Very bad experience from day one and it continued till this day. First of all, I have a wide house and needs a lot of work to be able to cover everything on matter of internet. I've called almost every month since I moved with different complaints regarding the internet. And thy aren't coming too quick to solve an issue that shouldn't occur from the first place.
You also have to pay attention to the billing because apparently they make a deal with you for a month only and no one is mentioning that to you. I agreed on a $116/ month deal with internet and phone and the first month bill after the deal was correct . A month after the bill, it came $100 more and they don't care at all about the fact that it was their error. They try to negotiate your credit with turtle steps and the supervisor Ashley is even trying to put the fault on you as a customer.
Anyways, it is a useless company that would rip you off if you don't pay attention. I would not recommend them to anyone and I'll definitely change the service to another company

I signed up with cogeco last Dec 2021. I thought I was signing the service agreement for $112. + tax for 180 months. This month my bill went up to $143. When I called I was informed that service rates can increase. So what about the 180 months? Also I've only been with Cogeco for 8 mths I didn't even get 12 mos at the rate offered. Bad business as far as I'm concerned. They're very deceptive. Do not recommend Cogeco.

NEVER EVER GET SERVICE WITH COGECO, ESPECIALLY NOT THEIR INTERNET OR EPICO TV SERVICE!!! IT'S TERRIBLE, BUGGY, OVERPRICED AND SHUTS OFF/BREAKS CONSTANTLY. NOT ONLY THAT BUT THEY ARE THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THE ENTIRE WORLD - WILL TRY TO CON YOU CONSTANTLY. **We have been through 3 sets of modems & receivers in 2 months, had multiple repair/installation techs in, and been on the phone for a total of 8-10 hours. Not a SINGLE customer service rep will help you with ANYTHING. They will tell you 'get over it' 'that's not our problem' 'that's the way it is' even for simple issues & inquiries. I don't know if the entire staff cannot do anything, refuse to do anything, or are being told by the company not to do anything. (Because Cogeco KNOWS how terrible Epico is. They'll even admit to you that it's total garbage!) **They will also LIE CONSTANTLY and even fraudulently ! Have had a tech baldfaced lie and misrepresent himself as a district manager- to tell us to stop complaining and try to con my mother into another service. Had a second tech lie about transferring us to said 'manager' and instead, according to the person who FINALLY looked into this after more than FOUR PLUS HOURS OF BEING TRANSFERRED, wrote a note saying he was just gonna pass us off to his friend to 'deal with us'. Had another employee give my 58 year old technologically challenged mother a Cogeco Tech Admin LOGIN and tell her to edit and set up her own wifi instead of the tech doing it herself- which was literally her job, and as someone whose best friend works in the same position at an almost identical company: the easiest / fastest service required. ***ALSO!! COGECO WILL DO EVERYTHING THEY CAN NOT TO LET YOU CANCEL YOUR SERVICE. THEY WILL HANG UP ON YOU, LIE TO YOU, PUT YOU BACK IN THE QUEUE,TRANSFER YOU REPEATEDLY AND MAKE YOU START THE PROCESS OVER AGAIN EACH TIME (THEY WILL GO TO DOUBLE DIGITS OF THIS!!) IN THE HOPES THAT YOU WILL GET FRUSTRATED/UPSET AND GIVE UP. MY MOTHER HAS ENDED UP CRYING ON THE PHONE SEVERAL TIMES AND WAS ONCE TOLD SHE WAS 'COMPLAINING' / 'BEING DRAMATIC' WHEN SHE ASKED THEM TO PLEASE JUST LET HER SPEAK TO SOMEONE WHO CAN ACTUALLY HELP HER MAKE A CHANGE HER SERVICE. THEY THEN 'ACCIDENTALLY' HUNG UP ON HER. I have never in my LIFE been so furious and genuinely APPALLED by a company's behaviour, lies and blatant manipulation. They literally REFUSED to let my mother out of her contract. I HAVE NOW BEEN ON THE PHONE ON HER BEHALF FOR ANOTHER HOUR - and have had a customer service rep tell us that a previous tech lied last time about a different service too. And of course, they REFUSED to let me speak about changing service in any way- just stuck me RIGHT BACK ON HOLD / INTO THE QUEUE ANY TIME I SO MUCH AS MENTIONED IT. (Would ONLY discuss a repair tech- nothing else.) I am now going to have to GO TO A STORE IN PERSON to deal with this, and will NOT be leaving until this disgrace of a company cancels every service we have with them. IF YOU ARE STILL WITH COGECO - GET OUT WHILE YOU CAN (AND DON'T TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER- THEY WONT MAKE IT EASY) !! IF YOU ARE NOT WITH COGECO BUT WERE THINKING ABOUT IT - RUN THE OTHER WAY AND DON'T LOOK BACK !! DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE WE DID. COGECO WILL LEGIT TRY TO SUCK YOUR WALLET AND YOUR SOUL DRY. (Yes I have proof of all of this.)

