Purchased a Schwinn recumbent exercise bike found it impossible to work with their assembler. Get no help from Schwinn scheduling installation

I purchased it in April when they still offered a free year of JRNY. That was the only reason I purchased this model over the diamondback 910 sr as I'm disabled and that was a deal I could use.
Of course by the time it shipped and my husband put the bike together I'm only given 2 months free.
Such a scam.

Bought a reproduction Schwinn Black Phantom around September 2020. Had its share of dents and paint chips. I know that this Chinese junk is not anywhere near worth the $499.99 plus tax cost.....but,my Dad wanted it.
The forks were bent so bad that you couldn't mount the front wheel. Schwinn's warranty is useless since they didn't have a replacement. They claim this happens with the "limited edition " bikes. After years of searching I found a new replacement fork and purchased it. Now the bike is at least on its wheels. Tried to mount the tank....but did not have the necessary screws and u-nuts in the package. Schwinn sent me the u-nuts....but did not have the screws. After 3 years,I rode the bike around the block. It almost killed me when the kickstand fell down and hit the road. The spring loaded button that locks the stand in place does not lock as it should. Schwinn customer service states that they actually have it in stock and will sell it to me.
I asked about the Schwinn "lifetime warranty" and was told that only covers the frame. Does not cover any replaceable parts.
So....a bike that had cost upwards of $650.00 that is still unusable.
You would think they would care.
Beware buying a Schwinn product.
Another old company that at one time sold well made products.
Now....they sell defective bikes that come that way in the box.
Then they mislead customers into thinking that they have warranty coverage.
Schwinn should be ashamed

Bought a Schwinn 270 recumbent exercise bike in December 2020. It had a defective part. Starting on January 8, 2021, contacted customer service to get a replacement part, which was supposed to shipped by January 15, then January 28, then February 5 and then today (February 5 2021) March 5 2021.

i purchased a schwinn bike and have some issues with it. I emailed customer support and have not received a response in over three weeks. This is a joke. I will never buy another schwinn product, no support means no buy.

I purchased the Schwinn 270 Pro bike in September. It is now December and it still does not function. It's impossible to get customer service on the phone and once on the phone, they offer no assistance. They replaced the entire electronics assuring me that the problem (grinding noise and not able to peddle except in reverse) would be solved. It was not solved. The problem continues. I would never again purchase anything from this company.

Recently bought Grape Krate for child's birthday. Package came from China with no box damage. Bike had a few damages - hole in hand grip, dent in handlebar, and paint chip (dime size). Filed warranty issue online - confirmed - no response after 3 weeks. Called Customer Service offered to replace the bike or send me a new hand grip. I stated that the birthday replacement would not be feasible and asked for the grip and a bottle of touch up paint. The rep agreed that on a business sense, this seemed like the best solution for all ... except they would not approve the touch up paint because, "that's their policy". Great business model and QC. How not to make money - Spend over $100 in replacement shipping and repair for a $5 bottle of paint.

DO NOT BUY SCHWINN! Ordered bike in May 2020. In August SCHWINN took money stating bike was on its way. The very next day I received notice that there were delays and they could not give me an estimated date of delivery. They stated I could request a refund which I did. It is September 25 and I still do not have my refund. Customer Service is TERRIBLE!!!!

I contacted Schwinn to find out if VR oculus would work with bike 270. I was told it would. We tried to connect to it and it won't work.i called back and another agent said it will not work. I am very in happy with the first agent because the MAIN reason of buying a bike was the oculus would work on it. This is not how you represent a company, the agent could of told me they didn't know and find out what bike it would work on.

I bought a Emo bike lock. It worked fine for about a month. Sadly yesterday, it would not unlock. A policeman had to cut the lock to allow me to go home.

I recently bought a Schwinn Drifter 26" men's bicycle. I've had two flats on the front tire and four on the back. The last was going down a good grade that left me with a gashed hand after the tire/tube blow out. When I bought this bike I bought a Schwinn for my ten year old daughter. I've fixed the back tire on that bike also. So, the tire/ tube being sold are "JUNK"!!! Not something that I thought of when I chose to buy Schwinn. Well, it's all Chinese baby! Schinns JUNK!!!

I purchased a Schwinn roadster tricycle for my grandson for Christmas. As it turned out the seat was missing. I went back to Sam's club but they only had pink trikes left. I asked if they would take a seat from one of those and it was against their policy. The seat from the bike stores is $39.95. Can I get a seat for it from you? Thank you. Kathleen Wood.

I purchased one of the thousands of folding locks priced @$40 and regularly sold at Canadian tire.



Unfortunately the thief after unsuccessfully tried cutting the lock, easily popped the lock with a flat headed screw driver. I would like to send a pictures to show where the lock is clearly weak. Perhaps you can be some help with looking into this and the lock.

Initially, on or about August 23, 2015, we purchased a SCHWINN ELLIPTICAL 430 thinking it would be the greatest home exercise machine since sliced bread! Boy were we wrong!! It took a little more than four hours and two adults to assemble the SCHWINN ELLIPTICAL 430 and after all that, it did NOT work! So, we call ACADEMY SPORTS AND OUTDOORS where we purchased the SCHWINN ELLIPTICAL 430, and the store Manager advised me to bring the SCHWINN ELLIPTICAL 430 back to the store where we purchased in southwest Oklahoma City, AND we did after spending another two hours taking the darn thing apart. That being said, we did NOT return the SCHWINN ELLIPTICAL 430 for another SCHWINN, but opted to exchange the SCHWINN for PROFORM ELLIPTICAL and it works! We are amazed, after the SCHWINN people told us that they would send us another POWER ADAPTOR, they did and the SCHWINN ELLIPTICAL 430 still did NOT work!! I used to think SCHWINN BRAND was the Cats Pajamas, apparently, I was wrong!

I bought my Schwinn "tweener" 35 years ago when Schwinn got out of the replacement business and the factory "built" bikes from spare parts they no longer used to repair bikes. It was heavy and rugged and lugged me and both kids on mounted seats around the block and around the nations national park systems. It was borrowed to Africans when they visited. It was college transportation for my son for a couple years. Last week I was riding and a small boy on a bmx rode out in front of me and the collision destroyed the indestructible. (the bike wheels not me. no one wants to replace the wheels as they are quite out of date). No request just thanks so much for all the fun. Mike

I recently brought a Schwinn 130 Upright, I am so not pleased with this product or their customer service. I took the product back for a full refund. Warning..........Do Not Buy! If I had the CEO's name I would let him know how I feel, in the mean time I'll use the internet to let everyone else know.

My wife recently bought a Schwinn Boundary 24 inch Ebike. She has an electrical glitch that shuts down the display. Well...the 3 customer service reps I have spoken to have been fantastic to work with. Apologizing for our problem, sending parts to try to correct this electrical glitch and genuinely caring about our satisfaction. Sorry if you are looking for a Schwinn basher. Not here. Those folks have great.
