They drag their feet processing payment requests. Promise to do overnight and it never comes. Lie about payments sent. Just a nightmare to deal with.

Horrible customer service experience with long-term care insurance. Where do I begin? Calls to Southeast Asia where they don't understand. Then being transferred. Then getting reps who seem friendly but they never promise and deliver things they say. And then the process takes months to get something done. You make a phone call once a week and it never gets resolved. Again, horrible customer service experience. Never buy anything from this company!

Horrible, horrible customer service. Without exaggeration, I have been holding to speak with a customer service rep for more than 30 minutes! I am really shocked at their deplorable service. I would never recommend them to anyone!

Absolutely the worst customer service experience ever. I requested a hardship withdrawal and it has been approved. The form, website and customer service says it should be 3 to 5 days but here I am on week 2 and I keep hearing the same thing 3-5 days. All I want is MY money and all I'm getting is the run around.

Absolutely terrible customer service. They are definitely not a "Do what you say" company. I had my bank account hacked and money stolen. I attempted to get a loan, which I am eligible for, to pay some critical bills and protect my credit. Their site states 2 to 3 days. It has been over 5 and I can't get ahold of anyone. Completely unprofessional. Fidelity is the way to go, they at least care about their clients.

I have a policy with JH. I have spent literally half my day trying to talk to some one about a policy for my wife.. I tried the portal, three times with new code, not accepted, three customer service people, no help, a fourth disconnected me. I tried a local office here in Denver, nothing but a busy signal. Also on a previous chat box offered I did this and then the site would not give the final words to submit.

I have never had a worse customer service experience. EVERYTHING that could be screwed up was screwed up. If it was a 401k I would move it to an IRA in a brokerage house in a minute. Unfortunately it is a pension and they are the administrator. This company is HORRIBLE!!

I Have Been A John Hancock Retirement Services Customer For Many, Many Years!!! That Being Said, I Have Internally Rated Them At A 8 Out Of 10 For Their Functioning And Customer Service. As Of Right Now, I Have Been On Telephone Hold With Them For 3 1/2 Hours!!!!! Yes, The Stock Market Is Crashing! Not My Fault! Point: Jhrs Needs More People People People To Answer Their Their Their Phones, So They Can Assist In Helping Customers Make The Investment Changes They Need To Make!!! Right Now, I Give A Score Of 1 On A 10 Scale. Omg. Such Juvenile Services! It Is Embarrassing!

Try to register doesn't go through with no explanation. I call with a question. Wait time ridiculous. Get rep, ask question, and he transfers me for another 15 minute plus wait! Next I know, automatic deposit is missing! Nothing on website about delays, and no email either. Another 15 + minute wait on Monday.

we bought into john handcock in the 80 we paid over 16,000.00 in premiums now they want about 4,000.00 a year instead of the 460.00 that was my cost .this is the biggest ripe off ever, i was told if i paid 995.00 one time my cost would stay the same so i paid it now they want it 4 times a year.i asked for my refund of the 995.00 so far no luck.i would never advise anyone to but john handcock EVER

My husband has been trying to do a hardship withdrawal for over three weeks! Everyday, we have to refax the documents. Then their not uploaded and they need more documents. This is holding us up on settling on our house. Our lender is waiting for the funds to be released so we can finalize the loan. These funds need to be released and deposit ASAP! This is really frustrating , to say the least!

They are crocks, thieves and liars. We are going on the 8th day and I have still have not received a response on my hardship loan. Customer service reps do not care and refuse to help you.

This company has one of THE WORST customer service experiences that I have seen. Agents are completely unprepared, rude and inattentive.

My money will be taken out of this firm as soon as possible. I don't have to and WON'T deal with poor customer service when you are making money from my invested funds!

401K's suck and are for losers. You cannot invest in stocks, and your funds are frozen, while you sit there as a loser while the market tank.

Customer no service. After being on hold for over 70 minutes, the worst call center of any industry I have ever experienced. Airlines, cable television, tech support for any company, you name it. This is by far the worst. In all aspects. Glad to be exiting John Hancock and switching over to a real company with real service.

this has to be the worst I mean the worst customer servcie ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!35 minutes wait on the phone the 1st time then 45 minutes the next time 1/2 hour apart. This is so sad..
