Optus kept charging me for 4 months after I requested their customer services to close my account. Twice. They use these tactics to squeeze a little extra out of every sucker that uses them. After the first three months I realized and called them. They said "can you tell us the name of the operator you talked to last time?". A month later I was still being billed. I bit the bullet and paid the first three months. When the last bill turned up I was stunned. These are very dirty tactics at a time when a lot of people are struggling with money. Optus deserves to go out of business. Last I heard they were going to call me back.
