I have always been a ridgid fan of all ridgid tools but resetly I went to repair my r250afa nail gun and found the parts are no longer available. I am a plumber and used all of your tools and never had a problem
Customer Service Scoreboard
Don't buy Ridgid stainless wetvac. It is made of steel that will rust through. I contacted Ridgit about this problem. I was told that I should have dried up the wetvac and avoid its contact with water. They sell the wetvac as stainless, which appears to be false advertising. But if you still decide to purchase their "wetvac", you better paint the inside of the tank with some good epoxy paint. I will never buy Ridgid products again
Drove 200 miles round trip to service center. Dropped off 3 tools 9/19/23,recieved replacement drill 2 months later. Nothing but run around on the other tools. To this day Nothing but approved claim numbers dated 10/6. When I do reach service rep it's always some other department should be shipping it in 2 to 3 weeks. It's darn near Christmas now and still nothing, this is bulls--t. I'll be going back to Dewalt and I may try some Milwaukee tools.
i have tried to use Rigid warranty and it is impossible. No person is available take a call. ( after 3 calls over 150 minutes wait time no answer) Texting them is a waste .. for they have limited and far away locations for repairs... Repair vendor dont want their business) Home depot there biggest vendor has abandoned their warranty work. IK am a contractor with over 17 pieces of Rigid tools and i expect them to be professional. Note: their recorded message is good by poor for service.
The worst customer service I ever dealt with. The warranty on Ridgid is worthless now that they make you sent the tool into them. Never a service center within 100 miles. No way of knowing the status of tool repairs and the Reps have no idea of when or if your tool will be repaired. I will never buy another Ridgid tool due to their warranty issues. JUNK
Have an impact driver that has a battery stuck on it. Rigid support basically told me to drive to the closest service center (70 miles away) to drop it off for repair. I bought Rigid tools for there lifetime service warranty. I should have read the reviews first. I do make this promise though. I will never buy another Rigid tool again and I will let everyone that i work with know how well they take care of their customers.
Just found out they changed the LSA procedure and it's now crap, used to just go to the Home Depot and get things replaced when they broke; now ya gotta d*ck around with a service center that's only open Monday to Friday till 5 PM. Like what are they thinking? People work for a living and can't just drop everything to run to some Authorized service center and then it may take 15 days before they look at it and fix it or maybe they'll send you a new one?
Time to buy Milwaukee i guess cause it's not worth the time and expense to use the so called warranty. Turned into a crap company with crappy products that they say is covered but ya gotta jump through a bunch of hoops and then have no tool for 15 days minimum. I'd advise to stay away from this brand.
I sent in my 18v drill go an authorized dealer in July. They couldn't fix it, and was told Ridgid would send me a replacement. That was on the 28th of August. I've called numerous times to get this straightened out, and it almost November! I have no idea if this will ever get resolved. I advice you to pray nothing goes wrong with any of your tools, and if it does, just buy another one.
I have two screw guns two grinders all went bad. Can't call nobody cuz they don't answer the phone. My charger went bad it was a big one and they send this tiny little piece of junk that was broken a week because they have speaker wire for a cord. Home Depot doesn't repair anymore so now they want me to send my tools to Canada to get fixed it's cheaper to just buy Milwaukee. Then send them back
Two phone calls to customer service today. First on I hung up after exactly 30 minutes. Second attempt I ended after twenty minutes.Tried E mail and their response was (Get ready.....) call customer service. Detent bypass lever broke
(fell off) my mitre saw(still under warranty.
I have tried 4 times and contacted them 5 times regarding a failed battery. My replacement has been approved 4 times now and I have yet to see the replacement. I have tried to contact them and several numbers and all I get is a message stating the hours they are open. I am calling DURING those hours and no option to speak to a customer service rep. If I ran my business this way I would be out of business! I will no longer purchase or support Ridgid in any way from this point forward!
I have two cordless grinders and two cordless screw guns I am told I have to ship them to Canada which is nearest to me to get fixed. Shipping rates to Canada are crazy plus customs
I probably have 40 rigid power tools when they die I'm throwing them in the garbage and buying Milwaukee
GARBAGE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! AVOID RIDGID. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.
I've received no response to two messages sent through their website. I called and was told I needed to speak to a supervisor before being put on hold for over 20 minutes. Eventually, I requested a call back. I received no call back. I called again today and have been on hold for over 40 minutes just to speak to an initial customer service agent.
we sent in our 3000.00 battery powered cable crimper for repairs as it was still under warranty. Ridgid's service center was not allowed to repair, so it was forwarded to Ridgid. three months later still getting the run around and no information at all. we have around 70k worth of Ridgid power tools at the plant ranging from large pipe threaders, cable crimpers, and hundreds of hand operated, & battery powered tools. these will be the last we buy mfg by Ridgid. as a facilities manager I have never had to deal with such a poorly run tool mfg. The company who purchased Ridgid also purchased Greenlee. hope their service doesn't go in the toilet as well.
Was on hold for over an hour that's not counting my previous attempt when I just left them a call me back number. Then as directed to the service center that is no longer servicing rigid tools because rated won't pay them. So I called back again and left my number to be directed to yet a nervous service center that is no longer servicing rigid tools because they're not paying their bills. 3 hours of my day I will never get back
Bought the Ridgit drill set a few years ago and regitered it. A couple of month ago it broke. I tryed to contact the customer service via phone and spent many hours with no result. I found a number to text, it was also waist of time. Finaly I was able to find email address; It took almost two weeks to a responce back with all phone numbers I could call to receive a service to fix my drills. Some of the numbers were no longer in service, some are fixing other tools. Basically I did not recieve any help, but frustrated. Overall it is the most horible expirience I've ever had with any company.
Don't buy Ridgid. It's terrible. Customer service is incompetent unprofessional also habitual liars.I got a warranty on my tools and it's not being honored they send me to places that don't service there tools. They gave me a location that service my tools 3 to 5 miles away.Dont buy these Ridgid tools unless you want unsolved problems and the run around.
I have bought ridgid tools in the past for plumbing hand tools and they are among the best tools I have bought all other tools I have bought for plumbing either broke or bent or stripped out. all the power tools I have bought have been dropped once or twice off a roof by accident and I climb down 2 stories and just a little scratch on the tool. I have had other drills like Dewalt same thing fell off roof and broke into many pieces, same thing with black and decker broke into a bunch of pieces. I firmly believe in the quality of ridgid tool's I have never had to deal with customer service because I do my best at taking care of my tools and still have my tools after 6 years + of putting them to work hard for me. can't say that about the Dewalt kit I bought prior or the Ryobi kit or the black and decker kit I bought prior to owning ridgid tool kit. those kits didn't even last a year. I think the Dewalt kit lasted 7 months black and decker 3 months and the Ryobi a day before the motor on the Ryobi started to smoke.
We are proud to recognize the companies providing the best customer service each year within their industry.
