  • The first order that I placed with Snapfish was excellent. The second order I placed was on Jan 4, 2010 and it is now the 16th of January and I have not received my order yet. I have just completed a call to your service department and I needed to tell your rep what service I should get. I was very disapppointed with his response and the service that I should have received from your company.

  • This company has no customer service. I have received no satisfaction and the customer service reps cannot even communicate via email with any quality. I have never seen such poor service. I would recommend that people stay clear of this company. When you phone for help, you can only reach India, and no one in the US for help. This is really sad because the site does not begin to measure up. I cannot understand how you could receive any Good Housekeeping or awards. They haven't done business with them. Just take my word and do not order from them. It is a disaster as my order was and they will not resolve it.

  • I ordered 3 items on Dec 12 to give family on Christmas. Snapfish said it was shipped on Dec 18. Chatted with customer service on Dec 24 and he was clueless as to where the items were. After telling him they ruined Christmas a few times (yeah a bit dramatic) he offered half off the order. I was ok with that.

But today I FINALLY received the package and I see that there is a UPS tracking number on it. It shipped on Dec 21. I'm pretty pissed and will never shop here again for 3 reasons:

    1) They lied about when the item was shipped
    2) The customer service rep should have known there was a tracking # and given it to us
    3) They should have given a tracking number to me in the first place via e-mail so I wouldn't be sitting around a whole week early waiting for the package to arrive.

  • Ordered my photobooks 20 days ago. Still no sign of them and no help from Snapfish. Won't order from them again.

    Anonymous 12/29/09 2:45PM

  • I had a similar problem as well. I ordered calendars on 12/16 and was promised Christmas delivery. It is now 12/28 and no calendars. I managed to reach local support in San Francisco and they still were no help.

I did manage to find a list of Snapfish Corporate officers and sent all of them a letter describing my problem. Hopefully I will hear back.

  • I ordered three photo book on Dec 12 to give to my wife, mother, and mother-in-law on Christmas. The books did not arrive until Dec 26. Since the Moms were visiting from out of town, we missed the chance for my young daughter to give the books to her mom and grandmas. Now I have a pay to ship the books to my mom and mother-in-law. Won't be using snapfish again.

    Anonymous 12/26/09 3:48PM

  • Snapfish posted a calendar of shipping times on their home page that stated if I ordered by Dec 14th, I would get my gifts by Christmas Eve using standard shipping. Not so. Now I'm not getting any of them in time when I would have selected faster shipping from the beginning if I had just known. Oh and even though the phone number is nowhere to be found on their site, don't use the customer service email - it's no help at all and my orders had already shipped by the time they responded, which means they are now in the shipping void and NOTHING can be done to change anything once they are out of Snapfish's hands. Thanks for nothing.

  • Horrible company with poor customer service.
Placed order in snapfish.in, no response after more than a month. Order not received and send several mails to customer support and service. Also their did not disclose the phone number to contact. Website look fishy, more fraudulent. Even contacted the US snapfish, their say we cannot help with india orders.

    Anonymous 12/22/09 11:39PM

  • Not going to be using them again. Received my cards and they looked awful. Called and was told, also by a woman in India, that I could re-order using a credit and then be credited the overnight shipping charge. Once again, called, contacting CSR in India. On hold for a long period of time and having a great deal of difficulty communicating with her. Thankfully I used American Express which will handle this going forward for me.
With so many other photo card companies to use, SnapFish is no longer on my list!

  • This is my first experience with Snapfish & will probably be my last :( My order of Christmas presents just arrived & one of the collage travel mugs is missing :( :( I can't get any of their help links to work....both my laptop & desktop "whack out" when I try. I've used a "customer service--(hah)" e-mail address & they will get back to me in the next 24 hours, a lot of good that will do for Christmas! I'm also disappointed in how dark the photos are, but I think it's pretty pointless to try to return anything. Bad experience!

  • Poor first transaction so far. Customer service is difficult to understand on phone. They are unable to alter your order in any way. Submitting question through online service got no response (currently 2 days after submission). Wait on hold for a long time on phone.

