Long story short, I'm going to copy-paste the exact problem that EVERYONE has.

Nexon Customer Service
Santa Clause.
Easter Bunny.
Good Customer Service from nexon.
A funny Family Circus cartoon.
Bisexual, Vampire Teen Wizards.

What do these things have in common?

None of them are real. They're all imaginary.

I will explain Nexon's approach to customer service in one sentence and then some more sentences after:
"We have your money, f*** you, we have your money."

Example:

You forgot your password.
You click the link "recover PW" under log in.
You are NOT sent your password. You have your real password reset. You are then sent a temporary password to log in with.

Your only option to check your account info is a reset password option. There is no info on your account for you to review. NOTHING.

When you attempt to change your password to a new one, you'll find that your temporary PW doesn't count toward changing it.

Thus, they've completely blocked you from ever logging back in on that account, as even if you remember your old PW somehow, it's now been reset to a random string of letters and numbers.

So basically, you need to remember your PW to recover your forgotten PW.

To use their customer service to open a ticket, you'll need to log in.

The ticket must consist of your two security questions, the second of which, ISN'T TOLD TO YOU.

Not only that but Nexon has been known to change your security questions without notice!
So if you forgot that question, you can open a separate ticket to recover THAT!

Oh yeah, you can only have one ticket open at a time. It may also takes literally months to get a response.
If you somehow miss the notice of this fact, ALL of your tickets will be deleted.

If your email changes.
...You're screwed. Because they ONLY send your info to your original email. If it was closed for any reason. You're again, screwed.
Why bother helping you when they can just wait for you to make a new account and spend more money starting over?

If you are a friend of a GM you WILL be allowed to cheat and hack the game without punishment. This has been proven countless times.

One player actually sent a report about themselves hacking and was given a canned response thanking the player for the report. Proving Nexon isn't paying attention, nor do they give a rat's ass.

Nexon is now infamous for having THE worst customer service of all time. Maple Story is the third highest grossing MMORPG (making 100-500 million dollars annually) in the world and despite this, their security, forum/website, staff and policies are not only unprofessional, they are underhanded, deceitful, spiteful and shamelessly evil.

These folks cannot handle anything to do with the actual games, e.g. connectivity, server to client or client to server issues, anything account related. Please don't call them for any issues with the game or launcher.

Okay, I have been with Nexon Off and On for 5 years. Until recently, I have had NO reason to contact support. Ticket system Chat system works... NOT I have 3 open tickets in regard to crashing... I'm gonna try once more... Wish me luck... Oh, and you CANNOT get anyone by phone

i know why my account suspended and banded..there are people do report not relly...she report i hacking..so my account suspended and now i cnot use ready..nexon please give back my account and my rank..the account is old my account and i use a lot money for give up my rank..

You know what guys? My account's perm banned for no reason, while Nexon said I hacked the game; however, I don't know how to hack...
Therefore all the time I spent in is wasted because I sent in tickets and wait for half a year and get a response of "sorry to hear that but we can't help you."
WHAT?!
and there's another "This ticket have been too long so we're closing it, but you might already received an email with solution. Feel free to submit another ticket." while I didn't get any email from them...

I used put out a lot of money for nexon. I cant get it to run anymore and I im going to stop playing because I cant get the help I need.

Nexon probably has the WORST customer server/support system EVER! I have been with Nexon since around 2001, and I am only still here for the games. I have spent a LOT of money and time on their games, and what happens when my account gets hacked? I wait for OVER A YEAR to get a response from them! It's absolutely ridiculous! I tried calling their hotline as well. No support? Really?

Asked about the new Extraction game coming out and why they haven't sent Beta Keys out when the game was released a week before. She didn't know anything about it.

Really?
Get your act together. I'm sure you're not the only high-paying customer you have or will lose to this horrible service.

Service never on time, always finding bandaid solutions IF that to whatever might be going on. Games always glitching/crashing never banning those who break the ToS.

Very inconsistent. The customer service can take anywhere from a month to more than a year to respond to your ticket regardless of the issue.
The more trivial your issue is, the more likely that Nexon will acknowledge it. I still have a ticket from November 2010 that stands unresponded to.
Nexon also is notorious for relentless e-mail spam that seems almost designed to make you want to close your ticket.
VERY RARELY provides solutions that are actually helpful. It is easier to ask fellow players than ask Nexon. In fact, many of the fellow players I ask seem more knowledgable than Nexon.
Nexon also uses automated bots to respond to most tickets, often providing utterly irrelevant responses based on keywords in the ticket.

"There is no phone number for the support department"

Who the hell thought it was a good idea to make support UNREACHABLE BY TELEPHONE? Might as well just wait three more weeks and be "patient". They should learn some things from Nexon Korea, I personally know that their support was great.

they are a company, they need to take responsibility and answer their customers when they have a problem!!!!!! I have sent in complaint after complaint after COMPLAIN AND NOT GOT ONE D*MN ANSWER!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think I have a right to be mad. I have been trying to solve these issues for MONTHS!!!

