Chase has been paying fines to the FEDS for years now. They must be an easy mark for the FEDS because they have given up Billions in fines. The real problem is Chase's acquisition of WAMU back in 08 or 09. Chase only services these mortgages and they are recorded by MERS. If you attempt to find out who owns your 'note' you will most likely be directed to 'Fannie Mae' who will respond by telling you it appears we own your note! APPEARS?? Actually if you like me have Chase servicing your WAMU mortgage your mortgage is null and void. Problem is finding a competent lawyer of which there are few and getting fewer and the A-holes who wear a robe and sit behind the bench, aka JUDGES are even worse. You are a victim of mortgage extortion and you should take the steps to try and find out how to have your Chase 'Mortgage' QUASHED and eliminated with prejudice! Good luck, I am still working on mine.

I have been sick over this whole thing for over 2 years now. Since Chase took over our mortgage it has been a living nightmare. Was forced into a mortg. remodification, had to claim ch. 13, they LOST my paperwork, claimed I did not send paperwork, even took it to the field office and had a home mortg. rep to deal with, she was just completely rude and tough to reach, after submitting all forms, they took too long it expired then resubmitted, they took another 3 months, waiting ....then nothing, then found out we were denied.....hadda claim ch. 13 to save the house....very sad...hope I can get a new company!!

I too have had trouble with Chase. There is NO personal service at all!!! You are just a number. One CSR tell you one thing and another one IN THE SAME DEPARTMENT tells you something totally different. You can NEVER talk to the same person. I went through a divorce. He left home so I tried to get it back on Making Home Affordable. Come to find out, CHASE sent someone into the home while he was gone (before he moved out) and deemed it VACANT. So NOW I can't get it back. Ended up filing bankruptcy on it because of them and the greediness. They COULD HAVE got their money back out of me, but instead have chosen to auction it off in a terrible housing market. I'm guessing they will not get half of what we owed on it. The SOB's need to have some BIG lawsuits against them and take them for all they have!!!

IN A NUT SHELL, CHASE IS LIKE DEALING WITH THE DEVIL. PERIOD. THEY HAVE A BUNCH OF PEOPLE THAT DOESNT KNOW THE RIGHT HAND FROM THE LEFT. WE HAD TO DO A SHORT SALE BECAUSE OF RELOCATING WAY BACK IN NOV. HAD A PERSON WHO WANTED TO BUY THIS HOME. CHASE DIDNT DO A DAMN THING ABOUT IT OTHER THEN APPRAISELS AFTER APPRAISELS. FINALLY ACCEPTED 125,000 SO WE THOUGHT. BUT CHASE SENT SOMEONE OUT TO WINTERIZE THE HOME. THEN TIME TO DO WHAT NEEDED TO BE DONE, TURN EVERYTHING ON, SOME MORON THAT CHASE SENT TO WINTERIZE LEFT A TAP OPENED IN LAUNDRY ROOM AND FLOODED THE CARPETS IN LIVINGROOM. SO HAD TO HAVE IT APPRAISED AGAIN FOR LOWER PRICE. AND CHASE WOULDNT PAY FOR THE WATER TO BE EXTRACTED, THE BROKER HAD TO DO IT. YOU SHOULD HAVE PAYED IT WAS YOUR FALULT, AND BELIEVE ME IT ISNT OVER YET. SHAME ON YOU CHASE. I CANNOT BELIEVE, WELL YES I CAN WHEN I HAVE HAD 4 DIFFERENT REALISTATE COMPANYS SYA DEALING WITH CHASE IS LIKE DEALING WITH THE DEVIL. I WILL LET OTHERS KNOW ON FACEBOOK TO NEVER NEVER GET INVOLVED WITH CHASE MORTGAGE. I KNOW THIS WONT BE ANSWERED, BUT AT LEAST IT WILL BE READ. I WOULD BE EMBARRESES TO WORK FOR THIS CO. YOUR TERMS SUCK ALSO. OF COURSE IT WILL BE REJECTED CAUSE THE TRUTH HURTS

Went to pay my house off and they make it impossible to do without adding additional bogus fees for nothing.
You HAVE to mail in your payment (more days in the mail, more interest charges).They require a payoff document that you have to pay $30.- for even though you already have the pay off figures and so do they. I will never do business with them again. Closing all my credit card accounts for entire family. They are like all the other financial institutions, stealing your money under the guise of "fees" (for nothing).

My house was hit by lighting in july-2011 and we called are ins.agen and find out from them that are ins. that was included in are morgage was not payed by chase in may like it was suppose to be. so we called chase and been run around in circlcs. They said the would pay for the things that got fryed but all they don is run us around in circlcs, call after call and still nothing so i guess the only thing left to do is try to scratch some money together and try and sue for breach of contracted. This really sucks, what would of happen if the lighting would of burned my house down, they dam sure would be looking for there money. pissed off henry gaugler

I've been dealing with Chase for 6 years. When we helped with cancer medication for my father-in-law, we got behind on the payments. they worked with us to do a modification. We also got behind on payments after being laid off for 6 months. they could have taken the home from us, but they did not. We had every chance to get caught up and now we are. I have nothing bad to say about Chase.