    Anonymous 12/19/09 11:34AM

  • Update. After a long hold time and talking to a rep that had the heaviest Indian accent I've encounter to date; I THOUGHT we had this resolved. The next morning, I looked at my email and the IDIOT issued me a Snapfish credit NOT a credit to my Mastercard! I was VERY clear that I wanted my money back due to their inferior product. I will be BACK on the phone as soon as they open. This will also be the last time I use Snapfish. Why even have a customer service department if it is so complete inept and incomprehensible?!

    TPBfan1 12/19/09 5:57AM

  • I had the same problem as Denise. I've used Snapfish in the past with no problem. (Other then LONG waits for shipping.) This time the cards were too dark. I called, reordered a different card, got a discount code (though I found a better code online) and thought all was well. Well, here I sit online waiting for someone in India to tell me where my refund is. They are awful about returning your money, but really good at taking it!

    TPBfan1 12/18/09 8:21AM

  • I used snapfish in Oct got my pics and was happy with them.. its DEC and im looking at all my bank statement. Snapfish charged me 3 times of 15.00 every other wk. ( I only orderes once) Im sitting here 20min later still waiting for them to get on to re-emburce me my money!!!! Keep an EYE on your banking!!!!

  • Snapfish shipped me some other family's photo blanket and try getting any of their customer service numbers or emails to work! they don't. After you hold for 10 minutes on the phone, it just disconnects. Doubt that I'll see the blanket I ordered for my grandaughter by Christmas. I can't even find out how to send this one back to them!

    Anonymous 12/16/09 10:09AM

  • I wish I had found this site prior to ordering from Snapfish! I received my Christmas cards with such poor quality of brightnes, that in some of the photos you could not see the images. On my preview page of my card, every picture was adequately bright and all images were visable. When I spoke to the "customer service" people they refused to reprint the cards. I have used Shutterfly in the past and would highly recommend them.

    Denise 12/16/09 7:52AM

  • HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE- I ordered my Holiday photo cards and paid for expedited shipping. The photo cards come with envelopes. I was suprised to see that my order did not include the envelopes. I contacted customer support via their live chat feature. I was told that this issue couldn't be handled via live chat and a superior would be contacting me via email. After many hours and no email, I called their customer service which they've outsourced to India. I finally got to speak with a supervisor who said she'd have my shipping refunded and I'd receive my envelopes withing 2-3 days. I contacted them everyday and nobody can give me a concrete answer as to when they'll be received. They can't provide a tracking number or anything. The 2-3 day window came and went and nothing. I'm returning my product and never using them again!!!!!

  • A lady at work is retiring and so we wanted to make a photobook. We put a rush on it so that we could receive the photobook the next day. Unfortunately what they don't tell you is that the photobooks still take 5 to 7 days to come. Even if you put in a rush to have the item overnighted. When you go the website you have to look around for a contact number which is not listed instead there is an email address. You have to search for a contact page. I finally get the number and when I get to the customer service person the one on the line gives me attitude, informs me that even though it said's overnight its still takes days to received it. Tells me it will be here by the 8th of December i place the item for requested on November 31.

Fine... it will be here by the 8th.. she said's check the site to see when your item is being ship out... check the site everyday 5 days and nothing... call the customer service person and I ask to talk to a supervisor and now the person is saying that they do not know if I will even get it by the 8 now most likely by the 10th.

The retirement party is on the 8th. The man then informs me that he will try and email me but he doesn't know when it will come in... why am I making such a big deal.

Snapfish is a terrible company with people who are completely not helpful... we still don't have the photobook, an email letting us know the status!

I am never using snapfish again!

  • I'm sitting on hold as I type, it has now been 40 minutes!! It would be nice if I could actually speak to someone!! Two weeks after my order was placed I received an email saying that my order was cancelled and my card was refunded with NO explanation as to why. Thanks A LOT Snapfish the photobooks were supposed to be christmas gifts!! Now I wont receive them in time to ship them to the people that they were meant for!! I am going to have a hard time giving you my business in the future....Shutterfly is a better way to go. It is now 45 minutes on hold!!

