I had booked return ticket in FINNAIR from Helsinki to New Delhi. However,due to sudden illness, I had a unplanned and unsuccessful operation, and I had to undergo operation in India,further, hence, my planned holiday was spoiled due to medical treatments in New Delhi. I requested FINNAIR to consider my request to help me change the return date, as my purpose of travel was to meet my old parents, in the eastern part of India, but my entire planned holiday was being used for treatment, hence, had no time to meet my parents who have been waiting. I had provided all the necessary doctor's certificate to them. But FINNAIR on the contrary, replied, that their doctor has advised that I can travel back to Finland as per the schedule after the medical treatment. It was an out of context answer.. I was requesting them to change the date, due to unfortunate surgery, so that I could still fulfill my plan of visiting my parents. But they refused to change the date, I was ready to pay extra for necessary change, but no initiative was taken by the FINNAIR and left me helpless. I will never recommend FINNAIR to anyone. They are the most insensitive airlines I have come across. I have decided, I will never travel by FINNAIR ever after. I have not seen any airline which so unfriendly ever. BEWARE FRIENDS

Finnair left all their passengers stranded during the recent snow at Heathrow. The website had no information, no one picked up on the customer help line and there was no one at the check-in desk. They didn't care less if people had to sleep on the airport floor with nothing to eat or drink. The customer service wasn't bad - it was non-existent.

Finnair failed to fly my baggage with me from JFK to VIL. Was advised in Vilnius this "normal." Finnair has been entirely non-responsive to my efforts since then asking that they responsibly address the situation.
