My problem started when Ambit did charge me for 11 months and than I got a bill for over 500.00...PSE&G than look at my account as though I was not paying Ambit, so when I called Ambit they would not contact PSE&G and explain what had happen..They left it up to me to straighten out there mess...and now I find out that they charge me 42.00 over and above what PSE&G is charging and again they do not seem to care at all...When it comes to Customer Satisfactory there is not such things with this company (AMBIT)

Anyone want to join my lawsuit against the most incompetent ridiculous and less than considerate company that is not consumer friendly. Tired of spending 18, 20 and 31 minutes waitihg to be transfered to someone who can pretend to help you. tired of being told you light bill would be reasonable only to find out that it's higher than most others-----my e-mail address is [email protected] company is a shocking reality of deregulation and is out of control---where's the PUC --------hello??????

Ambit neglected to forward my last bill to my San Antonio address after I had finished a 1 year job in Dallas. They had my forwarding address as did Time Warner, the Apartment complex for the last water bill etc. Only Ambit chose to ignore sending my last bill for $59.01. Ambit turned t5his into the credit reporting agencies as not paid. I found out Jan. of 2013 this was a negative on my credit report. This goes back to 2009!!!!. Three weeks ago I spent 2 hours on the phone trying to get this taken care of as per Ambit direction. I was told to fax a copy of the payment to Ambit and they would contact the reporting collection agency as soon as they received the fax and a letter would be sent to me for proof of payment. Well, I still have not received the letter and the Collection company has not been contacted by Ambit!Keep in mind this is a bill for $59.01 from 2009! Your customer service SUCKS and apparently your employees are LIARS.If a potential customer is reading this,which I doubt Ambit will put up on their site just beware you are dealing with LESS THAN HONORABLE PEOPLE!!!! I have had the worst experience with Ambit energy the last 3 months. My CC expiration date expired and all I had to do was provide them with new date. Since then they have not been able to apply automatic payments instead I have had to continue to reinstatement fees. For two years they had no problems with taking automatic payment now all of a sudden i'm paying out of pocket for their incompetence. They are only out to take their money. It takes 30 mins to even get anyone on the line in the first place.

The Worst Customer Service From All Departments.i've Never Felt Like I Was Just A Bill Until I Called Here. I Think In Training One Requirement Is To Be As Mean As Possible And Not Help Customers.

what kind of company would turn a 82 year old man lights off when he had paid every month that he has been with ambit on time. he made a agreement with the company to pay a light bill that was at someone else place of residence that was in his name. Ambit customer service rep went to get the supervisor to finalize it and the supervisor was to busy to come to the phone. Then Ambit said they said they called my wife who the arrangement was agreed upon, but they say they could not reach her. Kind of hard to believe when it is her cell phone. So they turn his lights ans said that he had to pay a deposit,a reconnect fee, a deposit, and a disconnect fee and the entire amount that was due from another property. He is on a fixed income but ambit didn't care. This is a case of ambit not wanting to follow to go through with the arrangement that was agreed upon. Just a classic case of taking advantage of the elderly.

Liah83, just for your information... Ambit does have shorter hours than most power companies. I am not going to deny that, but there is a reason for that. If your power goes out, you do not call Ambit Energy. You call the provider of electricity, the company that delivers it to you because it is their fault not Ambit's. You were clearly misinformed on how the process works and I am sorry you went without power just because you did not know who to call.

How can a such important and essential company like a power company have such short hours. Ambits hours are asinine. Our power blew out at 6am on 11/04/2012. It is now only 7:45 on a sunday. and they won't be open till 10!? So now we risk our food spoiling which isnt cheap. This is absolutely unacceptable.

office hours need to be open longer spent all night in the dark with no lights on trying to pay my bill once again which i already paid earlier last month n they still got cut off the lady in customer service was rude after i told her well melaine another lady i had spoke with said it was fine to pay the other 80 i owed next bill even went on saying some people wont tell u cuz they jsut want the payments paid n so forth just thought it was outragous how i could not conact anyone to help me get my lights cut on throughtout the night had to wait till they opened with a fussy baby n couldnt even cook or go out for food by the time i got home it was late and everything had closed customer service is horble