    Alisa78 12/5/09 10:22AM

  • Awful.
The phone connection was terrible (probably because its in India). I was on hold for 10 minutes then the call was dropped. Called again, finally got through in another 10 minutes and could barely hear this woman. She was barely mumbling on top of the static in the background. I kept asking her to repeat, and she clearly knew how to speak louder, but didnt feel like it. I told her numerous times the connection was bad bit it wasnt getting through her head i guess.
She wasnt very sharp or helpful. My package was lost because i accidentally left my old address in the shipping section. She couldnt tell me what i could do to find it, couldnt even answer me what service they use to ship packages and said they have no tracking information. what? no tracking information? What the hell is that? That is SHOTTY CUSTOMER SERVICE!

  • I had ordered for 3 sets of photo books nad recd only one. Kept emailing them, got emails satating "your order is being processed". Finally after 2 weeks, I call up their customer service number & after almost an hour speaking to one person & then getting transferred to the so called supervisor who told me that he is returning the credit to my credit card & that i could place the order again if I wanted to. No apologies, nothing!! & Never mind the fact that they charged my credit card on the day the order was placed!!!
Once again, i was stupid enough to email the customer service complaining about the service & i get a stupidly drafted reply hat says my order is being processed. I doubt if they even read or undertand the complaints made!!!
Never again!! Stay away from snapfish..

    archana 11/6/09 10:58PM

  • Bad service! Bad company!
I placed an order for a photo book. After a couple of weeks I called to find out where my order was. My credit card had been charged. When I called the customer sercice rep I was told that my order had been cancelled because the pictures were copyrighted. I told him it was impossible since they were pictures I took with my own digital camera. He kept repeating how sorry he was for the inconvenience but that the pictures were copyrighted. After repeating over and over the same thing I asked to speak to a supervisor. I could swear the supervisor was the same guy (maybe from India as well), He also repeated the same thing over and over. I guess they read a script. When I asked to speak to his supervisor he told me he was it.
Great! I managed to get a refund out of them. I will never deal with them again. They could at least have called to say there had a problem. They just cancel the order and keep the money if you don't say anything.

  • Not using Snapfish again! Ordered a 20 pg photobook on 10/21/09 received it on 10/27/09. To my dismay 5 photos were upside down! Viewed my order online again to make sure it wasn't my mistake (I know I would have caught upside down pictures!) and it wasn't. Called 800.634.4500 (located in India with heavy accented English reps which are extremely hard for me to understand!) immediately. Customer service rep reordered the book with 2-day shipping. Called today, 11/4/09, only to find out there's been a problem and they have to reorder the book again! I'm finished with Snapfish. The last two major orders have had problems and I can't stand talking to Indian speaking customer service reps for a United States customer service number! Snapfish -- get a clue!

  • unsupportive and lost my pictures. dropping my account.

    Anonymous 11/4/09 10:18AM

  • Everytime I click on "help" or any link that would bring you to customer service, the internet jams up and it can't find any page on snapfish. I end up having to shut down the page and start over again on snapfish.com. I've asked other people to look for the customer service phone number for me and the same thing happens on their computer. They clearly do NOT want to be reached for customer service inquiries.

Also, I recently spent about 8 hours making a photo book, and when I finished the checkout process, it then told me that a bunch of my pictures weren't able to be used because of a snapfish error. Because of this, I had to spend another 1-2 hours reloading pictures, and when I went to checkout, the coupon that I had used was no longer accepted and I now had to pay full price. There had been no indication until checkout that anything had been wrong with those pictures.

On another occasion, I had to follow up on an order and when I finally got a customer service number, it connected me to India, and I spent over 20 minutes on something that should have taken about 1 minute because the man on the phone didn't "understand my request".

Overall, of about 6 orders in the last year, only 1 has been problem free. If I didn't actually like the products, I would have stopped ordering a long time ago.

