back.. NEVER have I walked into a store with a return and been told that i had to fill out the paperwork in order to get my refund.. The clerk also proceeded to look at me and say in a very sarcastic voice.."Trust me noone will use your info to come look for you".
I have never received such poor service.

My ex-husband purchased a tee shirt and hoodie for our 16 year old son at the Grandville, MI store. It sat wrapped under my tree for a few weeks. My son opened the presents on 12/25/12. He did not like the the hoodie because the emblem was "too fancy". The tags are still on it. He did not even try it on. It sat in his room until 12-29-12 until his dad picked him up. Today, 12-30-12, they brought it back to the store. The manager refused to accept it stating It wasn't in the "original condition", because it smelled like smoke. None of us even smoke! Two store employees apologized to my ex, saying it looked and smelled fine to them, but they couldn't do anything about the manager.

not only did i not get my order ontime for christmas... but was promised a gift card that i never got.....so mad!

Posted by Anonymous

I am HIGHLY UPSET. I ordered a gift card on Dec. 11th and am just now receiving it AT THE WRONG ADDRESS. I called 2 to have the address changed and below the confirmation email confirms the address change. I spoke with 2 different reps and they assured me the gift card would be delivered Christmas!!

Well it's Dec. 28th and it just showed up at my house...which is NOT the correct address. I just called in to speak to a manager and your rep was completely unhelpful and VERY RUDE.

If this is kind of customer service I can expect, you better believe I'll never be shopping here again.

I was treated like I was to OLD to shop the store. No one would help me. They cold shouldered me the whole time. I will not shop the Easton store in columbus oh. Very Rude!!!! They should post a sign that says 21 AND UNDER SHOPPERS ONLY.......
Ps. The store should be self serve/check out!!!
I really wanted to buy clothes...

A&F and Hollister customer service reps work out of their homes, they will not put you through to a supervisor because they communicate with supervisors through instant messaging. I placed three orders for Christmas, one with A&F, A&F kids and Hollister. The most expensive order was Hollister which arrived with no issue, the second was the A&F kids which shows delivered but was not....the first rep said she would give me a 75. gift card, then lowered it to 50 then said I cant even give you the 25 gift card, but I will give you a 30% off coupon....WHAT, REALLY? I am out 88 bucks and they offered me a discount which means I should pay them again for merchandise I already paid for and got lost which is not MY fault. They also refused to give me the name of the "so-called" supervisor stating it is company policy no to give out their names or locations.....NO CUSTOMER SERVICE HERE.