Worst service I have ever experienced two weeks ago I was like go for my job because I have a remote position and need Internet for my job after months and months of trying to get them to resolve the issue of my Internet as of today it is still not resolved but I did get a disconnection notice for having to pay for a service that I have not had since last year my Internet goes off-line continuously trying to reach somebody at cogeco is virtually impossible and when you do reach somebody they choose not to help. I am now looking for a reliable Internet company if anyone has any suggestions please let me know

5 days since a storm blew through my block. We've had professional and prompt service from the local hydro, tree companies, roofers. But ABSOLUTELY NOTHING from Cogeco. Cables on ground, disconnected homes. Not a repair person or crew to be seen. Helpnline s total waste with uninformed personnel pushing weasel words that they "care" but still no service on downed phone and internet operations. Sheer incompetence.

Been on hold now for 60 minutes trying to cancel my Cogeco subscription. Only talked to one person so far, and they said they were "not set up" to process a cancellation. Our neighbours went through four people before they were able to discontinue their service. This is ridiculous customer service.

Dismal service. Been with Cogeco since 2005 and I am now leaving. Rates consistently increasing. Cannot contact on line nor via phone, on hold for literally hours. Do not recommend.

Cogeco internet connection went down. Modem kept rebooting trying to connect. Called and they were going to book a site visit 3 days away - so no internet for 3 days - rediculous. I ended up resolving myself by disconnecting and reconnecting coax cable to modem. Phone support was useless. It was obviouly an issue on their end. Then I see a truck drive by an hour later ..good grief.

Terrible service, no help during covid situation they want to paid! on going outages, long unacceptable hold times with the same annoying music played on hold for the last decade. If you own your box they say the issue and problem is due to an old box and want you to purchase a new box. long hold times and the same music for the last 10 years with the most annoying music played on hold. Miss a payment they disconnect and charge an activation fee. Unless balance is paid in full they demand payment and no other arrangement accepted to reinstate service.

Absolutely horrible. Bell was far better, this wifi network always disconnects and reconnects, I've lost so many games cuz of my retarded network. Do not recommend, bell is better. I would honestly beat my hed with a rock than use this wifi.

Been with cogeco about 45 days. Have rebooted my modem 4 times, tonight is 5th. Promised faster internet and better tv picture. Neither happened. Horrible horrible product. Changing back to bell fiber this weekend, eventhough its 20 per month more

I've had Epico for a year now. Hate it. Tv is terrible. I've had technicians here before due to internet problems. Now more internet problems. Told me it will be 3 days until tech will come. Called Bell and they are sending their tech tomorrow to set me up with their servies. GOODBYE EPI CRAP

worst experience, watch out, salesman lied about the internet speed, lied about porting my phone number and on the top of everything when I asked them to cancel the the service they want to charge me the whole term service.

THIS COMPANY IS SENDING OUT UNRELIABLE AND SOMETIMES DEFECTIVE PVR BOXES. They are SENDING OUT REFURBISHED BOXES and I HAVE HAD TWO THAT WERE DEFECTIVE ON ARRIVAL. When I complained they told me I had to get the new in cloud service, and I won't have any more issues. One rep said there are no new boxes being made. Another rep said I could definitely get a new box as they are available but he sent me another used one. I have complained in writing to CCTS. TERRIBLE COMPANY

So, since the last month, cogeco came to change my modem, they said it had a problem when it didnt, gave us a modem with the PUMA6 chipset, which is defective and known to give packet loss and stuff like that.


Ive called them multiple times, telling them I want a new modem since this model is defective, and all they do is giving me new modem yes, but the same model, and they claim the problem is from my NEW gaming pc, or, the cable box in my yard, but weirdly enough, didnt have a single problem b4 they changed the modem.

Cogeco is for sure the worst ISP ive ever had

Internet needs to be reset periodically. Irritating but works for the most part. The real problem is with Epico TV. Picture is noticeably inferior to Bell Fibe. Juddery and blurry. Went to Cogeco for high speed as Bell not yet available in my area. If you have Bell 1Gbs available, don't even consider Cogeco. Nowhere close.

Terrible Customer support nothing but a run around between billing dept and Technical support. The solution is to send someone to your home and charge you for the service call? Especially now a days for a year and a half dealing with Covid Cogeco should be able to fix a problem by remote for a digital box not able to see all channels ? Its not a line issue or a box that need to be checked. Maybe if someone placed notes on resolution from the past the problem would be resolved by now a week later. Not acceptable service for any customer.

Cogeco cable used to provide a crisp, clear signal,those were the days.
Presently,I haven't been able to watch a show without it cutting every out few seconds. This occurs nearly everyday and sometimes for hours at a time.
I look outside, it is nice out--there is NO visible reason why the service should be so incredibly subpar.
I want to switch to Bell, but they charge significantly more. But cogeco is a you get even less than what you pay for company...Save your money.
I'm searching for another provider where at least some shows can be watched without service interruptions.

If you enjoy intermittent service with not a single F*** given towards you by the provider, look no further Cogeco is the ISP for you. Buffering? Check. Random Drops? Check. Terrible customer service? Check. Cogeco has all your internet needs, for a reasonable price of $130 you too can have unreliable fiber internet in your home! Don't forget that your node will constantly be under a "work order" which gets completed every two weeks, but not the whole job, but don't worry nothing another 6 or 7 work orders can't fix!