  • I am so disappointed with Snapfish.com as well as their customer service. I have attempted to contact them three times in the past hour and each time when the level one support attempts to transfer me to their supervisor, my call is dropped. I am attempting to learn of an order I placed that was cancelled not once but twice. At this point, I think Snapfish.com should swim downstream.

  • ordered 15 "prepaid" rolls to develop wedding cameras (the disposable kind on the tables) during a free shipping promotion--then cust. service told me that could not get free ship on prepaid rolls, but gave me a confirmation # to submit with receipt and get a refund after pictures received. Like a FOOL, i trusted this company, then got back a note, saying they didn't give free ship AT ALL on film sent in (in spite of SPECIFICALLY listing 4 items ONLY that did not qualify for free shipping, none of which were film sent in for developing.) I NEVER would have wasted $40 on shipping for pictures--local stores run specials all of the time, and the quality SUCKED to make it even worse! I have the ad that states "develop all of your summer memories for free shipping", with the 4 exclusions on the free ship. promotion, also the name, time and date of conversation with customer service rep. (his name is Ravi--I wonder what american city he is in???) but this company will not honor their promotions--i am out $100+ for what would have cost $50-60 in a store! What a rip off!

  • Horrible customer support and they have lost me as a good customer because of it. It is outsourced to India. I have been dealing with 3 different people there - Santhosh, Mahesh and Sai K. They had deleted all my photos - 4 years work, by mistake. Then I got them back in disarray and stayed up all night and re-arranged them. I asked for the contents of my cart and my account history to be restored as well. They did that and completely destroyed my photo work. They left the albums and deleted the contents leaving me with nothing printable but junk. Check out www.yorkphoto.com instead...

  • I have never had a problem with snapfish until now. I just ordered some photo cards that we wanted to mail in a timely fashion so I paid for two day shipping, and they forgot to include the envelopes in the package!! How do you screw that up?

I sent them an email, and got a quick response that they were still working on it and now haven't anything in three days. Now all of the support links on their website are not working. Are they going under?

    Anonymous 5/15/09 12:04PM

  • Without a doubt the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. The representative clearly didn't understand my question and just kept reading the same scripted paragraph over and over again. Snapfish outsources customer service to India and I wish I had read all these reviews before I sent 14 rolls of film for development.

    Pat M 4/28/09 2:43PM

  • Me and my brother were both wrongly charged extra for photos on seperate occasions despite inputting voucher codes -which on website first accepts , but when you click confirm- charges full amount.
So far we have only got refund on 1 photoset and despite giving all details of vouchers, Snapfish India staff have no idea of their exsistence. It was pure luck that i kept the vouchers as proof.
Still trying go get 2nd refund -and worryingly Snapfish India staff have resorted to BLATANT LIES- claiming first a exp date far earlier than one on voucher!!!! - and when that was challenged they shockingly claimed voucher was not valid for the photoset ordered!!!!
And when brother tells them it is LIES - they ask to see voucher!!!!! - the same idiots who seemed to know expiry date and applicability of his voucher!!!
    Appalling

  • I never had a problem with a Snapfish order before, and don't plan to order with them again. Really awful customer service! Could not get an answer to my questions; all I could get was "I don't know" for what I asked. I could barely understand the operator and supervisor. No accounability for why my order was shipped and never received and why I was issued a refund.

    Anonymous 2/4/09 6:07PM

  • This is the worst customer services I have ever encountered ever in my life. They short shipped my order, they never sent me some over sized pictures I had order and paid for. All my e-mails were answered with authomatically generated e-mails that didn't give me any helpfull information. I was collecting the order from Jessops and they tried to help but found that Snapfish was extremely incompetent when trying to deal with the issue on my behalf. In fact they todl me they were ditching them as they were having far too many problems with their orders and lack of customer service.
If you can help it, don't order from them because if something goes wrong, you will never ever get it sorted.