I was one of the victim of the hack that occur I thnik 2 years ago and waited for reply back from nexon and when getting that reply, they said they will refunded me, but never told me how much they will do it, since I saw a little nexon points that was roughly 37.5% of my nexon cash lost (75,000 NX and I lost 200,000 NX) and try replying the mysterious added NX since it appear around two days after the ticket was reply back on the refund and took 3 months and the 75,000 NX points disappear guessing that was the refund since they stated they will remove it after a month for no reason. Then another insult to injuries this what I got reply back after submitted the ticket from October:
"Hello,

Thank you for contacting Nexon Customer Support.

Please be advised that although some time had passed before there was a resolution to your account being hacked, the notification about the compensation was sent to the email tied to this account.

As such, this compensation cannot be extended to you again.

I am sorry that you have experienced this issue.

Nexon must really hate their customers (even someone was devoted to the game of DFO) so badly I feel I don't want to play their games anymore, just too painful. I think they treat even loyal customers as dirt bags and can't do well with the hack problems. I haven't touch nexon games for 2 years now and forgotten may login and may call my credit card company to execlude any credit card use on that company.

honestly their customer service is damn near the worst ive even seen. They wont help you on the phone and they sure as evolution wont help you online. i sent in a ticket about recovering an old account that they set to inactive due to me not playing for a while. the only reply they gave me was auto closing my ticket.. honestly f these people, how hard can it even be to have that job?????

The Support and Customer Service Team Is Absolutely Terrible, I Had Filled Out Tickets Only To Have Them FINALLY be addressed 4 Months Later, To Which They Asked For More Information, Which When Given Prompts Them To Respond Another Month Later. The Service Is Poor And The Majority Of Players On There Network Even Have Complaints Even Launch Forum Posts About It. I Can Honestly Say Without Doubt That This A Company, That Cares Very Little About Its Customers And Only Seeks The Money That Comes Out Of Your Wallet.

Nexon is one of the worst gaming publishers I have ever dealt with. Be very weary to spend your money on people who honestly may never, I mean never respond to any of your emails if you run into problems or their server screw up and delete everything you paid for.

Their customers service is so bad that it literally can take them over 2-3 years just to send you a automated message, this has happened to me on several occasions until I completely got fed up with them, sure their games are fun but it isn't worth putting up with the publisher that hosts them, Nexon. This is no joke, I have had so many problems with their games and their services and every single time I needed to send in an email it was never answered by a real person and if it ever did reach one which was extremely rare a GM would close the ticket without any real reason and no answer to your ticket at all.

They are greedy people as well they will make for sure they get their money at all costs, they will take your money and never speak to you if anything happens to go wrong with any transactions. They love to rip off the children that play their games and they know they get away with it and millions still support them for whatever moronic reason.

Their GM's do the worst work, I honestly do not even understand why they pay these people to honestly do nothing at all for their customers let alone ever hear their pleas.. Not even that their staff is completely arrogant and incompetent jerks. By far the most rude when they actually manage to ever pay attention to their costumers.. It is never a good experience.

Just look at their own forums people there can't stand them either and I am sure even after the several years I have not visited I could go there now and see how people are still being mistreated. The last time I was around they said they were working hard on customer service, after two years of the same crap. I said screw them.

Nothing but false hopes and more lies from them which honestly is not surprising, they go back on their word more than any other company I have dealt with as well. I mean truly, they will say one thing then say "meh we don't have to do it.. well get around to it when we feel like it even though we set a date" Then everyone rages and they will straight up insult their customers just for wanting them to actually follow through with anything.

Don't believe me? Waste your time playing their games or visit their forums and eventually you will see exactly what people mean, only way to avoid their nonsense is to just play their games and never spend a dime on them. Sadly their servers are so unstable half the time I can't even promise you that one would be happy just playing their games.

They were always having server problems they could never fix and hackers are always attacking them for good reasons, they hate them just as much as everyone else and they see the poor way they treat their customers so they are constantly combating hackers because of that.

Any time I sent a ticket in to Nexon it hardly ever felt like I was talking to a person. It was always some copypasta with my username slapped on it and asking for more information or telling me "too bad".

There game (Mabinogi) has been in shambles for the longest time now, that it's more of a surprise when it works correctly then when it doesn't, I'm not sure what else to say really other than their service really sucks.

called the number here it turns out to be for their business center I inquired what that was for exactly and received a very rude response stating that I should mind my own business and that the operator did not have to inform me of anything. The service is very unprofessional, very rude, and extremely unhelpful... Nexon has official lost a high paying customer!