    Edinburgh 1/29/09 10:35AM

  • This is quite possibly the worst company when it comes to customer service. Do NOT order from them!!! Unfortunately, by the time I was searching for a phone number and got to see everyone elses commments...it was too late for me.
I ordered one of there photo books on NOVEMBER 13TH, 2008 and it is now JANUARY 29, 2009 and STILL NO SIGN OF IT. It was suppose to be a x-mas present, then a b-day present, now it's just going to be outdated...that's IF I ever receive it at all! Their online support is anything But useful, you get generated answers like "it's still in process" or in some cases - no answer at all.
For your own sanity, and security of wallet, DO NOT ORDER FROM SNAPFISH!!

    Anonymous 1/29/09 5:36AM

  • WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! Ordered two calendars in early Dec for Christmas, they shipped someone else's calendars to me instead, I contacted customer service, waited 20 minutes to get anyone, and then got asked to be put on hold and subsequently hung up on.
Emailed, letting them know about this issue and also that the backgrounds kept changing even though you would save them one way they would revert to whatever they wanted afterwords, and that I needed that fixed. They proceeded to ignore that problem and two day my calendar out with the wrong backgrounds (think Beachballs in January) and it got here still after Christmas, and still incorrect. They are currently stalling giving me a refund (I dont need a fixed product, I ended up going elsewhere so that I could get a CORRECT product ONTIME), and I'm being passed from one person to another. I have never been so displeased with a company and will NEVER use them again.

    Earleygirl 12/31/08 9:45AM

  • Thank you for the number! What kind of company doesn't list a phone number on their website? I called this morning and they refunded my shipping charges because an order for notecards that I put it on December 6th and it still hadn't arrived. Their processing/shipping times are not accurate. They told me it shipped on 12/14 which is a Sunday and finally, this afternoon it arrived. It should not take 2 weeks for them to get me my product.

    Anonymous 12/19/08 12:34PM

  • DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Their customer service is incompetent and barely speaks English. I suspect my lost order is in India with their customer no service center. Do not ever order from this company. They are absolutely unhelpful and may have lost many of my family's Christmas gifts. I am told they should arrive by Christmas but they don't know where the items are or when they will even be printed. I wish someone had warned me to avoid Snapfish. Next year, I use Kodak or a local printer instead.

Fed Up with Snapfish 12/18/08 2:53PM

  • This company is infuriating - and the customer service that they provide is a scam -- I posted an urgent message relating to holiday cards (photos ordered on 11/16 so I'd have plenty of time - HA!)because they cropped part of my son's head out of one of two pictures -- and still haven't received a satisfactory reply beyond "I can expect something in 24 hours". Oh, I did get a link from them telling me how to fix red-eye and that I could reopen my posting...in seven days.

    Anonymous 12/12/08 12:28PM

  • I cancelled an order and they sent an email confirming that they put the money back in my account, which they did not do! They also have charged me an extra dollar each time I order from them and have never refunded that for me. When I called about not refunding my money from the order I cancelled they blew me off and said someone would email me in 1-2 days....ugh!! I will never order from them again! I don't know if I will ever see my money again, makes me sick to my stomach taht they can just get away with this!

    ehein 12/10/08 12:09PM

  • Their customer service is overseas and gives you fabricated answers not even pertaining to your order. I placed an order 10 days ago for a blanket (on December 1st) for the holidays and it's now the 10th and only after I called was I told that the blanket isn't even in stock and won't be for another week, if that, so who knows if I'll get it before Christmas. Not to mention that they won't let me cancel the order, while holding the amount on my charge card until the item comes into stock. It's fraud and a complete joke!

  • I was having some trouble with the snapfish website, I'm glad I found this site. The phone number worked and of course I was connected straight to India. No biggie, that's how everything seems to be nowadays. Though I would give my business to anyone who employed real live Americans if I that business exists.
Anyway, I received water damaged photos and they are replacing them for no charge with complimentary express shipping.
Snapfish has always been good to us.

  • I would have to agree it is very annoying to have to try to communicate with customer service agent who are obviously in India and have very thick accents... I ordered 6 mugs, one was broken, and three had inferior printing which was too light to even see.. you would think the person who created the mugs would notice you cant read the writing.. of course online when i created them, they looked beautiful.. anyway, it took me two weeks to get a refund but they did reorder the mugs for me and did not charge me shipping again.. customer service was really the main problem..

  • Another internationally outsourced customer service department...
The rep was polite, albeit very difficult to understand due to the language barrier.
That said, he understood the problem, and fixed it relatively quickly , and to my satisfaction (they had overcharged my credit card). Now, the proof is in the proverbial pudding, so we'll see if the credit does indeed go back to my card in the amount he stated...

  • I was disappointed when a coupon code that I was attempting to use on snapfish.com wouldn't work. I called the customer service number and it was explained to me that there was something in the fine print that made the coupon code invalid on my order. However, to make it right, the service rep was able to credit my account for the difference. I was pleasantly surprised. Thanks!

  • First, many thanks for the toll free customer service number and the space to post comments. I placed a small 4X6 print order and two of my favorite photos were cropped before being printed resulting in tops of heads and other details I wanted in the photo being cut out. The representative was extremely polite and helpful, helping me to reorder these photos free of charge with free shipping. Now, I just hope I receive the replacement prints in a timely manner.

  • I have found Snapfish customer service very friendly and very responsive. They resolve issues very quickly and do not make it difficult to deal with them. It doesn't matter that it is outsourced, the customer service is very good and perhaps everyone needs to be kinder to customer service....and they will be kind to you too!

  • Thank you for posting this number. I was able to contact a customer service person immediately. I order from Snapfish frequently, and this is the first time I have had a problem with my order. Yes, the call was outsourced to India; the person I spoke to was extremely kind and helpful. He is reprocessing my order free of charge. It's a shame that so many other people have had such bad experiences, because Snapfish offers some excellent products.

I placed an order with them for 79 prints and they were all great except 2 of the 8X10's were a little dark and they agreed to credit my account for the 2 including postage and told me to reorder them. I have used them repeatedly and never had a problem they didn't resolve in a timely manner.

  • After fiding the phone number here, I had no problem reaching a live person, although it was clear that Snapfish has outsourced to India. He was helpful but can't really compensate for the nightmare of my order. I ordered two items that were guaranteed to be here by Dec 24th. Neither arrived on time and I called and they offered me a 50% refund which supposedly has been applied to my credit card. One item came on Dec 31st and my other item STILL has not arrived. It was supposed to be my Christmas present for my grandmother! (this being my recent reason for calling). They have no way of tracking orders, the man helping me said it had been shipped on Dec 26th. His solution was to resubmit the order. I will not be using them again for two reasons:
    1. The horrible delivery service after they posted an announcement on their website that orders before December 19th would be there in time for Christmas
    2. The fact that they have outsourced jobs to India that Americans could use during these hard economic times

  • I had to search online for the customer support number (finding it here) and even though there was a ten or so minute wait i did speak with someone who helped me. My order was sent to the wrong address and i didn't know until i got the "your order shipped" email, so when i called they replaced my order and sent it out overnight. Im not sure how this will pan out but i was given a confirmation number to verify the conversation and re-order and they seemed helpful and friendly...any problems...CALL THE NUMBER...much better response than they email support (no response) or chat support (not guaranteed)

  • I was SO glad to find this number!!! When I called the wait time was said to be 30 minutes--but I was desperate, so I waited. It turned out to be a 20 minute wait, with possitive results. My order is late, so my shipping charges were refunded, and (supposedly...) my shipment will now be expedited. Worth the wait. Thanks for the number to whoever found it!

  • I too tried to find a customer service phone # as one cannot be located on the website. This site gave me the number. I called customer service at Snapfish because there were some ink spots on pages in my photo book, and the binding was not glued well. The rep. offered to reprint the book and send it 2 day mail. Also, I had tried to use a discount coupon which did not show up on my order, but the rep. credited my credit card the 20% of the coupon. So, I had a successful outcome to my problems.

  • Customer support is good, but it wouldn't be necessary so often if the shipping/closeout page included the yellow button to finish.

I will not shop snapfish again until this is fixed.
